Well, here it is, ported from what I did for the Polaris basically... I find it's a nice solution as it works by flashing your device with a patched radio and changing stuff properly, anyway...
download and run the EXE, follow the instructions.
bear in mind if you already have Hard-SPL on your device you can skip *straight* to Step 2.
and remember the golden rule:
YOUR DEVICE MUST BE IN CE AND SYNCED BEFORE RUNNING EACH STEP.

So what is the status now?
I found this solution does not work on all of devices. But my solution is as follows.
Run KaiserUnlocker.exe
1. I started with the Step 1. The upper button of total 3.
2. Go through the menus and accept everything.
3. You get TRI-COLOR screen on your device and a few seconds later you get the USB label.
4. After some time you get a communication error Message. DON'T RESET YOUR MOBILE DEVICE. DON'T TOUCH IT.
5. Press Exit to quit KaiserUnlocker.exe on your Desktop machine.
6. Unplug and replug the USB cable.
7. Start the KaiserUnlocker.exe again and wait a little bit.
8. Your mobile device (AT&T Tilt) suddenly alive again. The progressbar shows up and you're from 0% to 100% in a few seconds. Wait a little bit and then you get the message the process is finished.
Now I don't know what to do with step 2 and 3. Should I perform them or not. Hmm?
What I would like to do is just to update from AT&T Tilt ROM to original HTC TyTN II ROM

however, to avoid any confusion, download AGAIN and this time you'll find that the version in the debug output is changed to v2.0
so if you don't see v2.0, you don't have the new one
Oh I see you changed the version now. At the time I downloaded it and wrote my first message it was just V1. There was no V2. But I can't test it now because I already have the ROM patched.
And I didn't get the ModelID error. It was a connection error 260.
I think it's just some guys of you are lucky to have a device that doesn't get the white screen when using hardspl and it doesn't stop on tri-colors or the progressbar at 0%.
actually, it's steps 2 and 3 that I care about, having a patched ROM is irrelevant.
step 2 and 3 allow you to sim/CID unlock

Our provider has notified us of the fact that our ftp server has appeared in a list of compromised FTP servers which are known to host malware associated with attacks on banks and banking infrastructure. We have been requested to secure our systems. Since we realize it would cause serious problems to some if not most of our users if we we're to close it down immediately or change the password in the next 5 minutes we hope you can all live with the following arrangement:
We will close down the ftp server Monday the 9th of march on 09.00 CET. You have until then to download anything from our ftp server you (urgently) need, especially if you host software of which you don't have a back-up on our ftp it's important to download it asap. After closing down our server upcoming Monday we will remove all malware and start restructuring our server, implementing a new user structure, this does mean our server will be offline for a while and we cannot assure you no data will be lost.
If you have space available to host your own software please do so, if you have space available for those who do not have their own space please let it be known by posting a reply to this post. Our apologies for any inconvenience this will cause, but we hope to be able to serve you with a better ftp server as soon as possible.

I did re-download after you said it didn't work. I must have downloaded it before it was fully uploaded. I did see the V2.0 NOw...this time no errors.

Done, but I saw that you have change the radio version to 1.70.xxx. What radio is this?
Does this mean that the unklocker installs Hard SPL permanently - so future rom flashes are possible? what does device in CE mode mean?

These were my steps,
1. Identified my AT&T radio ROM & downloaded that from XDA website as a backup. Pick from here
2. Ran Pof's HardSPL Link
3. Ran Jocky's SuperCID & Security Unlocker Link
4. Installed Dutty's Official WM6.1.2.19199 Full Version Link
5. Installed Radio ROM 1.64.06.04 Download
6. Installed .NET Framework 2.0 on my Windows XP SP2 from Microsoft website.
7. Ran OliPro's Kaiser SIM/CID Unlocker. Followed just step 2 & 3 since I had already installed HardSPL.
8. Installed Radio ROM 1.64.06.04 to get my ringtone & HSDPA connection.
May be my steps 3 ~ 5 were over kill but that was just me. If you would like to skip 3 ~5 make sure you have WM 6.1 installed also remember to patch your original radio on step 8.
All the above steps does not need a strange SIM. I am yet to pop in a different carrier SIM to confirm about my Tilt Unlock Status. However, after the above steps, I found "Kaiser Unlock.exe" under my Tilt root folder. I ran that from phone, clicked on check SIM Status, came up as "You are already SIM Unlocked"

I did have to install a 6.1 ROM (I used Dutty's Official) between steps 2 and 3, had a blank screen, using the att rom -bloatware.

I've an AT&T Tilt 8925.
First of all I tried both the ways suggested in the threads to install the hardSPL but I've always the same problem:
I've no problem to install on my device the JumpSPL1.56-KAIS.exe (or the 1.93) but when I launch the KaiserCustomRUU.exe I follow the instructions on my pc and after the program has detected my rom version (1.57) and
has started the installation of the HardSPL (at least it seems) the activesync connection disappears (it becames grey) and the RUU shows an "error" and suggests me how to restore my device leaving the battery etc. (but to restore everything it's enough a just soft reset)
Please can you help me???

No need to apologize. The one in which you got the hardspl files.
Okay, I'm gonna answer this because it's buried in the HardSPL thread & hard to find since it was answered once about a month ago by me. Diconnect your device, do NOT reset. Run thru the recovery or close out the HardSPL flash.(You are using Flash HardSPL w/ the RUU, right?) Reconnect your device & run the utility again.
If this doesn't work it's because I'm partially guessing. You've not provided nearly enough information. I need to know what SPL version your device currently has, also if you are running a firewall & which one, also if you use any McCafee products.

Simple Step-By-Step Installation of 3.28 Hard SPL:
I have decided to expand on what has already been posted for those noobeees that are having hard time understanding the HardSPL procedures and are hesitant to flash new cooked ROMs fearing the process was not really explained in details.
You only need two files; SSPL-KAIS.zip and Kaiser-HardSPL-3.28.zip. Save both files on your PC in their own folder for easy access later. Follow these steps to the tee, Do this only if you have your device CID unlocked already ( OliPoff method ):
1. Save then unzip SSPL-KAIS.zip inside a folder on your PC, then copy the unzipped “SSPL-KAIS.exe” onto your device. To do this, connect your device to ActiveSync, After Syncing, Click on Tools from the ActiveSync window, and then click on Explore Pocket PC. “Mobile Device” window appears, Copy SSPL-KAIS.exe by dragging it inside the “Mobile Device” window.
2. Unzip “Kaiser-HardSPL-3.28.zip” in its own folder on your desk top. It will unzip into two files; KaiserCustomRUU.exe and Kaiser-HardSPL-3.28.nbh.
3. Remove your SIM card and your SD card from device. Your device will power off when your SIM card is removed. Power up your device. You are still connected to your PC via USB at this point. Your phone will sync again since it is still connected.
4. On your device, go to “File Explorer” and locate SSPL-KAIS.exe that you copied earlier on your device main memory and click it.
5. Wait for the Bootloader Tri-Color screen to appear and "USB" to show.
6. On your PC bottom tray, Right-click the ActiveSync icon, go into “Connection Settings” and ensure “Allow USB Connections” is unchecked
7. Unplug your device from the USB port, wait 5 seconds, plug it back in.
8. Go to the folder on your PC that has “KaiserCustomRUU.exe” and click it. This will flash the HardSPL on your device.
9. When done flashing, do a soft reset, and you should be good to go.
10. You can use the above steps to flash Kaiser-HardSPL-3.29 if you so desire.

Tilt will not receive ROM
I tried flashing the below upgraded Kaiser Rom on my ATT Tilt but now I have the tri-color screen:
KAISI*0
SPL-1.93.000
CPLD-8
The first time it stopped loading at 15%, recovered and now I am getting vendor ID error (294 invalid vendor ID).
I tried others ROMs (including this one) but it just does nothing 0%, errors out, recovery and repeat (update error 262).
After removing battery the tri-color screen says "serial", once I plug in the USB it says USB, but no firmware can be loaded on it.
Does someone have basic firmware that will load when an ATT Tilt gets in this state?
Any help is really appreciated. I just got this thing too. Below was the update I tried that kill my Tilt.
'RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_3.28.405.0_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.16.25_Ship.exe' that you can find

Sounds like your phone is still CID LOCKED. Unlock it using the software posted somewhere else on XDA but NOT in this thread, and try to upgrade the SPL after unlocking.
One way to find out if your device locked or unlocked is that you can try to revert back to the AT&T OEM ROM and flash it. You would then be certain that the CID is locked if your device accepts the OEM ROM.
I wish you posted your troubles in the ROM post where you downloaded the ROM where it belongs; My instructions have nothing to do with your device ROM issues.
I believe you are exactly right! Do you know where there is copy of the AT&T OEM ROM? I would love to have my phone working again.

At least I know what went wrong, now I need to recover the original Rom.

This newbee still won't eat. I got the file (your link is to the same file) but I am getting the same 294 invalid vendor error (after 1%).
I rebooted computer and tried it again with same 294 error.

It wouldn't hurt to mention the "white screen" issues people get when running SSPL.
In such a case they need to use Jump SPL 1.56 or 1.93.

Any great excuse that should be used when I take it back for repairs?
I cannot flash any rom. I've tried one of Dutty's and I tried the HyperDragon version. With each, I got to the step of running the KaiserCustomRUU, clicked through the screens and at about 18% complete, it freezes due to some communications error. Can someone help? I've seen these cool ROMS online and just can't get it to work. Here's what I did
1. Synched TILT with PC and moved JUMPSPL1.93-Kais.exe and JUMPSPL1.56-Kais.exe(I've tried both) to the sync folder.
2. Run the file from my TILT, following the unplugging steps mentioned in all the guides online.
3. Run the KaiserCustomRUU file from my sync folder on the pc...follow screenpops, then at 18% I get the error. I try the error recovery with no luck...
I'm completely stumped...I've been able to avoid a "brick" whatever that is, by downloading the ROM from the HTC site to save my phone, but unable to set up a new ROM....AHHHH!!!
So after running JUMPSPL1.93-Kais.exe, which hard SPL are you trying to install so you can flash a custom ROM? When you say you run the KaiserCustomRUU file on your PC, what else is in the "sync" folder?
I recommend you read the Wiki more thoroughly; make sure you know exactly what you're doing.
Completely Unable to Flash ROM
I downloaded a folder called Kaiser-HardSPL-3.29. In this folder I have KaiserCustomRUU.exe (which is what I ran). there is also a file called Kaiser-HardSPL-3.29.nbh. Only the .exe is the executable file so that's the only one I could click on.

That thread definitely lays out the steps for me, but the problem I'm having is when I flash the hardspl3.29. That's when I get the pops ups on my pc, which I click through, and when the progress bar gets to 18%, It says I've had some sort of communications error. it did this both times I attempted it.

So you've installed HardSPL 3.29? Did the whole unplug/plug in thing? And THEN tried to install the ROM?

Do you have to do the unplug/plug thing?
I did it the first time when I flash to hardSPL 3.05... then when I hardSPL it to 3.29 again, I didn't have to do that. It just run by itself.
I'm not sure; I always did. I suppose not if you didn't and the procedure still worked.

Make sure you use,.
Win XP SP2 or higher
Active sync 4.5
and net framework installed on your pc
USB cable that came with kaiser box,.
Thats usually the main reason for cant upgrade ROM,.
SPL and CID thing is not related if you failed in upgrading process,.

Hello everyone.
Yesterday I saw that there was a new update of my favourite rom EnergyRom. So today I downloaded it, installed it, everything went well. Until I restarted my Raphael ( raph300 btw). It kept stucking on the bootscreen.. even after I installed the rom again it still stucked at bootscreen. So I began trying to fix it with installing my hardSPL again, that didn't work either, still no further than my bootscreen.. after a while I decided to downgrade my spl to my stock-spl. that went well but still stuck on bootscreen. So I tried to install my stock-rom from my provider: (t-mobile netherlands). But then the Rom updater stuck at 0% and I received the well-known [262] error. Suddenly I saw that I stupidly accidentally installed the cdma version of EnergyRom instead of the one I needed: GSM. That explained why it wouldn't boot in the first place. Now I tried to install the olinex hardspl, but the updater stopped everytime with the 262 error. I connected my device to another computer with windows XP, but there I saw that the computer recognized it as a CDMA device.
I know it is a stupid mistake, but is there anybody who knows what I could try? I also tried to hard-reset it, but that wouldn't help either. Any help would SO be appreciated

As I remember 2 years ago,HardSPL is somehow depended on RadioROM. Maybe the ROM influenced the Radio with HardSPL,so try to reflash HardSPL again and Radio. Or it works absolutely not?

No, I can't update any ROM. So now i'm stuck with my stock SPL, therefore I wanted to Hard SPL my device, but that didn't work and since then I haven't been able to update any ROM.. would flashing on a different PC help maybe? now I am on a Win7 Pc but maybe it will work in WinXP..
It is also not a bad idea to try different PC with XP to flash. I remember apx.1 month ago I tried to update HTC Trinity with WM6.5 ROM and it keeps failed with some errormessage(nowadays I can't remember which,but the syndroms was similar). Then I considered it as "bricked",until I tried another PC and everything wents correctly and the phone is in its productivity again. Yes,tfirst PC was company notebook with lot of safety kind of software(firewall,this,that,etc...) and the second one was my private laptop at home,just equipeed with regular antivirus software,all updates disabled(instead of AV).
Btw,what about trying to flash official ROM,while you are with stockSPL? Maybe it helps you to startup again the device and then HardSPL again afterwards...

yeah, that's what I thought too. I tried that also, also tried other custom roms btw before going to the stock rom. But with the stock rom it also stuck at 0% on the update
so, today I tried to flash my rom with two different computers: one with win7 and one with winXP. didn't work either.. I read the MTTY thread and after I installed the custom driver I was able to connect trough MTTY. But what commands should I use to clear the ROM and is there any way that I can update my rom via MTTY?
search MTTY on the forums the first link has all you need to clear the rom and flash via MTTY
I think you may be screwed. You should've asked for help before you started messing with the spl. I don't understand why you thought reverting to the stock spl would be a good approach; it may well be the end of your device. What you should have done is just flashed a stock rom-that would probably have restored your device. Re-flashing hard spl is kind of pointless. The only thing that can over-write hard spl is the special 'stock spl' that olinex put together. It's not entirely stock, and I am not sure that it can be over-written by hard spl. The sole purpose of the 'return to stock spl' is so that you can flash a stock rom, then restore the spl so that you can return your device for warranty/service without being dinged for having unofficial firmware on the device. When you do this, you aren't anticipating getting the device back, so I'm not sure that hard spl can over-write it. I know there have been discussions on whether or not it can be over-written, but I'm not sure that there was ever a clear answer. Anyway, with the 'stock spl' on the device, you can't flash any cooked roms to the device. If you are very lucky, you may be able to flash a stock rom. So, my advice is to try a few stock roms.
I'm pretty sure you'll need hard spl to run mtty/task 29, so I wouldn't waste your time on that. I really doubt it works, and I'm not sure what it's going to buy you, anyway. You really need to be able to flash a rom to the device, and you can't flash a cooked rom with that spl. Maybe you can flash a stock rom, but maybe not. I'm not sure which carrier it will let you upgrade to, either.

yes I did, but the problem is that I can't access my Internal Storage, so I can't put any ROM's on that. Tonight I tried to flash a ROM via my SD card, but when I put my device in bootloader-mode it kept saying that it was 'loading...'
If the bootloader just says 'loading', then you probably need to either reformat the card to FAT32 or rename the image to RAPHIMG.nbh. Make sure you get the extension correct (not RAPHIMG.nbh.nbh).
But you're not going to flash anything with the stock spl, anyway. You need hard spl. I'm not sure you can even flash a stock rom off of the sd card-it probably needs to do it over usb.
I updated lot of smartphones already,but it was already few years ago. However I think,that SP's are flashed with MTTY. For that I needed ROM image in nbh file and with some commands you tell the PC,that it should flash it. Don't forget to disable USB connection in Activesync on XP in case MTTY will connect.

I already managed to connect my device with MTTY, the only thing I need to know is which commands I can use to flash the ROM through MTTY. It just sucks that I am not able to go to my Internal Storage, otherwise it would be much simpler I think.

The only thing that can over-write hard spl is the special 'stock spl' that olinex put together. It's not entirely stock, and I am not sure that it can be over-written by hard spl. The sole purpose of the 'return to stock spl' is so that you can flash a stock rom, then restore the spl so that you can return your device for warranty/service without being dinged for having unofficial firmware on the device. When you do this, you aren't anticipating getting the device back, so I'm not sure that hard spl can over-write it. I know there have been discussions on whether or not it can be over-written, but I'm not sure that there was ever a clear answer. Anyway, with the 'stock spl' on the device, you can't flash any cooked roms to the device. If you are very lucky, you may be able to flash a stock rom. So, my advice is to try a few stock roms.
I'm pretty sure you'll need hard spl to run mtty/task 29, so I wouldn't waste your time on that. I really doubt it works, and I'm not sure what it's going to buy you, anyway. You really need to be able to flash a rom to the device, and you can't flash a cooked rom with that spl. Maybe you can flash a stock rom, but maybe not. I'm not sure which carrier it will let you upgrade to, either.

Oke, thanx for your input. I tried to reset my ROM memory with mtty/task 29, but that didn't work, just like you predicted. So my next question is: 'Is there any app that can perform the task 29 without MTTY?'. I googled it, but I could only find the task 29 app for the HTC HD2.. And further, does anybody have a recovery ROM for my RAPH300? I tried the stock ROM on the XDA thread of HTC Raphael, but still got the 262 error
There's really no point in doing Task 29. The bad rom isn't what's killing you now, it's the SPL. It's going to block task 29, no matter what you try (that's one of it's jobs). You should just try to get hard spl back on the device, or try flashing every stock rom you can find. I tend to doubt that either will work, though. The only other option would be to look up the jump spl developed by PoF. I don't remember the name (search for threads started by him), but it was a universal soft spl that would temporarily CID unlock devices so you could flash custom roms. I've never used it before, and I don't know how it loads. You may not be able to load it onto your device with its current state, and it may not even be compatible with a Raphael (it's 3 or so years old), but it's probably worth at least checking out.
