Finally I got a Working WM6 Italian rom for HTC Wizard... rom is actually under test, probably will be a release next few days so don't PM me for rom.
Some "things" are not translated yet, see "Know Issues" for more infos.

No, la rom è solo per Wizard. Per quanto riguarda il discorso sul Treo 750 sinceramente non saprei nemmeno da dove iniziare... cmq su treo uscirà ufficialmente un upgrade a WM6 mentre l'HTC Wizard è già finito nel dimenticatoio

Congrats on this effort and (from what I can make out) appears to be a success We need to see more language ports (I have some coworkers in Europe that would love to have WM6 in their languages).

i'm using shelltool on a g4 to install but not working (my fault? faria WM6 and Crossbow flashed fine).
Sto provando ad installarlo su un g4 con shelltool ma non va (errore mio? faria WM6 e Crossbow flashati senza problemi)

Suggerimento per la prox beta
Ciao Slump, vorrei suggerirti di aggiungere il java midlet manager nella tua prox beta: è utilissimo per chi, come me, usa Opera Mini (il miglior browser per cellulare mai utilizzato).
Inoltre, potresti usare un nome più carino per la cartella della cache di ie su SD? Io in genere uso:
\storage card\Program Files\IEM\Cache
\storage card\Program Files\IEM\History
\storage card\Program Files\IEM\Cookies
In questo modo non aggiungo altre cartelle sulla root della SD (tanto Program Files è la stessa creata dai programmi che installi, quindi in genere c'è sempre.)
PS: se hai dei MUI (o altre risorse) da tradurre e mi spieghi come si fa, lo posso fare io.

Provvederò per il midlet manager nella prossima build (è una delle due/tre cosette importanti (secondo me ovvio) che mi sono dimenticato da inserire...), per quanto riguarda il discorso della cache di IE è solo una questione di gusti cmq è abbastanza ben facile da risolvere.
Per i MUI io a questo punto aspetterei qualche giorno visto che dovrebbero iniziare a fare "capolino" le prime rom WM6 ufficiali in italiano e si possono prendere da li...

Forse sarà più veloce (questa in effetti è un po' lentuccia) ma non credo sia più recente: è una 5.2.318 (build 15342) mentre questa è 5.2.1413 (build 17913). Faria tuttavia sostiene che la sua (cioé la 5.2.318) sia l'unica 'vera' rom usata da MS per testare wm6 su wizard e che le altre siano create a partire da file presi da rom per altri dispositivi. Mah... CMQ proverò anche l'altra.

Ora è capire dove concentrare gli sforzi...

Considerando che non si trovano rom in italiano con il touchflo abilitato, ho provato a cucinarmi una rom con la kitchen di faria in aggiunta alle traduzioni italiane rilasciate da slumpolo per la sua "carbonara kitchen", il tutto mixato ai cab,sys (6.1b) e rom(6.0) di theloon.
Il risultato è questo:

Questa rom "cucinata" non è supportata. La rilascia semplicemente per la mancanza di rom italiane con touchflo abilitato. A me questa release sembra abbastanza stabile, tuttavia non rilascerò altri aggiornamenti ne bugfix.
Prendetela cosi come è...una beta o come vi pare chiamarla.

Ecco ragazzi la versione 4.2b vanilla...Ha tutte le funzioni della 4.2 ma e vanilla quindi molto veloce,stabile e tutto funzionante insieme al wifi-bluetooth e gps!...Appena installata si hanno liberi 29.10 mb di RAM!

Con questa versione dovrei aver risolto vari errori che c'erano come il bluetooth,gps ecc! Penso di averli risolti una volta per tutti.Io ho provato il bluetooth e funziona correttamente mentre il gps e il wifi non so in quanto non posso testarli.Anche se alcuni mi hanno detto che il wifi funziona correttamente!

3)Estrai i file scaricati in una cartella a piacere
4)Spingi contemporaneamente sul palmare i pulsanti:backlight,power e pennino nel tastino del reset. Cosi entri nel bootloader e ti compare una scritta con scritto SERIAL
5)Attacca il cavo usb e ti comparira la scritta USB
6)Esegui il file " MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe " che sta nella cartella che hai creato. Vai sempre avanti e aspetta che il dispositivo si aggiorna. In genere ci mette 5 minuti. Una volta fatto ti avvisa e devi fare l'hard reset
7)Procedura per eseguirlo: spingi contemporaneamente i 2 tasti vicino ai pusanti per attaccare una chiamata o rispondere e il pennino nel tastino del reset. Se non hai capito quali sono questi pulsanti alla fine del completamente aggiornamento ti fa vedere un immagine con i tasti da spingere!
Una volta che avete installato i programmi che volete, eliminateli in modo da avere piu spazio nel vostro dispositivo!
Appena si avvia fate l'allineamento dello schermo e poi installate il cab allegato nell'archivio che serve per sbloccare la extended ROM. Ora potete installare i programmi inclusi in extrom e quelli in flashdisk. Appena finito eliminateli i cab dei programmi in modo da avere piu spazio libero!

La ROM sembra essere ok. Purtroppo io sto cercando di vendere il mio V1640 quindi se riesco a vendere non potrò provare le altre versioni.
Comunque continua così, se può farti piacere posso dirti che è la prima ROM non ufficiale italiana che ho flashato, e ti garantisco che ne ho provato tantissime qui su xda. Non sò perchè ma mi hai ispirato fiducia e comunque ti sei basato su una delle ROM che mi piaceva di più.

Alcuni commenti sulla ROM che sto testando: manca l'utility per il soft overclocking del JasJar, comodissima, e soprattutto avrei integrato alcuni certificati non presenti nella versione originale della ROM (provando ad aggiornare un Jas brandizzato vodafone viene segnalata l'impossibilità di installare i package per problemi di certificato).
Per il resto la traduzione è ben fatta, complimenti!

velocissime e leggerissime entrambe le versioni.
la basic è iperlight in fatto di ram occupata...ripulita dai soliti reg e lnk superflui in avvio...
unico problema sono gli sms.
li ho ripristinato con pimbackup cosa che ho sempre fatto con successo...tranne che con questa rom, li vedo solo con il manila?!?!?!?!?
e se mi arriva un nuovo sms non ne so nulla se non passando al tab del manila...
qualcuno ha avuto il mio stesso problema?

iolite official ROM.. There are some tutorial that explain howto translate a ROM.

io uso la 1.65.24.36 (niki) e mi trovo benissimo, anche la 1.70.19.09 (kaiser) dovrebbe andare bene... le trovi qui

problema sms
Uso la ROM basic e mi vengono tranquillamente notificati i nuovi sms in arrivo e li leggo tranquilamente sia da manila che dall'applicazione messaggi.
Unica cosa non vedo i messaggi inviati da me perchè manca la cartella POSTA INVIATA in sms, per il resto nessun problema

ciao shifu,hai fatto veramente una rom spettacolare ma il problema degli sms l'ho riscontrato sia con la ver.basic che con la plus,non c'e la cartella dei messaggi inviati e non ho usato nessun pim backup,non avendone avuto necessita; altra cosa riscontrata bisogna aggiungere il mittente del mess andando a ricercarlo con aggiungi mittente e non piu dal menu tendina inserendo solamente l'iniziale della lettera corrispondente al contatto.e per ultimo non riesco ad eliminare i contatti doppi nemmeno con il kaisersimfix,ne aprofitto per ringraziarti dell'ottimo lavoro ke hai fatto e veramente stupefacente grz

con touchflo disattivato e riavviate, funzionerà tutto
EDIT Per risolvere il problema delle cartelle mancanti negli SMS dovrebbe essere sufficiente seguire le istruzioni di tutto il post che ho linkato sopra, avevano lo stesso problema in un altra rom
PS Quest'ultima parte (quella delle cartelle) non l'ho testata ancora quindi non so dirvi se ci sono problemi

I've a Dutch Kaiser and I have an official ROM available.
How to combine these together to get a nice new Kaiser ROM (like your ROMS)?

Visto che interessa a noi italiani...
2 cose al momento ho notato, una meno importante, non funziona il suggerimento delle parole durante scrittura, una seconda più importante, ho notato che eseguendo e chiudendo vari programmi la ram non viene rilasciata completamente e ben presto si esaurisce... a questo punto non saprei però se è un problema della rom o della mia unità. Succede anche a voi?

-il suggerimento lo levato io, ho ritenuto che non sia molto di intersse o poi mi serve spazio per eventuali agg. sw ,al momento mi rimane meno di 800k disponibili
- si cerca di usare di + freeup ram o hibernate, attiva chiudi tutto con la x e un consiglio se non l'ai gia fatto installa sktool
al momento è il massimo che vi posso dare

strano fai nuovamente sw reset (reset schiacciato + tasto luce) 2e 3 voce yes tasto centrale pad e aspetta il reboot deve girare tutto
to repeat sw reset
key reset + key 3 light to hold pressed 2 and voice yes key centers them pad to wait for the reboot

New V7 - I hope my last hard reset for next months...
Thank you very much GoldK. I was in holiday and I spend a lot of time with my uni. I prefer your ROM but I had find a lot of problems with connection.
I use Radio 3.18 with TIM. A very strange problem is that after turn off my Uni for about 1 hour (or 30 min,...), i cannot use GPRS/UMTS connection and I have to reset.
I don't know why but with this problem I'm not sure that I can use this.
What about your V7 version? the major problems for me are:
1) GPRS/UMTS connection not allowed after Uni turned off (I have to soft-reset the ppc)
2) the Ram is not released (i have to use FreeUpRam and others...)
3) sometimes the open programs are automaticly closed (is strange but a lot of uni rom from this site have the same problem)
I will install this night (CET), I will send you my feedback. Thank you!!

prova questa rom è leggermente + leggera sono stati levati dei software che ritenevo poco utili

la radio che usi è 1.18 perchè 3.18 non so cosa sia, i prblemi che mi ha segnalatoio non li ho riscontrati al momento non sò
