Error 0x80072f78 - Palm Treo 750

Has anyone a solution to this error
When I try to use Internet Explorer on My Treo via USB through my laptop, which is connected to the internet, I get this error 0x80072f78.
I used to be able to download my SPB Weather info while connected but recently this has stopeed working as well.
I have tried the registry tweak, no help.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services]
"AllowLSP"=dword:00000000
I Hard reset my device today and once up and running, I was able to download weather info via USB, but as soon as I tried to use Internet Explorer, it stop allowing me to use the USB to download weather info again.
I am able to get email, and use Minimo via USB.
Is there a solution?

I partly solved my problem.
Hard Reset and don't try and use Internet Explorer to access the internet while connected to the USB.
Now SPB Weather connects via USB.

You have to install Activesync and will be done. Driver is installed with ActiveSync.
Try this version of AS...

Internet sharing from your Universal to an XP PC
I had looked for a solution for this for some time, I then tried the following option, which required my computer to be connected to the internet initially, I hope it works for you.
Enable Internet Sharing in your Universal, plug it into your internet enabled XP computer with the normal USB cable (Active Sync if installed should disable and lose it's green colour) your computer at this time should be looking for new hardware drivers, if you enable the option for it to look for drivers on the Microsoft site automatically (this takes some time for your computer to search the microsoft site and find the driver), then it sholud find it.
After the hardware driver successfully installs (forgive me I don't remember the name, it had 'idvendor & modem' somewhere in it) then you should be able to unplug your ethernet cable, USB internet connection, disable your wireless which every it is you use, and as long as you computer is set up correctly (I think automatically acquire DNS and IP , the default or standard settings found in networking should be fine) then you should be able to go through the whole process again and this time your computer has the right drivers and will be able to utilise internet connection sharing through your Universal channeling it through to all programs on you computer
It worked well for me, I had my work station on this internet sharing connection through my Universal and unlimited T-Mobile web&walk for 2 weeks, because when we moved our ISP could not initiate ADSL for that period, everyone in the office would use it and it was constantly logged in to remote exchange server, several instant messaging protocol
and surfed the net easily
Could you please tell me, how do I Enable Internet Sharing on my Universal, i have looked for a way to do it but I cannot find any setting or something similar.

Hi, you'll need to find Internet Connection Sharing cab or installer, it is very likely linked to on XDA Developers if you want to do a search, it might even be down loadable from Microsoft's site!
If any one finds one could they post a link?

Windows Mobile Sync (Vista) not connecting

I've tried this on Two machines now and it's doing my head in.
I have a Tytn II running Dutty's latest rom. Everything I try to connect the Network USB Connection comes up but the Windows Mobile Device Center doesn't connect. MyMobile which I have to autoconnect does connect.
I've tried changing the to the USB connection in the USB to PC section of the control panel on the device. I've found that if I delete the Network Connection via Device Manager (on the PC) and then reconnect the device it then works but fails the next time.
I've found that if I terminate all the Windows Media Player instances before connecting then it works but then disconnects. I've tried rebuilding the WMP database on the PC so I'm now a bit stuck. How can I fix this so that it works semi-reliably?

[Q] Getting Internet on Windows Mobile 6.1 via Bluetooth, the PC OS is Windows 7

Hi, I have been struggling for days, to try to get internet on my Smartphone via Bluetooth on my Desktop PC, is Data is massivly Expensive in this country. Whenever I go to Connetions > add new connection for Bluetooth, and I add a new Device, I see my Desktop PC there. However when I see the services, all I see is Activesync, I select that, push save, and it just goes back to add a new device again. I also tried, to connect via the Bluetooth PAN Device, on my PC, and I choose connect using access point, it gives me an error. "The connection with the Bluetooth Device failed. The device may be already connected to another computer, or it may be need to be configured to accept connections from this computer. Consult your device documentation for further information.
Please can someone help me?
Thanks

[Q] Sync Problem

Hey everybody!
I searched all over the Internet for an answer, even sent an email to htc, but my problem wasn't solved.
I have this connection problem with my HTC TYTN 2. When I connect it to my PC, my PPC starts charging, but on my desktop I get no notification at all that a device has been connected. I installed Active Sync, HTC Sync, and still didn't find anything. What could this possibly be? I managed to connect my PPC through wireless and using WIFI Remote (a PPC app). But I need an USB connection so that I can fully use it. Please help me, I've tried everything (I think)

Updating Apps via Zune

Hi,
How can I update my Marketplace apps via USB/Zune. Everytime I click on Marketplace with the USB/Zune connected, it says sync complete please disconnect.
Also when I am connected via USB to my PC, does the phone use the PC's internet connection?
Thanks

HTC Titan
Why not just update them on the phone? Use WiFi if they are big and/or your data plan is very limited, but no need to do it on the PC...
Access to the WP7 Marketplace was removed from the PC Zune software (it's possible to get it back, but something of a hack). However, the phone does still lock the full media library, which is integrated with the Marketplace, while connected.
If you really want to connect the phone to the PC (which does use the PC's Internet connection, so long as it's actually connected and not merely charging), but also want the media library unlocked, there's a tool called ConnectWP.exe that is just for that. You have to sync with Zune first. Look up online to see how to use it.
I agree, they won't allow Zune to access the Marketplace or WP apps.
You can update using WIFI/Data or if you hook your phone to your computer and exit out of Zune after it starts you should be able to access the internet on your phone. I love that feature!
thanks, how can you tell that it is using the PC internet connection when connected via USB?
