Is there a setting to silence the phone on an incoming call when the phone is locked? Pressing the volume up or down WON'T work with me.
Thanks in advance.
i just tried on my phone several times from different numbers and it works fine for me.. both buttons too
Were you using any program such as manic AutoKeylock? or you just held the end call button to lock it?
Maybe I need to reset it but I didn't install any programs.
just end button i did not think i needed a program to autolock my phone
silence
Hi,
when somebody calls me i would like to silence the ringtone and not hangup. (on sonyericsson you press the side key for volume)
pressing volume up or down doesn't work for me either. is there a place in settings where you have to enable this feature? (i sure couldn't find it )
I would like to confirm that a hard reset fixed the problem! Pressing volume down while phone is locked SHOULD silence the phone by default.
Could be some software glitch that messed it up in the first place.
Figured out the problem. It seems to me that when there is an active connection, i.e EDGE is connected and it is showing in the near the cell signal, you WON'T be able to silence it by pressing a volume down.
If you go to connection manager and disconnect Edge by pressing 6, then lock it and let somebody call you, you WILL be able to silence it!
I have tried the above three times to confirm it. Seems pretty messed up if you ask me!
If you know how to solve the problem, please let me know.
Anybody figured out the problem (Read above)? I will paypal you $20 if you can get this to work!
Really, why did they mess it up like that when my previous phone, SDA, worked!
Hi! I've got a problem: My Phone ends the call when I turn it upside down. I think this is wrong because it's more useful that it mutes the call. The bad thing is that when I take the phone frome my pocket it sometimes ends the call and so I have to recall. I've got the infido win 6.5 rom, i don't know if it is wrong or if i have to change something in the registry. Can you help me?
i have an HTC BlueAngel wm6.5 (6.5.06)...
sometimes my earphones don't work during calls and I almost can't here a thing...
so if anyone knows how to turn it on, kindly teach me...
thank you...
hey there
whilst in a call, you should see on the dialer a button to turn on load speaker, if not it should be in options, but only during the call.
Hi. I've got a GPS aplication running on my WM6.5 cellphone (chinese clone:TOPS A1 TOUCH). The navigator works properly until I receive a call. When I answer the call (my cellphone is connected via bluetooth to a PARROT) the screen starts turning off and on every 30 seconds. This way it is not possible to go anywhere usin the iGO, of course :S. Even when the OS power saving settings are disabled I get this funny behaviour.
I guess that should be possible to prevent the cellphone to power down the screen while a call is being done. Maybe there exist a registry key that can be modified... I don't really know.
Any of you knows how to get rid of this issue? Any idea will be very appreciated.
Many thanks for your support, guys.
Cheers,
Hello.
I changed ROM from stock 2.3.5 to CM11 Open Desire) and now i have problem with ending calls. When i'm initiating call or respond to the incoming call, after closing phone to ear, screen goes blank. It's normally. But when i want to end this call, after removing phone from ear, sometimes screen doesn't get to work for several seconds and i can't tap the hang up button. Sometimes i have to wait for the other side to hung up to get the screen back to work. Until this, the phone not respond for buttons. Sometimes screen back to work and there is a calendar app running and bluetooth turning on (and both of them were off before call).
Sometimes everything is ok and i can't figure out - where is problem?.
I'm 100% sure that it's not a problem with proximity sensor, because on stock ROM sensor worked perfectly.
