Any ROM on Any Carrier? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

Hi all,
I am new to flashing ROMs to my Tilt. I have seen ROMs that are labeled T-Mobile and Rogers Mobile that are compatible with Kaisers. I have AT&T for a service provider. If I flash a Rogers or T-Mobile ROM to my phone, will I still be able to use it on AT&T, or is it strictly just for those companies? I ask this because I think it would be cool to have AT&T service, but it reads Rogers or T-Mobile.
Thanks in advance,
ChaosPB

Sorry to do this to you but....
Gotta close the thread, this is a prime example of "asked & answered time & again".
Seriously if you don't know this then you shouldn't even be thinking of flashing a Rom to your phone. Trust me this comment is more kind than cruel.

Change An locked AT&T phone to T-Mobile

Hello All...
I want to lend/give my AT&T unlocked Fuze to my friend to try, but he is on T-Moble network. How can I do this, if possible at all? Is there a stock T-Mobile ROM for the Fuze that will work on the at system?
Any help would be appreicated!
Thanks

You need to purchase an unlock code for the phone. You can google it, or try looking for one on ebay. All you do is buy the code, follow instructions to entering it and then it will be fully functional (with EDGE speeds on any GSM carrier if not used with AT&T)
If already SIM unlocked just put the T-Mobile sim in and will work if not there is a thread for sim unlock in Touch Pro section, as previously stated the phone will not have 3G or HSDPA due to the band differences of the networks.
Ok,
I have the unlock code for the fuze from AT&T. My question is, do I leave the AT&T ROM on it or is there a T-Mobile ROM that I have to load? Will it work ok with the AT&T ROM or is it better to change it to a T-Mobile ROM if one exists?
That's my question...
Thanks

Won't make a difference the Radio will have more to do with functionality since reception may be differnt due to carrier.
So you are saying I should load a different radio?

[Q] How do I check what provider for what Rom

Hi
As you can see I am new to this forum so I hope I am posting this in the correct place.
My question is I have read a few guides on how to flash my HTC HD2 what I havent seen mentioned is what provider you are with. I am on O2 in england the phone was on vodafone in england but has been unlocked. How do I know what Rom to use to get it to work on O2 in england or does the rom have no affect on that.
Just thought I better check with you Guy and Girls before I do anything.
Thanks for any help.
Nope, you are good. Your ROM will not affect your cell phone service.

[Q] Differences in I535 hardware between carriers?

I just received a brand new Verizon Galaxy S III by pure luck, I've been searching all day on how to get this thing to work on my AT&T Sim with no luck. I can't even find an unlock service for this model.
I've Modded many AT&T phones and returned them to stock. I'm very familiar with Odin, rooting, roms and flashing back to stock but this Verizon (model) Galaxy S III is kicking my butt.
Can this Verizon model be flashed with an AT&T image? I was under the assumption the Galaxy 3 phones (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint Etc.) are identical? They all share CMDA and GSM in one piece of hardware? Or am I wrong?
Just looking for some direction here. Thanks.
Your first step should be switching the phone to work on GSM, after that possibly flashing the at&t stock rom or something..
Wish i could offer more.

While i agree with the switching to GSM, which has been done for international service but not ATT as far as i remember, i would not recommend flashing ATT roms. believe this will perma-brick your shiney new phone.
Check out the Verizon Development thread for the GSM international service.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1809314 might be of some help. Recall a thread about a guy getting voice and text working on ATT with their SIM but not data. I'm sure you can find that one too with a little searching. Good luck!

[Q] Unlocked T-Mobile G3 - Load Stock ATT Rom

Hey XDA,
Does anyone know if this is possible? My main reasoning is to get rid of all of the t-mobile stuff on my phone and then to get the updates from ATT since that is the network we moved to.
Thanks!

XDA would dictate that installing ROM's that aren't for your specific carrier/hardware would be bad; especially stock. Most interchangeable ROM's are international ones, or at least one that has been ported to support the carrier/hardware you're running. So short answer is no unless an AT&T stock port is made for the T-Mobile G3. I could be wrong but that's been my experience in the years I've flashed ROM's.

[Q] ATT GSM/CDMA on net 10 CDMA only possible?

Sooooo. I got an off topic question for my fellow techies of XDA, would it be possible to get an AT&T IPhone onto cdma net 10 if unlocked? I hate iphones and my girlfriend loves hers but when I moved to a new area I couldn't find a single gsm service in the area that got a signal (I was pretty shocked too) I got the IPhone from a friend and I know US Cellular/Verizon/Sprint don't typically accept unlocked phones, I know this forum is for android phones but this is just a general phone service question as I tried to get my unlocked sprint G2 on the cdma and found out it was blacklisted (what do you expect? I was craigslist) SO. What do you guys think? Any ideas on getting a gsm phone that's CDMA capable on CDMA through net 10 or other simlar service? I'd love to be able to get a good unlocked phone on cdma if it were possible, I have the G3 from U.S. Cellular right now but the phones so new there isn't even an available rom because US got it so far after the other carriers. I believe I posted this thread in the right place and if I didn't please let me know and I will remove it, I like XDa far too much to want to get blacklisted haha
