Not only are they in the forum, they are on TMobile's website (with the exception of the correct IP address...figures) but the correction is in the WIKI. There are CABS available also in the FTP directory. *sigh* as Projectile says: search.
--M

ok go to settings>connections>MY ISP add new connection and then wen it askes for for connection name put edge or w.e u want then modem make it cell GPRS then access point put internet2.voicestream.com and your done

with ArcSoft....
server name: tmobile mms

Port: 8080
Server address: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Connect via: The Internet
Sending limit: 300k
WAP version: WAP 2.0

If you are using the CAB issues by T-Mobile, please not they are not working properly with the latest version of ArcSoft MMS (3.5.x.x) cause the registry structure has been altered. The way the default profile is set has changed, so I had to tune the XML provisioning from T-Mo.
You can also fix it by going into the server tab of ArcSoft's settings and set T-Mobile as your default server manually - that should work.
Make sure GPRS is configured prior you setup MMS.
Hope this helps.

Da did that
I have already tried those setting and when I try to "SEND and RECEIVE" it shows on the bottom left corner "ERROR SYSYNCHRONIZING".

I posted my CABs for T-Mobile USA there.
Install both the GPRS and MMS cabs to get it working.

MMS Settings for T-mobile USA
There is a big error in the gateway adress. For the last octet, it should be 50 and not 050.
It will work fine after that

SOLVED (w/screenshots): MMS vs. T-Mobile USA!
Details and screenshots at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1227020#post1227020, but here's the executive summary:
1. Type exactly "216.155.165.50", not "216.155.165.050"; and "http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms" instead of "...174.084..."), i.e. no leading zeroes; and
2. After setting up MMS, click the power button until the device turns off (not just the screen; don't press and hold, just click and release; if you're sync'ed, you'll hear it disconnect). Repower to load the settings!!

WM6 proxy setting, quick help.

Hello.
I'm using faria's latest WM6 ROM, but can't find where to enter proxy server / proxy settings in accordance to t-mobile's guide. WM6 doesnt have the place where to enter proxy numbers as specified. After a little digging i heard you might need to change the settings in the registry for wm6.
Can anyone please advise?
Thanks!
12. Tap Edit my proxy server under T-Mobile GPRS.
13. Tap to check This network connects to the Internet.
14. Tap to check This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet.
15. Enter 216.155.165.050 in the Proxy server field.
16. Tap Advanced.
17. Tap HTTP.
18. Enter 8080 in the Port field.

I was able to configure mine just fine today, but I'll admit it took me a few tries in the past before I figured it out.
Go to Start --> Settings --> Connections tab --> Connections.
Since you're not using the standard T-Mobile ROM, just adapt the steps a bit to match up with what is on the WM6 ROM. Where it says T-Mobile GRPS in the instructions, actually use the My Work Network section on the device. You can also rename My Work Section to T-Mobile GRPS if you want.
Under that section, you should see:
Add a new modem connection
Add a new VPN server connection
Edit my proxy server
Other than the My Work Network/T-Mobile GPRS thing, the steps were exactly the same.
Oh yeah, instead of 216.165.155.050 enter 216.165.155.50.
I did that and I was able to get an Edge connection and send/receive MMS messages from my Verizon phone.

Hi.
When I goto Settings > Connection; "My Work" is no longer listed as a connection, only My Home.
How can i get back / add "My Work" ?
THanks.
Hmmm... I'm not sure. I have My ISP and My Work Network and I've always had that with the WM6 ROM's.
Dave
I know this is kind of buggy... I had the same issue.
If you add a new connection, call it My Work or something, and choose GPRS 3G for the type, and finish, it will put 2 connections, which will allow you to change between My Work Network again, etc. No registry hack needed, it's there, it's just not showing. By adding a 2nd connection, it will show your "My Work Network" again. Keep in mind, if you had MMS messaging, but no 'net until now, once the 'net works, you will have to change your MMS setting to "My Work Network" as well.
Now 'net and MMS works on my phone (Cingular 8525) on Tmobile, using only T-Zones and WM6 Thx for the help!

do i need a data plan for oz messenger to work as well. Cause i have done all of this and i still get the error message. it also establishes an edge connection when i try to connect. what is it doing if it uses mainly txt messages; would be lame if it uses data and text messages, must be why tmobile uses it i.e. rack up your bill by using expensive but non bandwidth intensive features

Hi big, You do not need a data plan, you just need to make sure that you have the Cellular (GPRS) modem set up in your Connections settings. If I am not mistaken, it will use txt msgs and there is a little lag time the IM's.
Hope this helps.

MMS Problems, Any Solutions?

It seems to me that any ROM i flash on to my Kaiser will never let me send out MMS messages.
I have removed the "hidden proxy"
I did set up the proper T-Mobile configurations for the MMS service
I do have Arcsoft MMS Composer 4.2.8.1
And still, can't send or receive anything? Please help me out, I did try searching for answers and nothing has helped me out.
Thank you for your time..

I'm not sure what network your on, or country but you could try sending a mms to yourself and see if it works.
I use MMS regularly and it has worked for me on most ROMS that I have flashed from this forum including Dutty's. Have you called your service provider?

I'm on T-Mobile in Peoria, AZ, USA. I have tried sending a MMS and it stays on 0%. Then just stays in drafts.
My MMS use to work before when ROMS had a "Auto Configure" pre-loaded.
It seems that whenever I have to enter the configurations manually it never seems to work?
try this...
go back to 4.0whatever it is and see if that fixes it.

When you are in Messages, go to Menu>MMS Options>Servers - highlight the setting (mine says "AT&T MMS), double tap on it and it opens up a page of Settings:
Server: AT&T MMS or whatever yours is
Gateway: wireless.congular.com (get this from your carrier)
Port number: 80 (the default I think, but check with your carrier)
Server address: http://mmsc.cingular.com (whatever T-Mobile says it should be)
Connect via: << now here you have a drop-down menu - make sure you pick the one that you use for your general internet connecting (e.g. I can connect with either MediaNet or AT&T WAP - I just have to be sure they both match when I go to send an MMS)
Send limit: 600k (only option on my drop-down box - I know on my 8125 it was only 300k)
This fixed it for me, see if it helps you.
Thanks for the info but I've done that many times.
Like I've said I have configured and re-configured the settings..
And disabled the "hidden proxy" so now I'm not sure what could be the problem?

There are two lite roms one for at&t with new radio and drivers and one just htc brand
ok so the NETCF 5 brand has the HTC brand because that's the one I'm running.
But isn't NETCF 3.5 more like "40%" faster than NETCF 5 ??
Heh, because I do want the HTC brand, but you should make the Ultimate HTC Rom for all the Non-At&t users.

O2 MMS settings

Just started getting a problem with the MMS on my Serra and not sure if anyone can let me know theirs please.
Under connections/My ISP I have
Mobile Web - Cellular Line (GPRS,3G), mobile.o2.co.uk, o2web/password, DNS 193.113.200.200, Alt DNS 193.113.200.201
Mobile Web 2 - Cellular Line, mobile.o2.co.uk, o2web/password, DNS 193.113.200.200, Alt DNS 193.113.200.201
My Work Network
02 Active - Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G), wap.o2.co.uk, o2wap/password, user server specific
MMS Settings
o2uk - Gateway 193.113.200.195 port 8080, server address http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002. Connect via My ISP
Thanks
Sorry all fixed myself, my proxy settings were incorrect
What exactly was the error - I still cannot get MMS to work even with your seetings from your post?
I found out that mine was that a proxy server was enabled. I hook mine up to my laptop while in the office to charge and activesync with my Exchange server. Hadn't realised that it also enables my office proxy server.
crazyC, is the SIM in your Serra on O2 contract or Pay and Go? I'm guessing it's the former, but if it's the latter I know the settings...
Is it just MMS that's not working, or is your data connection (via telephone I mean) not working either?
It was just MMS that did not work.
I am on contract, and after a lot of digging and trialling of cabs that should have fixed it, but didn't, I have sussed it out and tested it.
I will roll the settings into my O2 setup cab, test it, and then post it if anyone wants it.
YES! Please post it.
I am using these settings on my contract o2, htc touch pro. all my 3g and internet works... just no mms.
I have sat here for four hours now messing around with it...
any chance of posting the settings that worked for you?
Try this
MMS Settings
o2uk - Gateway 193.113.200.195 port 9201, server address http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002. Connect via My Work Network
Other connections as per the normal O2 set up.
'My Work Network' shows up as O2 Active
Dont forget to set the O2MMS server as the default under MMS options
I havent tested this yet, but this cab SHOULD insert the O2 MMS settings - note you must already have the correct O2 network setup for calls and data, this is just the MMS bit.
im also having prblems with this, using the new Elite RC4. Im gunna reflash it and try again cuz i have fiddled with the settings too much
Edit - i tried the cab and the setting listed above it and neither worked for me
I have called O2 to see if they can help me and they sent me the some lame ass intruction which are exactly the same as on here... except afte you set up the o2web settings it says to use auto download for the rest :/
Whats the deal witht he proxy for the o2 active settings are they supposed to be on or off and if on, what do i set them as?
Installed the original O2 ROM to get all the settings working properly. It seems the missing details are in the WAP Proxy ones.
start - settings - connections - connection settings - manage existing under the 'my work network' (or whatever you renamed it too) - proxy (ensure use proxy is ticked) - advanced
WAP - 193.113.200.195:9201
SECURE WAP - 193.113.200.195:9203
Other than that settings are as they have been mentioned previously

Try some of these reg edits.
Thanks, but that is more for increasing the send size limit of mms, I can send them fine, but my network O2 cannot determine what phone I have and therefore only allows me to receive the smallest possible sized attachement.
I have tried numerous settings and radios to adjust this I've even tried the get settings feature and I get a txt back sorry we are unable to blah blah blah. with out going back to O2 stock rom i'm running out of options.......
Also I have never attemped to edit the registry
Again thank u for your reply......
