TNT.Kitchen based on Kaiser_Kitchen by _Alex_ (All my OEM's) - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

Hi,
at the begin, i want to give all credits to _Alex_ for his kitchen and i want to tell you all that "This kitchen is _Alex_ kitchen with integrating All packages to one by bepe"
if you are beginner, just visit this
if you tried kaiser kitchen before, just read the edit directly and download.
What i did:
- Fully supports all_packages_to_one.exe by bepe (which give the ability to combine all dsm files into one dsm file, so Windows directory contains just one dsm file).
- All packages arranged to be easily updaeted.
- Useful registries included.
- SYS and ROM based on 19202 by nothrills.
i hope you will find something in this small thing .
you can download it from: http://rapidshare.com/files/108164052/TNT.19202_Full_Kitchen.rar
The kitchen is missing Rom Folder, Download it from the link: http://rapidshare.com/files/114997569/19202_Kaiser_Rom_folder_for_TNT.kitchen.rar
Credits:
_Alex_ for his kitchen.
Bepe for his all_packages_to_one tool (and ofcourse for every thing he did in the forums).
Nothirills for the base rom.

Thanks for sharing !
Does it include XIP porting too ?

Kaiser still needs manually xip porting, as bepe reported that his tools can't work in kaiser and polaris.
while kaiser always has the latest builds which come already ported, all you need is to extract XIP, ROM and SYS folders and then use the same OEM you want (ofcourse you need relocate modules tool which is in development forum)
in general, you need to have a look into OEM folders in this kitchen to rearrange any new release as the arrangment in this kitchen, so it is easier.
good luck.

Thanks anyway

Does the OEM Packages provided contain the Packages you use to cook your ROMs?
I love the work you and your team do.

Hi,
I'm starting cooking and learning.
I have read and search but this step is really not clear in my head
So excuse me in advance for this question.
So I would like to add some modules (made with resersmode) in an Original OEM Kaiser Rom (eg the NoThrills WM 6.1 WWE) that has been extracted into OEM and SYS folder and XIP using the Kitchen and then rebuild and flash.
- does I need to port something or modify the XIP as this is an original Kaiser XIP ?
- does I need to only copy my new modules to the SYS folder and reallocate all modules using G'Reloc ?
- does is it needed to make something particular with the original XIP (reallocating, ...) when adding modules ?
Thanks in advance.

for kaiser, you have to learn how to port XIP manually.
but if there is a ready kitchen (as linked here) you don't need to do anything, just add and remove the packages in OEM folder.
in case of adding other modules in OEMDrivers, you need to use GReloc which is in development forum and read the comments mentioned there.
I hope that i gave you some of useful informations.
good luck

good luck, I'm sure we will see your touches soon .

please give us the ROM folder. Thanks

The ROM folder is uploaded

The 1st try with this kitchen worked perfectly. I cooked a rom that supports Chinese R/W, adding a lot more OEM packages. The ROM is fast and almost flawless, thanks.

Got the rom folder and did g'relocate and cooked the rom and flashed it, got to the second splash screen and the touch screen froze on "tap to set up your device". However, activesync connected to the phone and i was able to flash a known rom to recover. Any idea what i did wrong? I made no changes to OEM or anything else. Could it have something to do with the touch.dll or such, or maybe i got the slot addresses wrong?

Is there a WM6 Rom Kitchen for the Wizard?

I have seen a lot of releases of ROM Kitchen, but not for the wizard.
So, here's my question: is there a WM6 Kitchen of the wizard publicly released out there? I'm not talking about Molski's Dev Pack (which is a great collection of tools, but misses the package management stuff).
I'm talking about something like the ROM Kitchen released by bepe for the Hermes http://cleanimport.xda/index.php?threads/298636/...
Over the past months, I have been building my very own WWE kitchen for the Wizard and fixing registry settings at the package level (rather than patching after it).
If there is interest, I could release it...
Let me know.

It's very simple to cook your own kitchen.
I don't know wht are you waiting for? Try to cook it by yourself and take tytn's kitchen as example.

For the uninitiated, can you explain a bit more. Take my example, I am a noobie and have flashed plenty of times. But anything more and my mind registers a blank. But I would like to tread this "cooking rom" path as the next step.
Thanks for the information. "A step-by-step guide to forming your own kitchen and cooking roms for consuption" would be just great.
ya let it come, for now i use molski kitchen for rom cooking.

That's what I did originally.
Then I discovered the Scoter Kitchen, which is based on bepe's tools too.
Nice thing about the scoter kitchen are the dmp2pkg and pkg2dmp tools which I have not found in another kitchen so far (at least in the ones I looked at).
That kitchen it also great, because it comes with documentation in html included and plenny other tools to work on the XIP segments...
They are nice as you can re-build the packages from the DSM files (like DSMTool previously) and recreate your dump directory with pkg2dmp (like BuildOS).
At this point, I don't know what is better: pkg2dmp or BuildOS. I have yet to port the packages I extracted from Orwell and modified,
to the bepe Kitchen to compare (not too difficult, just that I was focusing on something else).
Regards,
--eluth.
Any WM5 Kitchen will work for WM6. I really dont see the build diffrence between the 2 as far as building. I use the files attached and they work fine for me. No walk through as I havent had time to write it down.
Basically it works like this though:
Step 1. Run dump.bat
Step 2. Modify the files in the working directory.
Step 3. Add files to dump folder (not what you find in working directory, thats automatic in Step 4.
Step 4. Run make.bat.
Pretty simple i think. All these are pulled together from other posts so if you have questions just read. LOL. You can also just PM me but remember I am kinda busy and might not reply very quickly.
Unable to upload to site so have to use rapidshare for this one. sorry guys.

This looks great, I only have two questions, any issues in building the ROM or adding packages that have already had tadzio tools applied?
In your opening post you mentioned that you are able to use with any device with small modifications, what are these for a Hermes if any?
Thanks again for the new toy!
BTW, looks very professional and I love the web site, great explanations.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IT'S ORIGINALLY MADE FOR THE HTC WIZARD
I KNOW THAT IT WORKS ON OTHER TOO WITH LITTLE MODDIFICATIONS BUT I SUGGEST TO ASK ME FOR A VERSION SPECIFFICALLY.

None that i know of. It shouldn't have any problems.
But i strongly reccomend that if you don't have a HTC Wizard to ask before you try and do anything.
It's written also in the tutorial
I don't take credit for some of the applications that are included in this kitchen ... like bepe's package tool , tadzio's modified mamaich tools...and of course some of the 3rd party apps.
I take the credit only for the whole thing....i busted my ass of to gather all that and make them easy to use
The moddifications :
Almoust all programs are included already. I would only have to edit some batchfiles to use other programs or other commands for same.
If you know what you are doing, you could use it yourself
For Hermes there are some neat stuff in Tools\TTools - thx to tadzio of course
We use one RUU you use another....stuff like that
One friend of mine built an Terra ROM with this...it's not that hard

Hermes Please
First question, tried to dump ROM and I am getting an error
Error ! There is no nk.nbf in the core/extract/source
I place the ROM NBH in that folder, originally was name RUU_signed.nbh, I tried to rename to nk.nbh, didn't matter.
I am using a hermes.

I will, give me little time to sleep lol
I will made moddifications for
HTC Herald / Terra/Wing
and I will do it for the Hermes too, but be litle patient.
You should use the "Dump nb and bin" and use the "Extra" way
The HTC Wizard uses a nk.nbf ..not a nbh. so...extract the .nb and run it thru the Dump nb and bin ... the extra option
You could extract the .nb with the little app in Tools\TTools\Tadzio\ ROMBaker.exe
You have to rename the *.nb into OS.nb and move it into Extract\ folder
It will split....but you won't be able to make it back unless you edit the
C:\Core\Tools\Batch\Create_ROM.bat according to your device....

The .nbh has to be extracted by nbhextract.exe in "tools" folder. then you will recieve os.nb, splash.nb, spl.nb etc
the os.nb can be placed in "extract" folder and then dump it by using "dump .nb and .bin" from extract panel.
lol

I cooked a terra rom with this - by using the wingdump imgf_raw.bin and the xip from terra rom. you dump the rum by using "dump .nb and .bin"
The only mistake i did - was editing the .hv files BUT i forgot to convert the boot.rgu back and that bricked my device.
But you can cook a rom. YOu only have to use PKT "manually". That´s all. Just follow the steps from the kitchen.
I cooked for example a terra rom without transcriber, autoupdate und included batterystatus and totalcommander - no problems with this, when using Aserg upgrade_rom.bat for falshing.
BTW - do you have an official WWE ROm for flashing - if something goes wrong? OK - it will be WM5 then but you can flash?
good luck.

I wouldn't test it on my phone because I don't have it CID Unlocked and couldn't risk it getting bricked as Tmobile hasn't released the official rom for download yet but i'll see what I can do as into building a rom. If you get a free chance this week, wanna walk me through it?
Glad to see you are providing my tiny initflashfiles generator. You added a great functionnality with the automated cab extraction. Well done !
So if I understand this correctly, if someone posted their dump from the Wing I could proceed to cook and flash to my unbranded P4350 using Aserg's method without the possibility of bricking since i have the official HTC WWE that I can re-flash?

For the wing dump you need the XIP from terra dump - but you find it in the Wing-dump thread from Herald forum.
And yes - you can cook - if you have an official rom. SO no worry to brick - you can go back to WM5. lol
Have a try. BUT you must use the "manual" way from PKT. Just follow all teh steps from kitchen. And use the "Dump .nb and .bin" from extract panel.

So just to check I under stand this..
I went thorugh the the install instructions OK but the bit that confused me was...
Extract the OEM Package folder included within the ROM thread to \kaiserkitchen\packages
I assume you have to manually create a sub-folder called packages under
\kaiserkitchen\ ??
But then what is the use of the OEM_HTCxxx folder?? What if anything goes in there??
So then, if I unzip all the OEM cab files into the \kaiserkitch\packages folder (OR any other OEM packages I can find , especially HTC packages) then when Ervius runs - I should see all the packages I copied to the \kaiserkitch\packages folder???
Many Thanks for your tutorials - it's really nice to see people sharing their knowledge!!
Cheers

Not really good at reconstructing ROMs, but the errors you're receiving about duplicate DSMs, you'll need to find the duplicate folder and/or file and delete it.
You might be able to get more help in the reconstructing ROMs thread stickied at the top of the forums.
Hope this helps.

Hi Alex,
My mistake I though I had got these files..
Just one more question. I have deconstructed Dutty's latest ROM. There are a few 'OEM' packages in the SYS folder that I would like to add to your base ROM one being a folder called HTC Touchflo Cube.
I have set up another kitchen folder with your Alex base ROM, now where would I put the additional Dutty extracted folders eg HTC Touchflo Cube folder?
Do I simply add the additional Dutty extracted OEM packages to the SYS (Alex) folder? or do I add it under (Alex) packages??
Many Thanks for your patience

Extracting OEM packages from other people's cooked ROMs isn't that easy which is why it's not covered in this tutorial. I also don't like doing it because it's somewhat stealing...
You may have better luck following my steps in my OEM Package Tutorial, and convert the htc touch cube cabs to OEM packages.
Here are some links for HTC touch cube cabs:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=348437 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=343583
Hi Alex - I didn't think of that, I didn't realise that the ROM author had made their own OEM packages..
Anyway, in that case, I will have a go at generating a OEM package for coreplayer, I assume that I will add this package in the kaiserkitchen\packages folder? (Not SYS etc..)
Cheers
John

after klicking the GO Button, i have many line´s of:
package "XXXXXXX" does not contain .rgu file "xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.rgu"
not all, but a few... is this normal??
EDIT On:
All is great... my first GER cooked ROM run I´m so happy

Yes, not all packages contain rgu or registry entries. No worries there.

Yup, it all goes in packages.
FWIW, The Core Player Media Player (TCPMP) exists as a OEM package for the freeware version and can be found as 'Pocket Media Player' within the OEM packages included within the Kaiser ROM Kitchen by jcespi2005.

From other threads, I've heard that extract will not work in Vista. I can't say about cook or flash until I get a chance to test it.
Hope this helps...

That is a ROM, not a KITCHEN.
Nixeus, I had already answered your question a couple of times in the past.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467488
I have seen your answer Dsixda, and than for this !
I knwo the Platformerebuilder kitche, but i would like to find an "old" kitchen with only the two batch ( buildnb.bat) and createrom
You can look for Beep's platformrebuilder. I use with multilenguage and multisystem and works goooood!!
Hi,
I have make a kitchen with PlateformeRebuilder, and my ELF don't boot .
I have already make a lot of wm6.1 rom with no problem, but in wm6.5 my elf don't booot.
Will be it possible than a person could share a wm6.5 kitchen for elf with oem, rom, and sys folder ?
It's not for publish my rom, but just in order to understand why my rom don't boot.
It will very great and nice to you
Thanks a lot,
Regards,
Nixeus

Ok, I can give you my kitchen with various sys in WM 6.5, but i need to upload and send you a link by mp, maybe on monday ok? Do you need the OEM instead? I work in 0C0A and just have a basic OEM in 0409
It's very nice to you !
I work in 040C ( french) but it's not a problem
Thanks a lot !!!
hello humrod,
Thanks a lot for your kitchen.
Unfortunately i have an runtime error, it appear there is an error in a folder
Have you try to run the .bat with the 0409 file ?
Thanks a lot
Yes, in fact i cooked a 0409 rom and flash it in my touch, and flash well.
ok
So i don't understand why i have this error, according to the serahc engin on xda, this error is here because of an error in SYS or oem, or PKG, or ROm
Let's resume:
I give you Sys/OEM/ROM/ext folders, right?
You download the kitchen from Bepe's (dark forces team), rigth?
You actualize the Platformrebuilder.exe, right?
as i said, the runtime error becomes a xip error (rom folder), or maybe a payload error. Discharge others, because before send you the files, i probe to build a rom (0409 of course) and flash it on my elfin.
Did you change anything? did you use your old kitchen?
If you did all this, i suggest you ask bepe's directly.
Now i remember, just in case, if you edit wrong the BuildRom.bat cuold have this error.
Hello
I have use the plateforme rebuilder downloaded from the darforceteam website.
I don't have mae changes in the kitchen. Just run the.bat !
That's why i think there is a problem in the rom folder.
best Regards,
Nixeus

Ok nixeus, maybe the problem is there. I sent you an edited bat with the patches to the folders in the structure i use. this bat is prepared too to work with the platformrebuilder.exe update
Humm ok, but,why i want to do ?
Sorry nixeus, i don't understand your question. Can you explain a little more?
oups, sorry, my question was : what i want to do ? ( I repeat thaht i didn't jave modify the .bat )
Thanks a lot
Ok, i'll upload the hole kitchen and send you the link. Then you can compare the files.
Well friend, here is it. You have to put all the files (the ones i send you before) and this ones in a nwe folder in C:
With this you obtain a basic 21806 wm 6.5 rom in 0409
I sugest you to keep this original, and copy the same with other name, it will work Ok, like other kitchen, and meka your changes there.

Hey,
Thanks a lot my friend.
The rom build with no problem
Flash in progress
I can now try to understand why my kitchen didn't boot.
Thanks a lot for your help humrod
