Hi there.
I want to know if you know a program that sounds an alarm when you reach a certain amount of time?
I have a phone plan that i have 5 minutes free of call. it will be nice if i have an audible alarm in order to hang up and dial again.
Thanks.
I've seen this ... There's a program out there that does this ... but I can't remember what it is ... I'll post it in a few min when I remember.

Hello, I have an HTC Cruise, i have a Vodafone contract that provide me for 200 min of free conversation and sms, i wonder if there is some softwares that can monitor my calls and sms, like taking log of minutes of conversation and number of sms sent. I will really appreciate any help.
Try this.
Haven't tested it my self but sounds just like what you need. Also check out "Phone alarm".

I am not in UK, i am in the Netherlands.
... that have a button to skip forward/backward 5-10 seconds with a single button press?
Google's Listen app does this, but unfortunately cannot play mp3s downloaded outside of the app.
TouchMusic can kind of do this, but... it's just a horrible app...
Anyone know of an app that does this?
Doesn't the default app do this? if you hold down the buttons instead of pressing quickly.

Holding is not a button press. I specifically said button press for a reason
Also, I'm on the Desire ROM which doesn't have the holding functionality anyway.
use the bar

Ok seriously people. This is EXACTLY what I was talking about just a few days ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6003685#post6003685
I am asking for a very simple and specific request. Please stop telling me to do other things which are obviously not what I asked in the original post. Jesus F'ing Christ!!
GAH!!!
Using the bar to move backward 10 seconds in a 90 minute file is frustrating and almost impossible, especially when driving, running, or any other time when I don't want to fiddle around with trying to move the bar one tenth of a millimeter.
Does anyone have any input on the actual question that I asked?
sorry no.. if you find one let me know please.. i am looking also.. the built in app is crap.
no equilizer..
no effects...
no add to playlist other than one song at a time.. etc. etc.
the music player in my older i8910 is much better.

I suggest you file a enhancement request here http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/list .
You shouldn't expect everyone to analyze your every word.

No, but I have some input on life: Stop being a sperglord about volunteers offering alternative suggestions that work on the actual issue and not the very specific implementation you requested. If you don't like it, you can stop posting.

I don't like your attitude or your swearing when people try to help you.
People understood clearly, and are offering alternative ways, unless they knew that such a thing existed. Don't like it, stop posting.

Analyze my every word? It was worded quite clearly, and I even bolded it.

Sounds like you are looking for a mp3 player that might cater more toward audio books/ podcasts.
I needed something similar recently, I think AudioBook Player or MortPlayer Audio Books might do the trick. If those don't work, check other apps that handle audio books in mp3 format.
It's 2010, why are you still running around with a single 90 minute mp3?

Yup!

Perhaps muncheese has never heard of a podcast?
I try not to spend hours at time listening to other people's opinions.
I've never "understood" the appeal of podcasts, so I wasn't aware they don't even have the decency to organize them neatly for listeners.

There's more than just opinions. You can listen to news too, among other topics

Or not into news either? : P
Hi everybody
I need to have more than the default 300 calls/14 days in call history
I have tried a program called Advanced config but it could not increase the number of call history
I tried to search the hd2 forum but I did not find any solution
is there any registry modification to increase the duration of call history more than 14 days or the record more than 300 calls
Thank you in advance & best regards
I hope I'm not the only one who is interested in that feature

Hey, I haven't seen anything. but if your interested in keeping a record of your calls etc there was a program which automatically created an appointment in the calendar each time a call was made. Cant remember the name of it though Might be an alternative?

Just spent 30mins trawling the market for an app that records your talking in your sleep.
Found a few but with crap reviews.
Just want a recorder that switches on if it hears a noise, then closes off after a given period of time.
Anyone know of such an app?
Cheers

Should not have been so hasty...
Think I've found what I want
RL Watcher
Still, if you know of any others, please let me know.
Sleep as an Droid does this, quite successfully, although it's main purpose is sleep tracking and it's not free ($1.5).
Haha what a cooL idea i will test it this night

Had a look at this myself but got frightened off after reading some of the services that are accessed after installation:-
Services that cost you money
Directly call phone numbers
Send SMS messages

Yeah, it gives you the option to send recordings via email and also alert of events via SMS or phone call. - Not that I'm gonna use any of that.
I did use it last night and it seems OK, but just been looking at Sleep as a Droid as recommended above and it looks great. Don't mind paying for a decent app

Hi guys
sorry but I cannot find an alarm on that watch without having my phone linked to the Gear 2??? This is surprizing for a watch...
Is there a point that I missed here? Sleep genius alarm does not work so I was expecting to see a default alarm app already installed on the watch.
Thanksssssssssssssss
I suspect there might be one if you could download it from the Samsung App store (But other devices can't use that) so the best we got is the Timer app
