Anyone found any solutions for this yet? The program posted up in a couple of threads on here only work on wm2003. I noticed adjusting the equalizer in TCPMP also has absolutely no affect on the sound output aswell. Seems WM5 is completely different in that respect, or that is, if it can be adjusted at all.
Yeah.. I'm looking for it too.
I PMed Xetra abt it.. and here's the reply:
Hi
unfortunately, it seems that wm 2005 doesn't allow to acces to the dsp hardware or, maybe this ppc have no dsp bass treble control ...

Which WM5 device are you running it on? You can't move the sliders if you run that on a Charmer.
It's a Himalayas.
What a pity..
Yeah.. I'm on atom, and I can't move the sliders too
A solution/fix would be greatly appreciated..
I've the same problem too
this is very interesting, does anyone tried on MDA Compact 2?~
thanks
Why donĀ“t ya use TCPMP? It have a super EQ, especially in the newest ver.

ahh, the eq in the .72RC1 version does have an effect now, all the older ones never worked.

Audio Manager help
Thank you so much. After a soft reset it works perfect and I was elated.
is there a audio manager version out that doesn't have this bug that it sorts the tracks alphabetically and not by track number?
i tried this one HTC_Audio_Manager_v1.02.919713.zip but it still has the bug.
So my audiomanager looks like the attached. I am using HTC Audio ManagerV1.02.919.713.cab. I have tried different versions but it says it is "unsigned" and won't open it. Any ideas?

duttythroy HTC Audio Manager 1_2_816716.cab search for this version, it doesnt have that bug I found it in the kaiser forum some time ago, duttythroy has a cab collection online somewhere, it should be in there.
However, as it installs into program files, if you set HTC Home Customiser to use audiomanager you will not be able to launch Audio manager from home. Theres no doubt a way around this, but i cant be bothered trying to sort it out at the moment.

duttythroy cab collection online:
http://www.cinetsystems.com/xda/
All the cabs I found in XDA-Devs and other places were older builds of HTC Audio Manager too (Even in Dutty's cab collection).
I butchered one up myself - basically I just took all the audiomanager files from a dump of Dutty's No.6 ROM and packaged them into a .cab file. You're welcome to try it out...
No more alphabetical nonsense, files are sorted by track numbers. As it's set to install to "\Windows" it should work if you want to use the HTC Home tab to open it.
Edit: Let me know if this works ok - I've checked it and it's working fine for me, and it is indeed the version I ripped out of Dutty's No. 6 ROM.
Will I need to do any hardspl before installing HTC Audio Manager, cause I really don't want to risk my warranty?
No. Just install the cab and it'll appear in the programs folder like any other application.
If you don't like it, then you can uninstall it through "Remove Programs". No harm done!
Okay thanks alot
There are also other apps like a picture viewer program who has iphone interface (sorry can't remember the name) and HTC Touch Cube are these also just installations, without any flashing?
Sorry for the questions, it's just difficcult to find out which apps needs flashing and which don't.
PS. has read through the wiki, but there are no thumb rule about which apps needs flash and which don't.
Can I just install the cabs in this link without flashing, because that would be great:

Yes it is only software you install, without any flashing.
Pretty much all of the applications are available as cabs. Of course, many of them are already cooked into ROMs anyway.
The exception to this is the Touch Cube, which doesn't work very well unless it's been cooked into a ROM.
If you're not too bothered about the Cube, then the only real reason to flash new ROMs is for newer builds and potentially improved speed/stability.
For applications and plugins, you'll be able to get 99% of them as cab installers.
Oh, and yes - all the cabs at that link can just be installed with no flashing needed. You never need to flash your device to install a cab. (The audio manager that you will find in duttys collection is an older version than the one in post #11 though).
Cool. Thanks alot both of you for the answers. I will have to try HTC Audio Manager, and will start with yours at top of this page

Can we sticky this somewhere important? This worked great on my Wing and I'm asuming alot of other people are looking for this fix on a multitude of devices?

Thanks, I thought no one else noticed that. I posted something about this a month ago, but no one answered.
I just wish that they released a version with an equalizer or something.
Is there a fix to let the Audio Manager "see" all of the albums that are actually on the phone? I have probably 6 or 7 albums but Audio Manager only sees 3 of them.
update: once i deleted the old version of htc manager and then installed the new version... all was well. the new version was able to see all of my music directories and in the correct numerical order.
Hi there!
First of all I tried a few versions of the WM6 Roms that are around in this forum, I all of them are working great & stable!
But appearently WM6 has a few bugs (maybe it's not a bug but a feature. ) I dislike....
1. Whatever which ROM I use doesn't change the profile to "headset", when I plug in my headset. So WMP plays the music out of my headset, but ringtones still play out of the phone..
When using WM5 this was different: all kind of sounds played out of the headset and the phone stayed muted.
How can I change that?
2. I can't connect to hidden SSIDs.. I know that there's a patch and some of the roms have this patch included, but can you explain how to patch this on a non-patched rom?
3. Does someone have a COMPLETE german localisation? I tried some but they all had still some strings which wheren't translated to german..
This is all I want to know
Hope you have some answers..
Martin
headset profile doesn't exist in WM6,or to be more precise it exists but it's not like in WM5 you can not change this profile, guys from wce.by tried to do something with that, they even imported some files from wm5 to make it posible to edit or change the issue about ringtones still play out the profile apeared in the list of profiles, but no mater what you change in it ....it all the same... so it's a known issue about WM6...maybe 6.1 which is to come will change smth.

WOW #1 might be the KILLER feature I was looking for
My phone currently has the "stuck in headset mode" problem as described here: http://www.modaco.com/content/HTC-C...headset-mode-tried-all-suggestions-have-seen/
Martin (or anybody else), Do you know if this helps fix this problem?
Hey,
I have my td2 now since july and am really sad about how they changed windows mobile. I first had the p3300 aka orbit and was so happy about it until I had some soft/hardware issues.
SOLVED
Now with the fancy new td2 I just can t get TCPMP to work or well it worked once with the 0.81 rc i think but not really good.
I searched now for days to find something but mostly useing my td2 and that got pretty annoying.
I am really tired of trying and searching so if anyone could help me with an easy solution then i would be thankful also because I have so what no idea about registry or such.
Also i found this nice Program W.V.D. which makes me want to have a working tcpmp even more or can I use any other mediaplayer and if yes, which one?
And one question to skyfire...
Does it just rendomly suport flash on pages i can just sometimes not get it to work at all and sometimes it runs just fine even though skyfire is really blurry but I read that we can not really do much about that yet.
my td2 is running on the original german xda diamond2 rom and I am just waiting for O2 to finally release the 6.5. Is that usefull or should i just take any cookedrom? If, which one is great? Or anyone any Idea when =2de releases the 6.5?
Also can someone tell me what the different blinking signals mean on the td2 because in the manual of the p3300 were they explained but with the td2 was not much information with.
Also i would be really happy to hear what kind of programs are essential for the td2 which programs do we need.
Thank you very much in advance
Mario
What I already tried:
TCPMP 0,72
TCPMP 0,81
Flashvideobundle.cab
h264.cab
TCPMP MAster codec pack2.cab und .zip
and all i get is the crash.txt or full startup but no loading of video file
Would be really nice if anyone can give me help i searched a lot now and i just don t have the will power to continue to read 50 threads with each about 40pages and maybe one useful hint.
Also tried to find a wiki but i guess i m to stupid for that
so long
mario
TCPMP:
what do you think about the attached one ?
nota: u have to change in options/video: check Raw FrameBuffer
hopping it will works as well as it does for me
hey,
yes with this i at least manage to see mp4but flash and wvd still don't work... but hey anyway thank you very much for this mate
Okey I got WVD to work.
I used:
TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-wm61-recomp-03.CAB
Video set to Raw FrameBuffer
And FlashVideoBundle.CAB
Now it works just fine both files are attached
(edit: Upload for the player does not work i don t know why)
I've installed TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-wm61-recomp-03.CAB and the
application freezes.
I can't even get to settings.
I have also installed CorePlayer.
Is there any conflict between the two or TCPMP simply doens;t work on TD2.
hey sorry didn t see this ...
there shouldn t be a conflict especially if you have one running at a time.
Tcpmp works just fine on several td2 also on mine now.
Download he tcpmp which is attacht here and set this to Raw FrameBuffer
DO NOT TOUCH ANY OTHER BUTTONS BEFOR THE OPTIONS MENU not play not anything
best reinstall it and then directly to "options"
That TCPMP works but the video quality is bad as hell.
i don t have any problems with that at all
pfft installed any version prior and other than TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-wm61-recomp-03.CAB. none work. get a direct crash.txt.
when trying the one mentioned above it will only read the audio codec i put in the windows folder, but not the video codec.....anyone?>
One week ago I got my new HTC HD2 mobile. What a great thing. I got this mobile phone from my german provider Vodafone. When I try to create my one ring from my favorite mp3 song I searched the program MP3trimmer. But I can't find the programm. REading a lot of article I found out, that some of the mobiles where delivered without this nice program. Did anyone have an idea where I can get this program for my brand new HD2.
Many thanks in advance
Heiko from Germany
Hello there ..im using the one from blackstone and it works just fine
here u r :
Thanks a lot for the file.
I installed it and tried to run the program. But after starting the program I found myself on the desktop again. No chance to open the program. But maybe someone else had an idea where I can get an executable version of the mp3trimmer.
give this one a try too..it is a modified version of diamond's mp3 trimmer for VGA. (can only be installed in phone memory)
...hope it suits you..
