Screen Protector issue anyone? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Guys I tried to put the screen protector that came with my Pro on the device. I noticed after putting it on my touch screen was not as responsive
It does and doesn't make sense, why would they supply it if it didnt work and why wouldn't it work>???
Anyone else notice this?

You are putting plastic over the screen. You may want to "realign the screen" That way it can calibrate for the new Protector. That's what I always do on my Kaiser.

Scratch on screen...

Hi there, i just bought HTC fuze like an hour ago and while using stylus, i got a minor scratch on screen...is there any way to remove this scratch as its brand new and scratch looks kind of bad, your suggestions will be really appreciated....thx
don't know how much you can rescue your scratched screen....I guess you can apply the screen protector that came with it. Hopefully it is minor enough not to be seen with the screen protector on

ya it is minor though but still want it removed before using screen protector....i heard about toothpaste but dont know whether it will work on touch screen or not...
I've seen listings like these on e-bay, I don't know if they work. Perhaps someone else has tried it?? Might be worth a shot... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DISPLEX-SCREE...3|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50
take it back to the store and get another one
If its a very slight scratch, try TOOTHPASTE --one that is mildly abrasive.
I have a scratch on my screen that's pretty deep... and Toothpaste wouldnt get it out. Your going to have to live with it... else.. replace the screen.
toothpaste????
seriously?
Will that actually work? I have few tiny scratches that I would like to take care of.
So I basically apply the toothpaste and wipe it off?

Sticky fingers

I just got my first capacitive phone today. While response is smooth, finger-sliding gets troublesome after some time when my fingers become sticky. I never had to deal with it on resistive screens since I use my nails, but how do you guys deal with this problem? Would a screen protector help?

Invisible shield is the way to go. some say it gets yellow, and doesnt stick very well, but I have had a few devices that had it, and never had this problem. Maybe they are smokers? My HD2 is so nice with the IS
Dont get full body. just screen.

Awesome and how long do these last on the screen? Can I still clean it with a LCD Cloth so there is not finger prints on. If I was to remove do they leave residue?
How do they work with capacitive screens? Wouldn't electron paths be less accurate with an extra insulation layer? Also, how do they look on AMOLED screens?

any idea on how to remove scratches ?

Hey guys , does anyone here know's a good method on how to remove screen scratches ?

its a minor scratch nothing to special ... buy a new screen for just a tinny scratch pleeaassee !

What I meant was that according to what I know there is another protecting screen over the main touch screen so you can just replace that one.I think that there is protective screen over main touch screen because when you press too hard on screen you can see main screen gets discloured for a while.
So just replace that.

[Q] Does your screen look very smudgy?

I can't really explain what I'm thinking of, I don't have a problem with the LCD itself, but on the surface of the screen it looks really smudgy, but in a weird way. My older phone or tablets screen had fingerprints of course, but it's different on the XL. You can't see it in the dark, but outdoors in the sun (even now in winter) I can barely see the screen because of it. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about if yours also loook like mine.
That's the only reason I use a screen protector, but I don't like the feel of the screen protector so I'd like to remove it.

I know what you mean, I'm facing that too. I think it's preety weird since my Defy from 2010 doesn't look like that at all when I use it.

And do you use some kind of screen protector or you just have to bare with it?
I bought an XtremeGuard screen protector and it looks better with it, but it feels sticky, and I don't know which one is worse.

I don't use a screen protector, since it reduces the touchscreen sensitivity. But it feels a little bit better with it.

That is because of screen is coated in a special way. Just learn to live with it or get a screen protector but then you will have to learn to deal with lowered sensitivity.

I already have a screen protector, and I have no problems with the lowered sensitivity, every one of my touch has been detected since I applied, but I wanted to peel it off because the surface of the protector feels sticky.
I'll probably just buy another screen protector, because I don't think I could live with that coating.

display rainbow with little pressure

hi guys ive noticed that when typing on the display without much pressure i get a rainbow affect only for the time im applying pressure just wondering does anyone else have this problem or am i developing a hardware problem
its a bit like applying pressure on my laptop display with not much force
Are you using a screen protector? If you are, is it possible the protector is not sitting right against the screen?
I have had two idol 3 phones and I didn't notice any rainbow affect on either phone.

ya i had a glass one installed removed it and still the same so thinking it maybe faulty
I used both phones with a glass protector and not problems with or without the protector.
Sounds like the top glass is not fully bonded to the lcd.
