No, la rom è solo per Wizard. Per quanto riguarda il discorso sul Treo 750 sinceramente non saprei nemmeno da dove iniziare... cmq su treo uscirà ufficialmente un upgrade a WM6 mentre l'HTC Wizard è già finito nel dimenticatoio

Congrats on this effort and (from what I can make out) appears to be a success We need to see more language ports (I have some coworkers in Europe that would love to have WM6 in their languages).

i'm using shelltool on a g4 to install but not working (my fault? faria WM6 and Crossbow flashed fine).

Suggerimento per la prox beta
Ciao Slump, vorrei suggerirti di aggiungere il java midlet manager nella tua prox beta: è utilissimo per chi, come me, usa Opera Mini (il miglior browser per cellulare mai utilizzato).
Inoltre, potresti usare un nome più carino per la cartella della cache di ie su SD? Io in genere uso:
\storage card\Program Files\IEM\Cache
\storage card\Program Files\IEM\History
\storage card\Program Files\IEM\Cookies
In questo modo non aggiungo altre cartelle sulla root della SD (tanto Program Files è la stessa creata dai programmi che installi, quindi in genere c'è sempre.)
PS: se hai dei MUI (o altre risorse) da tradurre e mi spieghi come si fa, lo posso fare io.

Provvederò per il midlet manager nella prossima build (è una delle due/tre cosette importanti (secondo me ovvio) che mi sono dimenticato da inserire...), per quanto riguarda il discorso della cache di IE è solo una questione di gusti cmq è abbastanza ben facile da risolvere.
Per i MUI io a questo punto aspetterei qualche giorno visto che dovrebbero iniziare a fare "capolino" le prime rom WM6 ufficiali in italiano e si possono prendere da li...

La sto provando proprio ora e mi sembra decisamente più veloce, ovviamente ci sono tantissime cose da sistemare.

Forse sarà più veloce (questa in effetti è un po' lentuccia) ma non credo sia più recente: è una 5.2.318 (build 15342) mentre questa è 5.2.1413 (build 17913). Faria tuttavia sostiene che la sua (cioé la 5.2.318) sia l'unica 'vera' rom usata da MS per testare wm6 su wizard e che le altre siano create a partire da file presi da rom per altri dispositivi. Mah... CMQ proverò anche l'altra.
Ora è capire dove concentrare gli sforzi...

Considerando che non si trovano rom in italiano con il touchflo abilitato, ho provato a cucinarmi una rom con la kitchen di faria in aggiunta alle traduzioni italiane rilasciate da slumpolo per la sua "carbonara kitchen", il tutto mixato ai cab,sys (6.1b) e rom(6.0) di theloon.
Il risultato è questo:

Questa rom "cucinata" non è supportata. La rilascia semplicemente per la mancanza di rom italiane con touchflo abilitato. A me questa release sembra abbastanza stabile, tuttavia non rilascerò altri aggiornamenti ne bugfix.
Prendetela cosi come è...una beta o come vi pare chiamarla.

Nice one Jordan, I tested this ROM for a while before back to Tomal's work. The ROM is fast but as far as I see the application uses as default path the internal storage space of Universal and I rushed quickly all the internal space.

ho riscaricato la rom;
prima di flashare ho rimesso su la rom wm5 originale;
Niente. Al 70% si inchioda e non c'è più nulla da fare.

è la stessa cosa do boot loader
Purtroppo il problema è con la tua 6.1
Mai avuto problemi a flashare 5, 6 o 6.1
bha molto strano usi il noid che sta nella cartella di goldrake????
io addirittura da palmare accessso e collegato senza neanche mettere in bootloader ho anciato il noid e mi ha fatto la scansione di che rom avevo... dopo i che ho dato avanti e ha finito tutto da solo
la trovo molto performante
al 70% si blocca
Niente.
Ho provato con diversi programmatori ma non va.
Riconosce la rom, parte a razzo nella programmazione e poi al 70% si pianta.
Lo so che è molto strano e vi assicuro che è la prima volta che mi capita una cosa del genere. Mai avuto problemi con qualsivoglia rom, anche con le più "strane".
Mica c'entra qualcosa col modello??

premi il pulsante power si spegne il monitor poi ripremi il power si accende il monitor e si illumina poi leva i mark dalle funzioni luminosità e rimettilo

it explains better what means you do not see the names to you
and me they are clear and complete
when receiving an incoming call, the "popup" on the screen that usually contains caller's name or number, was simply blank at all.
Unfortunately, I cannot test it anymore, since i'm currently trying other roms.

HOW TO INSTALL:
- Extract the files from the archive
- Run XP o VISTA Update utility. If doesn't work use the NoID utility
- Have patience during flash
- After first reboot please wait until Welcome screen appear
- Wait until customization finish
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE!
For some strange problem beam (infrarossi) is active by default. After install, goto "Setup Commanager" into "Sistema" folder, uncheck any selection (i suggest "Internet Sharing") and check "Beam" (infrarossi). Now open Commanager and turn OFF Beam!

PS: Qualcuno conosce il nome dell'applicazione che ti visualizza il livello della batteria come una riga colorata in alto nello schermo?

Formattala in FAT non FAT32, se non và soffia sulla fessura a me ogni tanto si impolvera e non fà contatto

Stò lavorando a un pacchetto manila e skin Opal, Quick menu e Google Maps li metto su un cab apparte se servono a qualcuno

L'ho tolto perchè a mio avviso è meglio usare Battery Status, il cui cab lo avete nel primo post!

è vero davvero un mito installato tomtom 7 va che è una meraviglia
complimenti per l'impegno a simonkjam, scusa la mia ignoranza ma non ho capito come devo disabilitare l'infrarosso!
Per disabilitare l'infrarosso devi andare in programmi - Setup ComManager - abiliti nella lista del comm manager il Beam (che è l'infrarosso) al posto di un altra opzione, poi vai nel Comm Manager e imposti il beam su Off, a questo punto torni nel Setup ComManager e rimetti la disposizione del Comm Manager come preferisci. Spero di essermi spiegato.

ho appena installato battery status, che non c'era nella rom, e neanche nel pack vanilla business....qualcuno saprebbe dirmi l'ultima versione disponibile?

Io utilizzavo la versione 1.05 di battery status, mi sembrava la più completa come opzioni, credo che l'ultima versione sia la 1.06. Ora l'ho tolta perchè preferisco Batti a battery status (i gusti sono gusti)
