not find solutions, put aside paying... I would like to free it
because I do not use any more because I am in litigation with this

Allow me to intoduce myself.
I am the Service Manager for a UK based laptop and PDA repair company, Apex Laptops. With regards to the PDA repair side of our company, we specialise in mainly iPAQ PDA's but are finding a large number of people wanting XDA repairs.
We have tried many sources to obtain parts, the most unhelpful being 02's actual XDA repair center, ANOVA.
We are trying to find a company or people who would like to give / sell their broken / unwanted XDA's to us. Working or not, we do not mind.
If you know or have any information which may be of use to us, we will certainly be most grateful.

There are no firm plans as yet to offer this particular upgrade to
customers of existing Xda devices, but we are studying market demand
for this platform, and we will certainly consider offering it in the
future if there are sufficient requests for it from our customers.

It's not going to happen.
Besides, O2 are not resonsible for putting WM5 on the device (if it was to happen) but HTC are. The only things O2 put on it are some of the applets in the extended ROM.
So O2 in India is gonna make WM5 for the Magician?
Well, I guess this is just another example of an incompetent support worker not knowing what the heck he is talking about, but still try to give a positive respons. Unless, that is, they got a copy of Raptorz 'WM5' and got fooled too

As we sell about all the well known brands of phones here, it can be a bit tricky to find a phone for a customer from which I can be sure it supports SAP (Sim Access Profile).
Does anybody of you know a site where I can find a list of phones that support this bluetooth profile?

Hello and Good Night, I am From Catia la Mar, Venezuela, the reason I’m writing this post right now is this… "I am from Venezuela", I’ll try to explain myself, even with my english has been a little rusty, actually in my country the situation is gettin even worse, I bet some of you guys have listen something about it, Yeah I know, you guys don’t have the blame, I don’t come here to blame nobody, I just want to ask you a little help, even when you guys have your bussiness and don’t have any reason to help a little guy like me, but I am here, beggin for help, let me tell you what is the problem, a friend of mine left the country and goes to Panama, he bought in a second hand store a Nokia Lumia 620, just to gift it to me when he’s back, why? Because I don’t have a phone, and is getting even harder to bought a phone with this economy, it is becoming impossible, so I really appreciate his help, but what is the problem? The Phone was Movistar Locked, so we wrote an email to them and they just said to goes to Movistar here in Venezuela and they should unlock it, so we did that, but when we got there, they said we have to “legalize” the Phone and that will cost almost half what the phone cost, so, we said “whatever, is better tan buy the phone again” so I sold some stuff and paid that “legalization thing”, but guess what? The phone now is Movistar Locked for Venezuela, and I don’t use Movistar, I use Digitel, I’m using Digitel from more than 12 years and I don’t want to change, but even that, I said “What ever… lets buy a Movistar Chip”, BUT GUESS WHAT? The Chip Cost Millions! And the Mensual Rent is so expensive, cuz they don’t let me buy a chip with a basic rent, nope, they want me to buy the more expensive they have, and if I ask to the basic one, they just “don’t have” ….
SO, Here I am, writing this post to you guys, honestly, if I could buy a service to unlock the phone believe me, I would, Even before the “Legalization thing”, I would, but I can’t, even if I want to, I can’t, I guess you guys know my country is having one of the worst economy problems ever, just thanks to the government, and that “currency control” that should “fix” the problem is only getting it worse, we can’t, literally CAN’T buy anything outside the country, not even the dollars to pay a online service or shop in amazon, nothing, cero, not paypal, not anything… so, even if I want to buy a unlock service, I can’t, you can search on internet about the problems of my country to see that I’m not liying, and well, I really need the phone, even if isn’t much, even if is a basic phone, I really need it, and I would like to know if there is a chance to you guys help me, just for once, one simple unlock, I know you guys have better things to do, but I’m having kind of a bad luck these days, and I will be happy if there is some way you guys can help to unlock this simple phone.

That sounds like a horrible ordeal and I've never heard about 'legalizing' phones. I'd love to help but unfortunately I can't give you any insight about that device or your carriers.
