I need to enter the settings manually for internet and mms for the tornado. Does anyone have these?
internet and mms are the same settings.....
wap.voicestream.com
no user, no password, auth thype is none, DNS IPs 0.0.0.0
settings
I found the mms settings on tmobile's site however it doesnt match what you posted. i found https://support.t-mobile.com/knowbase/root/public/tm22882.htm?A2L.SERVICE=#3 but nothing seems to work yet. Look at the settings listed under the response for question #3 on that url. BTW, my device is fully unlocked and works fine with a tmobile sim card.
wap.voicestream.com works on my 2125, which is unlocked and running the WM 6.1 latest ROM. It the same settings I used on my HP H6315 for years. I'm in NY.

I need to know exactly what you have configured when you go to IE->menu->options->connections as well as the main phone settings in the gprs section and proxy section as well as the mmsc settings for mms.

Not only are they in the forum, they are on TMobile's website (with the exception of the correct IP address...figures) but the correction is in the WIKI. There are CABS available also in the FTP directory. *sigh* as Projectile says: search.

If you are using the CAB issues by T-Mobile, please not they are not working properly with the latest version of ArcSoft MMS (3.5.x.x) cause the registry structure has been altered. The way the default profile is set has changed, so I had to tune the XML provisioning from T-Mo.
You can also fix it by going into the server tab of ArcSoft's settings and set T-Mobile as your default server manually - that should work.
Make sure GPRS is configured prior you setup MMS.
Hope this helps.

Da did that
I have already tried those setting and when I try to "SEND and RECEIVE" it shows on the bottom left corner "ERROR SYSYNCHRONIZING".

MMS Settings for T-mobile USA
There is a big error in the gateway adress. For the last octet, it should be 50 and not 050.
It will work fine after that
SOLVED (w/screenshots): MMS vs. T-Mobile USA!
Details and screenshots at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1227020#post1227020, but here's the executive summary:
1. Type exactly "216.155.165.50", not "216.155.165.050"; and "http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms" instead of "...174.084..."), i.e. no leading zeroes; and
2. After setting up MMS, click the power button until the device turns off (not just the screen; don't press and hold, just click and release; if you're sync'ed, you'll hear it disconnect). Repower to load the settings!!
I have an unlocked 8125 on CIngular and still using my AT&T sim card. I was using a wm5 rom from faria and had the GRPS and net settings up and going.. (I cant seem to find the settings anywhere anymore, and the ones that I find dont work)
I have recently ugraded to a wm6 rom.. XDA Moblie 6 (XM6) and have tried all the settings that i can find and none seem to work. I have tried wap.cingular settings and all the nMode or mMode settings and nothing.. the most I get is a connection attempt and then I get a second message stating that the modem dialer has disconnected.
Please someone help. Thanks
Evil
Did you add the "Cingular WAP MediaNet MMS Settingsv2.cab" after you updated to WM6? You can find the cab at the bottom of the second post.

Thanks

Try these for your settings:
GPRS CONNECTION
Description: AWS GPRS
Connects to: The Internet
Access point: proxy
User name: (blank)
Password: (blank)
Thats all i found so far. you may want to call at&t and ask them for the correct settings though

Just started getting a problem with the MMS on my Serra and not sure if anyone can let me know theirs please.
Under connections/My ISP I have
Mobile Web - Cellular Line (GPRS,3G), mobile.o2.co.uk, o2web/password, DNS 193.113.200.200, Alt DNS 193.113.200.201
Mobile Web 2 - Cellular Line, mobile.o2.co.uk, o2web/password, DNS 193.113.200.200, Alt DNS 193.113.200.201
My Work Network
02 Active - Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G), wap.o2.co.uk, o2wap/password, user server specific
MMS Settings
o2uk - Gateway 193.113.200.195 port 8080, server address http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002. Connect via My ISP
Thanks
Sorry all fixed myself, my proxy settings were incorrect
What exactly was the error - I still cannot get MMS to work even with your seetings from your post?
I found out that mine was that a proxy server was enabled. I hook mine up to my laptop while in the office to charge and activesync with my Exchange server. Hadn't realised that it also enables my office proxy server.
crazyC, is the SIM in your Serra on O2 contract or Pay and Go? I'm guessing it's the former, but if it's the latter I know the settings...
Is it just MMS that's not working, or is your data connection (via telephone I mean) not working either?
It was just MMS that did not work.
I am on contract, and after a lot of digging and trialling of cabs that should have fixed it, but didn't, I have sussed it out and tested it.
I will roll the settings into my O2 setup cab, test it, and then post it if anyone wants it.
YES! Please post it.
I am using these settings on my contract o2, htc touch pro. all my 3g and internet works... just no mms.
I have sat here for four hours now messing around with it...
any chance of posting the settings that worked for you?
Try this
MMS Settings
o2uk - Gateway 193.113.200.195 port 9201, server address http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002. Connect via My Work Network
Other connections as per the normal O2 set up.
'My Work Network' shows up as O2 Active
Dont forget to set the O2MMS server as the default under MMS options
I havent tested this yet, but this cab SHOULD insert the O2 MMS settings - note you must already have the correct O2 network setup for calls and data, this is just the MMS bit.
im also having prblems with this, using the new Elite RC4. Im gunna reflash it and try again cuz i have fiddled with the settings too much
Edit - i tried the cab and the setting listed above it and neither worked for me
I have called O2 to see if they can help me and they sent me the some lame ass intruction which are exactly the same as on here... except afte you set up the o2web settings it says to use auto download for the rest :/
Whats the deal witht he proxy for the o2 active settings are they supposed to be on or off and if on, what do i set them as?
Installed the original O2 ROM to get all the settings working properly. It seems the missing details are in the WAP Proxy ones.
start - settings - connections - connection settings - manage existing under the 'my work network' (or whatever you renamed it too) - proxy (ensure use proxy is ticked) - advanced
WAP - 193.113.200.195:9201
SECURE WAP - 193.113.200.195:9203
Other than that settings are as they have been mentioned previously
MMS issues
I have extensively searched forum after forum and this seems to be the only thread with the sort of info i am searching for. I have installed TPC V3.1 Rom With required radio, everything works including MMS, however, no matter what settings i try i cannot receive normal sized pictures and any MMS videos go straight to the O2 website and all i get is a message your phone is not compatible with this type of message. Can anyone help, its really annoying............
I have tried the above .cab file and it doesn't work for me either.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Try some of these reg edits.
Thanks, but that is more for increasing the send size limit of mms, I can send them fine, but my network O2 cannot determine what phone I have and therefore only allows me to receive the smallest possible sized attachement.
I have tried numerous settings and radios to adjust this I've even tried the get settings feature and I get a txt back sorry we are unable to blah blah blah. with out going back to O2 stock rom i'm running out of options.......
Also I have never attemped to edit the registry
Again thank u for your reply......
EDIT......
Attempted reg edit, has had no affect, am I doing something Wrong.......?

Hi guys, I have entered all the settings found on here and my mobile web and mms work but the mms messages received are resized to a tiny default size as mentioned on here.
Any chanch of an idiots guide to edit the registry so that o2 think it's another phone allowing me to received full size pics.
My phone is a Vodaphone UK HTC Touch Pro2 with O2 Pay Monthly Sim.
Any help is appreciated
Hi All,
I've searched a bit in the forums and threads and tried some stuff but to no avail. I have a HTC Touch Pro 2 (unlock) bought in Taipei, Taiwan where I currently live. I use Chunghwa service with 3G and GPRS enabled. I put the latest Rhodium T-Mobile ROM for English as soon as I bought it.
I found out how to unlock the MMS Options server settings so I customized it to how Chunghwa had requested and I could start receiving MMS but when I try to send it fails (and takes a few minutes to time out while which is annoying too).
My settings from Chunghwa:
Under Messages->MMS Options->Servers
Gateway 10.1.1.1
Port 8080
IP: http://mms.emome.net:8002
emome server
300K
WAP 2.0
under settings->connections->connections
I setup emome server with:
apn = emome
both checks under proxy settings and Proxy is 10.1.1.1
and with advanced on the proxy I set the port to 8080
(shows up under HTTP as 10.1.1.1:8080
After all that it receives MMS but cannot send (stuck in outbox)
Anybody else seen this?
I've even tried adding "Wap2SendLimit4=6xxxx" which I found in another thread. no luck
more info
using Arcsoft v5.0.43.116. Came with T-Mobile ROM.
new 2 the forum
sorry if I put this in the wrong place. I'm new to the forum and still looking around. I've done many searches but to no avail.
Also have problems showing chinese font with the facebook app from Microsoft?
Really would like to get my MMS send working, its a feature I did actually enjoy using (even though I also use 3G unlimited data.
Chunghwa w/ Windows Mobile 6.1 and MMS
or does anyone know a Taiwan forum I can post my question?
or does anyone have a Chunghwa phone with Windows Mobile 6.1 and MMS working? I'd like to find out what Arcsoft version and registry settings they have to get it to work.
Thanks!
Hello all, I have a HTC OZone running WM 6.5 that I talked verizon into giving me the unlock and now I have it running on t-mobile. I want to set it up to use the $10 unlimited web like my Iphone but dont see APN settings, is there a rom flash to add them?
Start-Settings-(6)Connections and then you will see (5)Proxy - by default, this might be blank or a WAP Proxy & you will need to one for T-Mobile (T-Zones) Proxy for it to work with APN
Start-Settings-Phone and then More, (3)Networks & you will need to switch to GSM Only. Then, under Connections, you should see GPRS (new) in addition to Proxy & by default, "VZW Embedded GSM" and this is where you create your T-Mobile settings for WAP.
As I recall, some of this might be initially hidden until you press the right soft menu key where "advanced settings" are sometimes available for edits or new entry.
I had trouble with getting the limited T-Zone working on the unlocked Ozone as I could never get it to work with the older Q running 6.1 custom rom but 3VO and/or running WM6.5 cooked rom is fine. Good luck ....
