would a charmer rom work on a s110

i dont want to fry the bootloaders either but im just wondering, is there any compact 2 roms (wm5) that would work with the s110 (running wm2003se)?
it has the 128 ram, i fail to see why they couldnt give an upgrade!!!its so annoying, wanted the persistent storage feature.
has anybody ever tried that and seen if it worked?

Touchscreen issue after flashed emonster ROM

Hey all. First of all, I'd like to thank all all the chefs creating ROM tutorials for newbs like me. I'm in japan and have 2 Kaisers, 1 is emobile's emonster, the other is from HTC and I'm using Softbank.
I wanted to extract emobile's ROM and flash it to my HTC so I would have 2 kaisers using emobile.
After going through all the tutorials, I successfully dumped and cooked the emobile ROM and created the nbh file. After flashing the HTC Kaiser with the emonster rom and powering it on, I get to the setup screen (it's in japanese so I guess I flashed the ROM correctly), but nothing happens after tapping the screen (none of the taps are getting recognized).
Has this happened to anyone after flashing? I tried a hard reset but the same thing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

But, I bueyed emonster 3. 28. 2008.
1 day after(3. 29. 2008) come this forum & flashing then using well.
Maybe You something wrong.
Try other rom one more.

Try to cook the ROM with the HTC drivers on it, (touch screen ones) because maybe theres a little difference between the Emobile one and the HTC one!!

I had exactly the same problem when trying to reconstruct the emobile rom. I had no luck resolving it I was hoping to get it working so I could try some of the english roms.

any drivers on that monster ??

Can you point me in the right direction on how to include the HTC Drivers? Is it like a package I download and add while I'm cooking? I googled HTC drivers but came up with nothing.

Extracting them from a wwe rom and then cooking the emobile rom with them inside!!

and a little question, does the emonster have the video drivers?? (for hardware acceleration )

by reading your first post again, a lot of ideas are coming to my mind right now, one is:
it could be the RADIO, that maybe is incompatible with the HTC kaiser, because the emonster has a different one or not? (f: 1700mhz)
and the HTC one doesnt have this freq.
so, maybe the radio is having issues with the current system because of hardware incompatibility.

No enhanced video drivers aside from radio weirdness it shoul be just like any of the windoze 6.0 Kaisers.

Thanks for your suggestion. I just recooked the rom with a touch.dll from an WWE rom as you suggested but nothing happens when tapping the screen.
You and Dejanet are correct that the emonster is on a 1.7Ghz frequency. So if there's any other suggestions you may offer, I'm all ears.
As Dejanet stated, unfortunately there are no improved video drivers
Thanks again...it's been a learning experience extracting, cooking, and flashing. I just don't know where to go from here...so close.....but soooooo far away hehe

do you know if emobile works on another frequency??..
if yes, you could try to cook the OS only, and use the emobile ROM with a RADIO from HTC. (obviously a compatible one, with your WM6 or WM6.1 )
give it a try ..

Since my goal was to get the phone switched to english. I tried flashing several of the OS only ROMS available here and ended up with a perfectly functional PDA but no phone.

could you provide the emonster ROM?
i'll try to get it compatible with the radio and a radio compatible with it..

If you would like to keep this thread i would consider making it a ME Touch Rom thread/discussion. As the rom itself has been documented and save
So not that new a rom but there should be two separate Official versions of these Roms both for the Elf as Elfin, At least the do exist for T-Mobile.
So unless it's dumped without SPL and IPL it wouldn't be adviced to flash this to incorrect device.

I have already made my own ROM with BIG storage and 4mb pagepool (for Elf) and 8mb pagepool (for Elf AND Elfin) based on this Rom's core and is posted here:

T-Mobile UK 6.1 Orignal Rom Released

First of all I am sorry about my english as I am from Pakistan and english is not our native language . I dont know if its posted before or not if it is posted admin plz remove my post . Its 6.1 T-mobile uk rom I dont know when its relased but i just checked the day before yesterday and downloaded it from T-mobile site . Onboard D3D Driver?!
After first start of this rom on my MDA Vario III, I've tried to run the q3ce, which requires D3D drivers. I did not install any of them! Just tried tu run the game, and it is running!!! Slow, and unplayable, but running! So I think this rom should have a kind of driver, shouldn't it? And I've realized, that the camera is much faster, even in darker room. And it requires a better video driver for this performance, isn't it?

Gsmart MW700 6.5 rom?

I've just picked up a Gsmart MW700 and while a little underpowered i'd love to put winmo 6.5 final on it. I've searched high and low and found the mybestpds.com forum, but they have nothing there but a potential rom that might work but it's a 65. beta.
Anyone know if a 6.5 rom is available that would work on the MW700? Is there a generic one or does it need to be specific to the device (guessing specific). Would really appreciate any tips here.

I would like to know if such a rom exists. But I would be happy even with just a 6.1rom, just so I can have threaded messaging (so I can remove sms-chat to free up some precious memory). Otherwise, I love this phone. For the price I paid for it, it far surpass my expectation.

As we dedicate here only to HTC devices you won´t find too much attention.

keep in mind to flash using only 64mb image files ..

did some research and found out this site.. its basically a thai site.. but register there to get the links ..u can basically try any of the atom v roms ..

Hi, I have MW700 with WM6 Pro, how can I update the OS to WM6.5 ?

I haven't done it myself, but if you search up 6.5 roms for the Atom V, you can load those roms for the mw700. Seems to be working for masterg0g0.
