For some reason i wake up this morning when i use my keyboard on screen the phone freezes or does not enter into the message box. I have used every type of input possible and nothing comes up. Then messages freeze up and phone does nothing until i pull the battery. Works like a charm on everything else. Even the internet explorer works but not opera mini. Anyone see this before. TNT Its right 6.1 real port touch edition.

Hey guys, i've got a problem. First off, KforTouchPro works fine on my HTC Touch Pro, i can configure buttons fine for Morphgear, PocketGBA, SmartGear etc, it works wonderful. And as everyone that uses this app already knows, you have to switch the setting to MS IME before you launch your game emulator, or else you can't configure the keys. Well, my problem is, after i'm done playing a game, sometimes I forget to switch the setting back to default, and whenever i do a reset or shutoff my phone, it hangs at the screen right before it shows your homescreen and touchflo3d tabs.
Basically, for those that use EnergyROM, it hangs at the screen that shows you the black & blue background with the word EnergyROM 3.0 in the bottom left (or something like that, can't remember). That means you can't do anything at all, since there are no buttons etc for you to press as the home screen is not fully loaded, so basically you got a semi-bricked phone as no matter how many times i try to turn on the phone, it just hangs there, which results in me having to do a hard reset in the end.
To prevent this, you MUST restore the KforTouchPro setting back to the default setting, but sometimes ppl forget and this will cause a semi-bricked phone, which is very risky and quite dangerous.
So, is anyone else having the same problem as me?? Is there a solution to this??
And lastly, what's the difference between KforTouchPro and KforRaphael??
I recently bought a used htc touch cruise. After a few days the phone wouldn't get any gsm signal and windows media player and other programs wouldn't work. I installed WM6.1 and now everything is perfect. the phone works great.
There was something interesting that happen. i tried to open the phone by pushing the power button bat no response( the phone was on last time I checked) , no button seems to work, just the green flashing light was running. I had to pull out the battery and put it back and switch on the phone., and now is working. The phone was off in that time where no button would work because I try to call my phone put was unreachable . The curious thing was that the green light was flashing. This is the second time it happen this,
can anyone tel me what is wrong? could be some settings? could be the WM6.1...or some hardware problem?
you've got a ppc. that means it's a little computer, as you know, computers can crash.
sometimes if the phone crashes it can lock up with black screen, no buttons work, but yes, sometimes the led light flashes still.
to the left of the mini usb/charge point is a small hole. if the phone crashes, poke your stylus pen into it to perform a soft reset (restart the phone).
it maybe that you flashed an unstable rom or had too many programs running at once. try changing the 'X' button function to close the program, rather than minimize it to the background (this you'll find in settings)
if that doesn't work try a re-flash. sometimes roms can become unstable because the original ('shipped') htc rom wasn't flashed first. then flash the custom one. sometimes i even double flash the custom rom to make sure all is set right.

So I have GingerDX installed with no issues except this one. I tried wiping and fresh install but it is still an issue for me.
It mostly happens with the keyboard, everytime I bring it up, I get the background and empty screen. When I press back, keyboard goes away and everything goes back to normal. It happens with default keyboard and swype which is the keyboard I want to use.
I have seen it occur at other times occasionally though. Anybody got any ideas? This basically makes the phone unusable if I can't type.
Oh and if I rotate the screen, sometimes, it causes the keyboard to appear with squeezed input box and I can use the phone but other times, this does not work.

ince 2 days ago my fone started acting wierd, when i try typing a new messege i press on the keypad but the letters and numbers dont appear on the screen, my fone vibrates as i text but nothing comes up, it takes it 5-10+ minutes till i can finialy type a single text before it does that again. the same thing aplies to making fone calls, i swipe the screen to make the call, or try putting in the numbers thru the keypad, but nothing comes up, it takes a while for the fone to eventualy make that call if ever, the time on my fone stays falling behind by 10-30minutes, i downloaded a safe feature for my fone thats an antivirus, supposedly to be good, my firends use it, every time i run a scan nothing appears,i tun it off and wait a bit to turn it back on, only then does it not mess up for about 3 minutes then it messes up again. my sister told me she had a similar issue, and she was told to take off the battery for a bit of time and then put it back on, i do that but its the same as turning it off and back on, samme effect, can some one tell me what to do please, if anything at all, thanks to any one who replys back with any help. -Alex.
ps also its just like slow basicly, its not responding correctly, but if i go on andlisten to music, surf the net, or play games on it, its perfectly fine, while at the same time the messeging/time/texting is not working properrly.
i think you should format your phone it will be ok.
and also install a good antivirus some antiviruses are very heavy but they don't work.

i bought the phone (new) a month ago, it is not rooted. sometimes when i launch watsapp, choosing a contact and pressing the blank line in order to start typing the keyboard just dont popup. if then i try to open the sms app the keyboard is missing there either. the only thing i can do is rebooting.
any ideas??

With the last update to Android 5.0.2 I've the same problem.
On my phone the keyboard crash at least once a day, and I can't type anything, no message, website url or anything other. The only way for me is restart the phone to get back the keyboard working. It's really annoying. I'm looking the way to revert back to 4.4.2 stock but it's seams little difficult!
