[Q] Problem with blank screen when call ending. - HTC Desire S

Hello.
I changed ROM from stock 2.3.5 to CM11 Open Desire) and now i have problem with ending calls. When i'm initiating call or respond to the incoming call, after closing phone to ear, screen goes blank. It's normally. But when i want to end this call, after removing phone from ear, sometimes screen doesn't get to work for several seconds and i can't tap the hang up button. Sometimes i have to wait for the other side to hung up to get the screen back to work. Until this, the phone not respond for buttons. Sometimes screen back to work and there is a calendar app running and bluetooth turning on (and both of them were off before call).
Sometimes everything is ok and i can't figure out - where is problem?.
I'm 100% sure that it's not a problem with proximity sensor, because on stock ROM sensor worked perfectly.

Screen goes crazy during call?

Got a new tp2 from sprint. whenever i make a call it flips to home screen then off then back over and over. Also when I call voicemail, the keypad never comes up until i press keypad and while i am listening it goes back to home screen then turns off. whats going on? dam its annoying!
I'm having a similar issue. When ever I remove the phone from my ear while I'm still on a call it goes to the home screen. Very annoying. It will work as it's suppose to some of the time but I'd say 95% of the time I have this issue. Hopefully someone comes out with a fix for this.
Me too (I'm on TMobile). Also, at the end of the call when it asks if you want to add to contacts, it flips back to home if you don't respond fast enough. But the worst is when I'm dialing in for voice mail and need the touchpad; it flips to home and I have to hit the bottom left hard button to get back to the phone.
I assume it's something to do with the way it turns off the touch screen based on the proximity sensor when it's up by your ear, then turns it back on again as you move away from your ear, so no doubt there's a setting somewhere to adjust that.
same here... during a call the screen goes on and off several times. may be light sensor.... who knows
anything that prompts you to make choices by picking numbers becomes a pain unless you use speakerphone. really hoping for a fix
I have no clue if this will last but I changed the setting to lock the phone if it's unused from 30min to 1hr and that seemed to work for now. Changed it back to 30min to double check, it happened first try during the call but worked properly after.
the way its supposed to work is, when you put the phone to your ear the screen goes out when you pull it away it will come on to the call status screen(not the keypad, unless you push keypad then it should stay on keypad, but if you put it to your ear it will go off, when you pull it away it will come back on to the keypad.)this feature is so you do not push buttons with your face.
Same issue...
Orginally seemed to keep on the call status screnn, but now moves to the home screnn when pulled from head.
Any fix would be apprecaited...

[Q] Motorola Charm Touch Screen Bug

Hi there, good afternoon.
Im having a very strange problem with my cellphone, that is very difficult to describe.
First, the problem only happens in the call screen.
After tapping at the dialer keyboard, the touch screen input goes crazy and keep pressing the keys by himself, completely random.
Also, the problem arises when receiving calls, ending the calls automatically.
All the random pressing happens in the "End call" area, which is very weird.
The phone is most unusable now since calling is a priority.
I have no on how to procede or where to download a new rom to flash.
Can anyone help me? Thanks.

phone call problems

Been running lollipop on my nexus 5 for a few days now. I have notice a few bugs when in a phone call. When i put the phone up too my ear, the screen doesnt always go black, sometimes it just dims, and when the big red end call button touches my cheek, the call disconnects. The second problem when the screen only dimes, my ear pulls down the notification tab and activates what ever notification are showing. I never had these problems with kitkat. Anyone else noticing these problems.

Am I the only one to want a gif of your ear pulling down the notification tab?

Touch screen doesn't work when device woken up (Intermittent)

I've got an intermittent problem - sometimes when I wake the phone up, the touch screen doesn't work. It happens when I wake it up with the power button, when someone calls, or when an alarm wakes up the screen. That means when the problem happens, I can't answer the call, or turn off the alarm (sometimes locking the screen and waking it up immediately works).
It doesn't seem to be affected by whether or not the phone is or has been charging, whether it's been in my pocket or the temperature of the device. I've not been able to discern a pattern at all. Once the phone is unlocked and the touchscreen is working though, it works perfectly. The problem never returns while I'm using it, only if I lock it, and only sometimes.
If I leave the screen on while touch is unresponsive, I can tell when it is responsive to touch again by a line that quickly flashes along the top edge of the screen. At that point, the screen operates entirely normally.
In what may be a related item, when I'm on a call, sometimes the proximity sensor doesn't work properly and the screen turns back on and starts working. I get off the call and find my phone in a different app.
Does the Nexus 5 use the proximity sensor while the screen is off as a way to weed out unintended touches while the phone is in a pocket?
I'm going to try and store it face up over the next couple of weeks and see if the problem continues, but I was hoping that someone might have some insight.
About the phone:
I cracked the screen over the summer and had it replaced, but I didn't have any issues with it at all until I installed Lollipop. 5.0.1 hasn't made a difference

Unable to pick up calls

Hi everyone!
I have a situation here. I have this old A106, i am using as a secondary phone. Upgraded it to lollipop 15-20 days back and since then something or the other is happening with the phone.
First was the proximity sensor, the screen would shut off right after i dial a number and wont come up unless i press the power button. The proximity sensor is not functioning at all i guess.
Secondly, since this morning, I am unable to receive any calls on my phone. The phone rings, I swipe it to the right but nothing happens and the icon comes back to the middle, and within a few seconds the call gets disconnected.
Tried factory reset/data wipe from recovery but it didnt fix the issue. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks, Have a good day!
