Intro:
Well this is the fourth release of SNN. This time around I will be creating two versions of this rom, LITE and FULL.
The first of the two will be the LITE version, it's basically a stripped down version of the stuff I normally include in my releases. The Lite version is more or less something similar to an offical release with only necessary apps included. It is by far the BEST for speed and stability out of my releases up to date.
The second release will be the FULL version, which will basically be everything that I have included in my previous releases. I will upgrade apps to the most recent release where applicable.
So as always, I would recommend giving my ROM a try and feedback is always appreciated.

INTRO:
Alright all, this is the FULL version of SNN. It has all the usual apps that were included in my previous releases. I also upgraded some of the apps that are used within this ROM. Again, because of the base rom, this release is better than 2.0 in terms of speed and stability. Feedback is always requested and thanks for lookin' into this release. -Newbie1221
Bugs/Fixes:
Removed WMP: I experienced intermitent problems with song playback( sometimes plays full song, other times it won't) so i just took it out Still haven't found the culprit of this issue but still working on it.
Remedy: You can use TCMP or Coreplayer as your video/music player, most of you already do anyways. These cabs are in post #3. Audio Manager is included to play all your music files.
SNN FULL VERSION 3.0:
Program Memory: Around 27 MB first boot. Normal use 22-25 MB depending.
Storage Memory: Total 47.46 MB In USE 4.12 MB Free 43.34 MB.
Want more free program memory? Use WST in post #3 and change your pagepool.

Recommended cabs and fixes
Coreplayer: Substitue for Windows Media Player. It can be installed on storage card to save internal memory although installing to your device is best practice for stability.
WST Windows Service Tool: An all purpose app for the wizard. Can read and alter some device settings. Most useful for changing page pool to free up program memory space. INFO and DOWNLOAD here.
NOTE: Default pagepool of these ROMs are set at 8. I am personally running FULL version with pagepool set at 4 and have 30 MB free at first boot and about 28 MB free at normal operation.
TCMP The Core Media Player: Another media player. Can play video and music. Size is smaller than Coreplayer although layout is not as "flashy".
HTC Home Customizer: Best app for customizing the HTC Home Plug-in. There are multiple themes and icons to pick from to make your phone all your own. Download from HERE.

This release is just the lite version, i have not released the full version of my rom on this build yet. So alot of the apps aren't included just yet. You could still stay with the 2.1 version of my rom. On the FULL release i am going to update all the apps that i have and make it as bug free as possible. I just wanted to release a lite version of my rom because some people pm'ed me requesting one. I know it was kinda quick but this is a much quicker/stable base for me to build upon.
oh okay... thats cool... but is there a estimated release time?
Would you please tell us where does the Build 5.2.19209 ported from? Is it a real WM6.1?

This ROM is much faster than 2.0. I like the slimmed down version and have added some additional stuff I need. Very nice and fast! Great work!
The only thing I really missed was having the network wizard to configure Cingular settings...but just used the cab. I like this one better than the full feature 2.0 just due to the speed!

Well my understanding is that this build was a test rom is from AT&T. The rom itself was from the kaiser forum, Villaboy25 ported it for the wizard. Here is more info about the build. CLICK HERE

Thanks ip-rob, I will redo the lite version and include network wizard in it. The speed of the FULL version in 3.0 is much better as well. You should give it a try some time.
hey newbie, I havent tried this ROM yet... I am kind of attached to the 2.0 maybe because I put so much time and effort customizing it to the way I want, but one thing that I feel that you should have changed with this one was the CAPS and Secondary indicators, the last one didnt have any and I didnt know if I was in symbol mode or not.
and maybe an uninstall option for some things we think we might not want or need.

Please Read Things to Know:
1. This Rom has not got midlet manager so you need to install one before trying to run any midlet applications.
2. You just need to Flash Rom, hard reset, wait for customisation to finish.
3. To activate cube please run Ftouchflo.config in Touchflo Folder and enable Ftouchflo in general tab. To de-activate the cube just do the reverse.
For useres who wants to re-align thier screen after set up.
To fix screen alignment:
1. Run touchflo.config in Touchflo folder and untick in general tab enable touchflo this will ask you to soft reset your device. after soft reset you can then re-align your screen. to activate cube again just enable ftouchflo in touchflo.config again.
Reason is there is a conflict with ftouchflo running which stops the screen alignment configuring properly

Thanks to all the Pros out there who made it possible for us to flash our kaisers i.e POF, OLIPRO, HELMI_C for his quick break through of roms and everyone who else who contributed to the kaiser community.
This Rom is optimised for speed and stability I havent tested it for long so I'm not sure what bugs are there.
Bugs Reported so far:
IN THE RTM VERSION I have updated S2U2 TO 0.85 upon first boot it shows an error just click ok and that will be it. I still can't figure why its happening that's why I didnt update it before but it runs ok after that.

I grew tired of the Tilt build so i'll probably be flashing this cause it gives me something to do at work. Another thing do you happen to know what you set your page pool at if there is one? No AT&T Drivers in this Rom. I have used the latest one from the latest 1.83 release.

Will this be in one executable file like most of them or are we going to have to add this rom to another program to get it to install? I looked at some of your other Rom's and they looked 2 complicated to install. I probably did something wrong because I have been flashing for a while but I have not attemted to cook or combine.

I don't understand all you need to do is to download, extract using winrar or winzip go into extracted folder and click on kaiser ruu

romsetting is just another you can use to customise the htc 6 button comm manager. over a week only. lol

hi mate I didnt add it in this release as to be honest I forgot and also thought that this could be installed by cab.

I didnt get time to test this out fully but most of my Roms are made the same so hopefully I didnt lft anything out.
I use the drivers from the latest htc 1.83 release for testing purpose only to see if there is any difference in speed and stability.

you should add information, if there's extrom, or splashes(my roms have not ANY thing but OS).
Questions:
Is the opera mini that is included in the rom a "signed app" so that it does not prompt the user each time they want to access the net? Did you use the info here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=347689 to make OM the default browser? Do you have shortcuts that call OM directly? It's something like ' \windows\jbed.exe "_s0" ' and lastly...have you tested to see if the version of OM in the rom can be upgraded via cab by a newer (or older if newer is not available) version via cab without error?

No, Opera in the Rom is not signed. I will post an update cab for that. Thanks for the info Yes, as u can see in the screenshots, Opera is opened directly. I've also put a nice icon for that shortcut
and, of cource, if you want any oem package, feel free to ask. It's a strong base so any preferences or changes to the rom for the next version are welcomed.

and you forgot to inculde teh Caps/Dot Registry Tweak
lol No biggie... reg wizard fixed it... wow used reg wizard after so long
and when you open modaco nodata..... i get error msg saying
"an un expectped error has occured in nodata.exe"

Modaco Nodata gives you that eror because you haven't defined/configured any Connections in Settings - connections ( any modem connections to be precise )

Hello. is your phone CID Unlocked ? G3 ? etc ? if so, simply download the rar file from rapidshare and run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and you are done

- added the long-awaited option to lock/dismount card only when USB cable is actually attached (so when you will disconnect the device, it will automatically see the card again, without the need to deactivate WM5torage).

- GUI is slightly modified according to Microsoft guidelines for better support of landscape and small-screen devices
As you can see this new version have a lot of new improvement and also in the previews beta version looks more stable to mount and unmount the cards.
About the compression:
You can talk with everyone here in forum, compress file, not ever is a good ideia.
So, if you have a LOT of free space i think more interest you include the not copressed files.
But this is a SUGESTION, a SUGESTION for you!!
you can do your testes and see what is more interest for your rom

Regarding Office compressed, seems to work just fine only exe's are compressed. if anyone reports problems, i'll release an uncompressed version. Cheers.

The whole project was possible because of all the information here on xda and because of your excellent manual on installing en running the core kitchen. Still learning a lot of things but really happy the cooking base is here.

The whole idea is to create a lean and mean version for ELF users because of the small memory. Google Maps and Opera can be installed afterwards as seperate packages and can even be installed to SD card. I think it is a good idea to remove these from the rom because they both use a lot of memory.
I will provide all the packages as soon as Arwen lite goes online.

thats really good to hear bro. cos its great to know a chef is born under the picture tutorial. and the best advice i can give you is, once you are comfortable with hypercore...you should take your cooking to the next level. meaning a more advanced kitchen or kitchens.

ive been getting pms from people wondering why i dont release all the new builds for kaiser, i usually do release them but they are hidden in the 600+ pages of my thread. so from now on i am going to do things differently, all new builds will be published in their own thread and will be a light rom with stock everything if they pass the test here, then i may decide to dress them up and release them in my main rom thread. all roms come with stock themes, classic blue is default. these roms are light and FAST, just because they look like stock doesnt mean i havent included my tweaks special thanks to Da_G for bringing us all the new builds, without him none of this would be possible

NEW....i am releasing 2 versions of 23053, they are exactly the same as far as included applications. there will be 23053 stock-like(normal rom) and the new 23053 stock-like(test version). the test version only has around 68mb of free storage, while the normal version has 145+. most people use sd cards for storage anyways so i hope that some people will try the test rom because i think its the fastest rom ive ever had on my kaiser hopefully others who try it will agree. i am keeping the link to the test rom here so there will be no confusion about what the user is downloading/installing. the link to the normal version will be at the bottom of this post with the other builds.

But when i exit cHome editor, it doesn't appear on the front screen. I can disable r enable existing panels, but not create new ones.
A.The custom chome that is in rom is from ibrythill wm7 project, if you want to add plugins you need to go check out his thread in dev-hack forum or you can disable wm7 with a cab in tpc_tweaks folder in my documents and will have default chome and can add whatever you like.

How to customize titanium weather radar for your area.
In v6.1 i updated the titanium weather to v4.2 which includes radar. i left out the urls because they are in my area so you can customize however you want. the information is stored in the registy, and you can edit it two ways.

Q.When you plugin exchange as your mail source, the icon turns from the little mail symbol to a big red circle with a white X.
A.Try adding a second email act., doesnt even have to be a real one i dont think and the red x will disappear. the icon is in brozeres.dll but for some reason it wont show all the time...its random and has always worked for me but for some this happens occasionally.
*For anyone desiring to add custom cities to the Manila Weather tab, here is how it is done.*
1. Download & make a copy of the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml HERE
2. Modify the file to include your info. See the examples below and/or just copy & modify some of the existing lines in the file:

1. Open up advanced configurator and turn on all the power saving options(They are all turned off)
2. Put it in stand by mode when you aren't using it

5. Make sure you have properly conditioned the batter .

I have a problem to view the Chinese character in any popup notification and contact list under phone dial panel. First of all, I installed CN Font support in advance. there is no problem in the SMS, mail and normal system contact list.
uninstall the chinese font from your device..
import the attached reg key into your device..
then copy the font file into your windows directory and soft reset your kaiser.

they are all just different builds that have come out the last few days. 23409 is the oldest of the three actually, it just came from a different com tree so has a higher number. the newest is 23047, it was just released a couple hours ago you should try it

Gave up on flashing roms since most of them had lots of crap that were right for the cooker, but not really what I was looking for. Having a clean rom, and then adding my stuff looks very promising.

use a radio over 1.65.xxxx and you will be fine, experiment with a few to see what works best in your area

The G3 version works only on G3 devices, but the G4 version works on both G3 and G4 wizards.
After flash please make Hard Reset!
The G3 version (with unlocked ExtendedROM) is in "G3 ONLY!" folder. Safe, normal version (without ExtROM) is in "G3 & G4 safe" folder.
If you flashed G3 version, please format Extended ROM using nueStorageManager, for best performance.

In this forum, there are many ROM's in different languages (GER ; RUS etc). So I do not see a problem
G3 version (with Extended ROM unlocked) uploaded!
WWE versions (G3 only and G3&G4 safe) are uploaded now!
Anyone tested? Please write opinion about ROM!

I loaded the WWE G3 version onto my G3, and it is quite nice.
It has plenty of applications, and no fancy home screen.
I like it! I only wish it had the finger touch like Angel ROM or Tech Teamup's NSN.
I have not yet tried with a SIM card, but it works nicely over Wifi.

For enable Touch Scrolling like TouchFLO, you can install a trial (but working always) FTouchSL OR change registry: run Total Commander, 2x tap on adress bar, select gestrues, change disabled value to 0. And make after circ. 1 minute a SR.

I have seen that before, but had forgotten.
Now this might be my favorite ROM.
Fast, stable, very much available ram and flash (especially on G3).
I like the selection of applications.
A perfect ROM for use with SPB Mobile Shell.

Hello,
I just flashed your ROM, works fine!
With nueSM, how can the ExtROM be formatted? Which one is the extrom? If I open nueSM I can see my SD memory card, TrueFFS, TRUEFFS and TrueFFS DiskOnChip M-Systems.
Which one of the latter three is ExtROM?
With FileExp I and can see the ExtROM even on my pc with AS, but in nueSM i cant see it listed as ExtROM. So please advice
ps. I suppose there is no need to keep those files that can now be found in ExtROM since we can format the whole ExtROM, right? Or should I run something or install before deleting and formatting the whole ExtROM?
