delete bluetooth pairing information - General Topics

is there a program that can delete bluetooth pairing information for a device?
i have a scosche bluelife car kit and its bluetooth 1.2 therefore a2dp does not auto reconnect. so every time i get in the car i have to goto the buletooth connection settings and delete the scosche device from the list, and re-pair it. nice thing tho is it auto pairs when i turn the car on, so if its not on the list when i turn the car on a message pops up on my phone to pair with the scosche kit. so yah, are there any programs out there so i can make this process a little easier?
thanks!

I own a parrot carkit with bt v1.2 but never experienced this.
But you can try HTC BT quicklink. it makes a shortcut on the desktop where you can create a BT link.
Also go to HKLM\software\microsoft\bluetooth\device\"some number"\trusted
and make sure it is set to 1

i was told that A2DP in 1.2 willnot auto reconnect. the handsfree will auto reconnect with 1.2, but A2DP doesnt until 2.0. this is what scosche told me anyways.

Thought I would post this here for viewing distribution...

I am currently using the A2DPToggle which I find very handy, especially the signal strength bar. The Bluetooth mouse & SmartBar also captured my attention...
I just got my new bluetooth car stereo installed today and A2DPtoggle is a must have!
I was just wondering if you thought instead of one click to sync up we could get it to automatically based on if the phone portion of the bluetooth hooked up. Basically in my car stereo the phone sync automatically and i have to hit a2dptoggle to sync up the music portion, why couldn't we just go based on whether the phone portion synced up.
I believe it may be dependant upon the device you are trying to sync. For example:
A Stereo Bluetooth headset or vehicle Bluetooth reciever may automatically launch it's stereo profiles whereas a simple handsfree-equipped headset may have to be sync manually.
Since A2DP correlates directly with stereo profiles and not mono (or basic handsfree profiles) it may be safe to assume this much. With that said I have (2) Bluetooth headsets; a Jabra BT8010 (Stereo & Handsfree) headset & BlueAnt Micro X3 (Handsfree). Both sync automatically with my 6800 but the Jabra launches it's stereo profile while the BlueAnt launches its handsfree. I do not have a vehicle BT receiver to test with. I also use no2chem's 5047 rom which has the lastest BT stacks...
love that companies products. specially the keyboard.
I'm sure a bit of mortscript could sort this out pretty easily.

Polaris and Parrot MK6100

does any1 succeeded using the polaris with parrot mk6100?
i have a problem: after a call the phone is disconnecting from the car kit. the car kit still thinks its connected, though. after a minute or so, the kit displays "disconnected" and then "connected", and then the phone is connected and i can make calls or play music again. but i have this 1 min+- of no connection after each call.
in case someone using the mk6100, please let me know your rom/radio version/and a2dp settings if possible.
thanks.
I can't make any suggestions, as I haven't purchased the MK6100 yet, but I have owned many A2DP devices, and have had to in the past with my old phone modify the registry to optimize the connection. I haven't noticed any such issues with the Polaris and my current A2DP headphones and stereo adapter.
Please post what results you do find as the MK6100 is at the top of my list for A2DP in the car.

BT reconnect

I am using I-tech clip radio it support A2DP, AVRC with buit in FM radio receiver and sound quality is great.
But i am facing a problem -
My Wizard detects it as 1.Wireless Stereo and 2.hands free
After paring it plays music and handle call very well
Once i switch off BT on phone then again switch on to reconnect it connects only Hands Free part not Wireless Stereo - so music doesn't come on Hands free
If i start A2DP from Battery Status it transfers music but very poor sound quality and AVRC function.
I even tried Widcomm BT Stack but no help.
So after every switch on/off of BT i have to delete and pair it again with my phone.
Please help
I have same problem
rom TNT 273
genius bt-03i
sometimes it hepls when I turn my headphones off and on again and at bluetooth devices I tap and hold stylus on my phones and click set as wireless stereo, sometimes I have to unpair and pair again...
Solved
If i follow these steps it works -
OFF
1. switch off BT on phone
2. Switch off Handsfree
ON
3. Switch on Handsfree
4. Switch on BT on Phone in Connectable mode
5. After few seconds in BT config panel select & hold on listed handsfree set as wireless stereo
This process works very well
in my BT panel "Set as wireless stereo" stays grey after this procedure :-(
running tnt series pro on a g3 and trying to connect Jabra BT-320s

A2DP Problem??

Was wondering how i can set my device to auto-connect with my Pioneer stereo.
This is the initial problem:
I pair my Raphael with my Pioneer car stereo - When I initially pair the BT to my stereo i get hands free and wireless stereo, however after this when my phone connects it only connects to the hands free. IT WILL NOT CONNECT AGAIN UNLESS THE PARTNERSHIP IS DELETED AND RE-ADDED - it will not pair if i click "set as wireless stereo" in the bluetooth settings of the phone, or when I click play on my car stereo.
I want when the phone so that when it comes into range of my stereo that it auto connects to both A2DP and hands free, I also want this to be automatic, ie not using A2DPToggle.
Any help would be appriciated
Thanks in advance,

a2dp problem
same problem here... i have to delete the device everytime, refresh, search and reconnect to use the a2dp function. handsfree for calling mobile works fine..
need some help.. may be a little tweak in the bluetooth function..
thanks
Same here most times - although occasionally it works OK... very annoying!
You might check your Pioneer manual. I have a Sony BT CD player and I have to push the number 6 on the head unit to reconnect it everytime I get in my car. I wish it automatically connected but this is quite easy for me. I would have never figured it out if I didn't read the manual.
I have checked the manuals and there is no mention of needing to push anything on the deck. I want my phone to auto connect - i know that this must be possible to do when it connects with my hands free as a2dp Toggle does it, but you have to press a button on the prog that connects it , I want it to be automatic
yeah, ive always had that problem with my pioneer headunit
Same problem for my TP with Jabra Speakerphone. any update?

Goto your Bluetooth settings and enable "Make this device visible to other devices" , should solve your problem. I also have a Pioneer BT headunit in my car, and that corrected it.

Program to switch bluetooth on and A2DP

I currently have a program called cicleBT that turns BT on and off with the push of a button (without having to navigate thru to the comm manager)...
Would it be hard to make a program that did this and then once bluetooth was on it would automatically make my first BT device "set as wireless stereo"??
i find it a pain that everytime i want to hook up my stereo headphones i have to go into the bluetooth settings and set it as wireless stereo after turning on device visible to other devices...
What would i need to be able to do to do this?
thanks
This isn't the software your asking for, but once your headphones have established the headset link, try pressing the play button on them. Works on all bluetooth headphones I've used.
