Fail to unlock Treo 750. Need help - Palm Treo 750

Hi guys,
I need to use Palm Treo 750 with T-mobile. I've got an unlock code from one of wireless dealers, but when I tried to put the code in it says "you have tried 10 times. Please wait until timeout".
I tried hard reset but it didn't help.
I'll be glad to get any suggestions.
Thank you

You have to wait. Timeout now be some hours. Then you'll be able to enter code (I guess you haven't entered it, because you get that message).
Put your Treo on charger with timeout message on screen and wait... And wait...

Just tried Hard-SPL, but got problems!

Hi All:
I've been studying this site, and hundreds of posts, and finally got up the nerve to try to unlock my Treo today. Unfortunately, it does not seem that it worked.
I just tried Hard-SPL in order to unlock my Treo 750 Cingular (US).
I was not able to get through all three steps.
Got "Unhandled Exception Has Occurred, Continue or Quit" I continued.
After three or four tries, I was able to get to the point where a message popped up: "Congratulations! Process complete!"
Powered off Treo, inserted TMoble SIM card, and got this:
"Simlock: You have tried 3 times. Please wait until timeout"
Cannot get past this message.
What happened? What point am I at?
If I press reset and hold the bottom button on the left, the screen says:
Palm Tr
IPL-0.20
Palm Tr
SPL-0.21.0000
Can anyone help?
the hard spl did not work. you do have net compact framework 2.0 on your computer? what i did on mine was go into your c drive. there is a file that says tempche. delete that file. then run the unlocker process again from the beginning.
.net framework?
Well, well, well!
I have .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 installed.
However! I do not have .NET Compact Framework installed!
I'll try that, and let you know how I do.
Thanks!
Unbelieveable!!!
OK, this is UNfreakinBelievable!
I got it working!!!
I now have my Treo 750 SIM unlocked. And, for good measure, I had it do a CID unlock!
I used the CheetahUnlocker.exe program from Olipro. (The internal version number of the program is 1.0.0.0, dated 2007, and the internal Program Name is AthenaUnlocker.exe.)
Once I installed the .NET Compact Framework onto my PC and Treo, everything went pretty smoothly.
During Step 2 of CheetahUnlocker, (Unlock Radio) I did have to manually copy two of the files that were in the c:\tmpche on the PC: Athena_Unlock.exe and CheetahPatched.nbh to the Treo, then run Athena_Unlock on the Treo. I checked both "SIM Unlock" and "CID Unlock", and clicked "Unlock"
I did run Step 3 of CheetahUnlocker, (Flash Normal Radio), as I had read that it was important to put the "normal" radio software back in.
Once the unlock procedure was done, I powered off the Treo, removed the cover and battery, and inserted my Tmobile SIM. Once I re-installed the battery and cover, the Treo booted up, and allowed me to go right to the phone dial pad. I tried calling my home number, and it worked!!!
Then I went in and set up the MODEM settings, and tried to get on the Internet. Success!!!
And, not only do I now have phone and Internet, all of my contacts, scheduling, and notes were transferred from my old phone to the new one!
the only thing left to do is set up my email. Which I'll leave for tomorrow. Right now, I need to get to bed (it's 11:40pm), but I'm so psyched, I'll probably not sleep!
Olipro, you're the greatest!
And nuwayman, thanks for tipping me off to the part I would never have figured out on my own... the "compact" in .NET Compact Framework!!!
I know that, to many of you, this process was nothing. But, to me, it was a nerve-wracking experience, wondering if I was going to destroy my shiny "new" Treo 750 by trying to unlock it!
Thanks to all of you for your efforts in making this all possible.
YAAAAYYYYYY!
Now I can retire my Treo 600!!!!
And...figure out how to unlock my "new" Treo 650!!!
congrats
way to go in figuring it out. enjoy your new phone.

Vox refuses to connect to a network

Hey there,
since I'm pretty depressed about my s710, I'm looking for some help. I got an old Vox. (Orange CH) I use a simcard from another provider.
The Problem is, that I'm not able to connect to any Network. Sometimes it's possible to get a connection but I'm beeing kicked out after a few seconds.
First I thought that there would be a Simlock/Netlock on the phone. But I don't get the simlock error message at the boot-up process! Well I even tried to manualy execute the SIMLOCK.EXE on my phone. This should make it possible to unlock any HTC Phone with the factory code I bought. But after typing in the code the simlock.exe simply exits and nothing happens.
The Phone is not broken... With the original sim (my uncles) everything works. With non-orange sim-cards it doesn't. (I tried several)
Any Idea how to transform my Hightech trash into something usefull? Or should I simply throw it out of the window, burn it, chop it with an axe?
Regards
David

Dont Know Phone Pin? Help to reset phone?

Hi, a family member passed away a few months ago and I was given her phone by her sister to use if I wanted. She had the phone and charger, and thats it. I stay in the UK and the phone I use is on O2. The phone she had was the Experian L but she had her phone through a contract with virgin media.
When I initally put my sim card in and turned the phone on it said 'virgin media, this phone has been reported lost/stolen'. In order to unclock it from this security lock I needed her insurance company(through virgin) to provide me with a 4 digit pin to unlock the phone. This was very hard to get as the insurance people are different from virgin media, but after a while they agreed to give me the code if I sent a copy of her death certificate in. I did this and got the code thankfully. I was told that I wouldnt be able to use my o2 simc ard in the phone because the handset was locked on Virgin. I was told if I paid £15 I would receive the unlocking code through the post in a week or so.
I did this and got a letter through the door with the instruction on for to unlock the handset. Basically its a 16digit number that I enter and the phone become unlocked. However, after all this Ive just realised I think there is a phone lock on the phone i.e. a pin she must have set herself? I think this because when I power the phone up without a sim, all I can see is the date/time, with her name underneath, and also underneath that is a keypad. When you press any button on the keypad and hit enter it says wrong pin? That happens without a sim card so I presume it is a phone pin lock she had on her phone is that correct? If so, is there any way around this? Ideally I would like to keep whatever pictures etc are on the phone however I realise that might not be possible. Ive tried to download the sony suite however it wont allow me to use the suite because it tells me on the computer I must enter the pin on the phone to continue! bit of a nightmare to be honest.
Any help/suggestions with what I can do? Many thanks
I cant unlock through Pc Companion because Pc Companion needs the screen to be unlocked before it connects the device, and I cant do that.
factory reset
Hello, do a factory reset to the Phone, but you will loose all the information on it
