Force Retrieving MMS Message - General Topics

Can anyone help with what I hope is a simple problem.
I've had my phone (Polaris) sat in my USB all morning and received an MMS Message from a client.
Because my phone was connected through USB, it hasn't connected to the O2 servers to download it.
I've now disconnected my phone, and I'm been shown that I have 1 SMS, 1 MMS in my inbox, but nothing is there!
Is there a way to force my phone to connect to the MMS servers at O2 and retrieve the message?

I have had this same problem on AT&T, and at times it just can't download it when it does show up.

Receiving MMS when synching?

I pretty much leave my 2125 hooked to my PC all day since i constantly get outlook updates and such.
The problem i have is when i get a MMS message it wont download it when the cable is connected, i get SMS messages just fine. If i disconnect the cable and download the message it works fine.
The last version of activsync gives you the option to allow MMS receving while sync after installing
i have it checked to "allow wireless connection when connected to the desktop", but it still will not send or receive MMS when its connected. Is there an update to active synch 4.5 or something?
Well I reinstalled activesync few hours ago. I have a HTC tornado (Qtek 8310) and last 3.7 rom.
When activesync finished to install it told me if I wanted to allow MMS while sync, I said yes. And I sent two mms and received one since and cable was connected and it worked fine. I'm receiving emails and everything is sync at the same time.
I suggest you reinstall activesync and make sure to check the option when the install is finish.
Good luck.

Keeps connecting to get phantom MMS...

I've posted tihs here 'cause I think it could be a cross phone problem.
Got a WM6 Trinity.
While I has viewing an MMS, the phone blocked and I had to soft reset it.
Ever since then, the MMS I was reading desapieard. Vut every now and then the phone tries to connect to mms server to get it!
I can send and receive other MMSs, but every now and then it connects, does nothing and keeps itself connected!

Sms not working?

Hi all...
I was wondering if people more experienced could help me with a strange problem.
I can't seem to send or receive sms'es. When I send an sms, nothing happens, and the message just sits there in the "Outbox".
When I send an sms to myself (from another phone), the phone WAKES UP, but no message shows up. So obviously the phone is receiving the message but it's not showing up? Maybe it's being blocked somewhere?
I've checked my settings, sms is set to send via GSM and the service center number is correct.
Also to confirm - I've tried hard-reset and the phone received sms'es fine.
But as soon as I reload my backup, it no longer receives/shows the sms'es being received. So something is block the sms from showing up. What program/setting would it be?
After installing slick, palringo, taptapsms, incoming sms not stored
I noticed the day after installing IM client, named slick, palringo and opening tapsms, i cant see my incoming sms after it comes..
it shows the notification 1 message unread, after i open it, i just see the history of sms of the same sender got bold, but only with old message, theres no new sms.. ( cant find the new received sms )
I've reset the phone, unplug the battery, its still the same..
anyone have a clue ?
I used WM 6.1 on my XDA IIs
Thanks.

Auto send sms/mms when connection restored??

Any way for WM6.1 messaging to auto resend SMS/MMS if the message is originally sent when there is no phone connection and it is later restored?
I used to have a Motorola phone that prompted something like "Data connection not available. Do you wish to resend when connection is restored?" This would resend it if there was a connection without any actions from me.
I travel in places with no connection (like in subway). With my Moto, i was able to write a text message, set it for auto send, and would find that it would send if/when i momentarily had a connection while moving. This freed me from having to monitor my "bars" for a connection to send text.
I was wishing for the same thing. I've had 3 blackberries & the all do this. Pretty sad that WM6.1 doesn't.

Messaging hub - constant delay/disconnect?

Whenever i start using MSN chat or Facebook chat on the messaging hub using wifi, i will only be receiving chat messages for the first 5 minutes. After that, no more messages come through.
I know my wifi is on because its connected to the power supply, even if i set the locked screen to never, i can never get a constant flow of chat messages after a few minutes. The only way to start receiving again is by switching off/on wifi...
I know im not receiving anymore messages because i have my computer MSN logged in (and it is receiving messages still but no on phone side)
I know im connected to the internet still when i stopped receiving messages (because i go into IE to see if it still works)
...SO WTF??????
(ps. i seem to be getting the same trouble with 3G as well)
