hello,
When I receive a call, I cannot read correctly the number of my contact because the number is hide by the name of my network.
Anyone have an idea to fix it?
when I receive a call, if the contact have a photo, I can read normaly the number.
So my dad has the galaxy s4 and is having problems sending text messages internationally. So hes texting another countries number, which sends out. he has the correct outgoing number such as 011-598-**-***-*** but when he gets the text back it changes to 98-**-***-*** and when he respawns it gets a error so how would i fix the issue with the number removing the outgoing verification numbers when he receives a text.

The number 011-598-**-***-*** your dad used is usually for land-line telephone calls. The cellphone uses a "+" followed by country code and cellphone number. The numbers "011-5" could be the IDD access codes for your normal land-line telephone. It will work for telephone calls but not for texting.
When texting internationally, the destination (To) number is in the format: +(country code)(cellphone number) less the ( ).
For example if you were to text me (Singapore country code is 65), you would use this format:
+6512345678+ sign is compulsory for cellphones.
65 is the country code
12345678 is the cellphone number
For your dad's case,
Instead of texting to this number:
011-598-**-***-***
Try texting to this number instead:
+98-**-***-***
I believe the 98-**-***-*** is an Iranian cellphone number (see the link below for the Country codes):

Hope this helps

HI everyone.
Sorry for the second post in a few days, but this is an annoying issue
I have a verizon galaxy s6, and I am currently living in Belgium, using belgian sim (carrier BASE). I don't think this issue is unique to the country or the carrier.
The problem I am having is that when I receive a text message from a belgian number, the number that shows on my phone has the country code: +32 xx xxx xxxx. I can get text messages like this, but when I try to reply, the message fails. (this has happened on every number ive tried to respond to.) The only way I can get my texts to send is by making the number into a new contact, and removing the +32 country code. The same goes for when i'm trying to call, I have to remove the country code, if I keep it, the call fails. I've tried turning on and off assisted dialing, and I did a factory reset on my phone. Ive tried dialing US numbers and they have also failed, so it's not forcing the +1 country code on my numbers while calling either.
This is a huge pain, because it forces me to make a new contact for every single new number, even if its not a number I need/want to keep, and go in and adjust it manually.
Thanks for the help, it's very appreciated.
I have the same issue in Albania...i belive you ! It's a very a anoying matter , from that moment i have editet all the numbers i frequently call or text..!

Hi, I'm from Argentina and have had the same issue with sms. In my case, I was able to send sms but cannot reply because the messages comes with +54 (My country Code) before the line number. After 2 weeks claiming to the carrier (Personal), the problem was fixed changing the SIM CARD for a new one. I Hope this can be helpful for you.
Regards.

Hi,
I have a problem with dialing phone numbers. My contacts are saved with country code +91 xxxxxxxxxx. When I dial it, screen shows 01091 xxxxxxxxxx. Thus my call is not connected. For this I need to remove the country code from all my contacts and then dial only the number. But editing all the contacts is getting difficult every day.
Also I receive calls with +91 numbers but when I call it back, its not connected again.
Please help me to get a permanent solution to it.
P.S: My phone is imported from Japan Sony Xperia sol26.
