Was wondering how i can set my device to auto-connect with my Pioneer stereo.
This is the initial problem:
I pair my Raphael with my Pioneer car stereo - When I initially pair the BT to my stereo i get hands free and wireless stereo, however after this when my phone connects it only connects to the hands free. IT WILL NOT CONNECT AGAIN UNLESS THE PARTNERSHIP IS DELETED AND RE-ADDED - it will not pair if i click "set as wireless stereo" in the bluetooth settings of the phone, or when I click play on my car stereo.
I want when the phone so that when it comes into range of my stereo that it auto connects to both A2DP and hands free, I also want this to be automatic, ie not using A2DPToggle.
Any help would be appriciated
Thanks in advance,

a2dp problem
same problem here... i have to delete the device everytime, refresh, search and reconnect to use the a2dp function. handsfree for calling mobile works fine..
need some help.. may be a little tweak in the bluetooth function..
thanks
Same here most times - although occasionally it works OK... very annoying!
You might check your Pioneer manual. I have a Sony BT CD player and I have to push the number 6 on the head unit to reconnect it everytime I get in my car. I wish it automatically connected but this is quite easy for me. I would have never figured it out if I didn't read the manual.
I have checked the manuals and there is no mention of needing to push anything on the deck. I want my phone to auto connect - i know that this must be possible to do when it connects with my hands free as a2dp Toggle does it, but you have to press a button on the prog that connects it , I want it to be automatic
yeah, ive always had that problem with my pioneer headunit
Same problem for my TP with Jabra Speakerphone. any update?

Goto your Bluetooth settings and enable "Make this device visible to other devices" , should solve your problem. I also have a Pioneer BT headunit in my car, and that corrected it.

I am looking for a quick and easy way to integrate my trinity with my car.
Currently I have have a generic car mount with charger. However, I find that TomTom and telephone calls over the speakers are too quiet.
I was thinking of installing a Parrot MK6000 in my car as a method to stream audio from my trinity to the car stereo whilst also acting as a car kit for hands free use while driving. Has anybody had any experience with wiring up this kit? is it easy for a moderate level electronics users (able to solder wires proficiently etc.) to wire up?
Alternatively does anybody know of other solutions to integrate the trinity with the car stereo?
Hello:
I installed this hands free in my car, and it works really fine as a hands free. The audio streaming works well too, but the sound is quite methalic. With tomtom, there is a delay in the sound, the first word it says, for example "...Turn on the left in...." you listen "...urn on the left in ..." and it hanpens allways when tomtom starts to talk.
My OS version is wm5 and I read that wm6 solves this problem.
I recently bought a LG LAC7700R (carstereo with bluetooth and cd/mp3/wma player, with a seperate mic you can place somewhere in your car) works good, up to 5 phones can connect, last six called contacts it will remember. no phonebook in carstereo. Carstereo mutes automaticly by incoming call. You can even use BT audiostream.
i have always BT on, on my phone, it will connect by itself with the carstereo.
works fine for me.
now i am looking for a nice phoneholder with only a charger.

I have a similar setup, with the Sony MEX-BT2500 instead.
However I did not manage to route the Tomtom or iGO sound over the BT A2DP stream.
As a charging holder I have the Brodit Cradle installed.

check this, maybe it will help:
goto bt settings in your phone and activate bluetooth stereo on. that's the thing for play mp3's and navigationvoices over BT. The handsfree mode is for phone voice. (leave that on!)
does sony support a2dp ? maybe that's the problem.

Actually I bought the Sony because it supports A2DP. And with MortPlayer it works flawless when listening music. With activated Bluetooth Stereo (Headphone Symbol in top bar) Tomtom still uses the internal speaker.
Hey All,
I have a Diamond, and a cardo rider Q2 for my motorbike helmet. They pair up nicely for phone calls, but I cannot get music to stream to the helmet.
All other functions work fine. If I press a button on the phone the sound of the button comes through.
The annoying thing is that my friend has a N95 and it works just fine, so I know the headset is capable.
Is there some setting that I need to change? Or a download to fix this?
Any help would be appreciated. And please take it easy on me as I am not very capable with technology.
Thanks In advance
Adam
Adam,
Double click on the icon of the paired headphones on the bluetooth screen and make sure that Wireless Stereo is ticked.
The system is using two profiles- one for phone calls (headphones) and the other for music (Wireless Stereo). Yout helmet BT earphones should be able to switch in between as long as they are enabled.
CD
Hey CD, thanks, I tried that, but..
When I do that it only gives me the option of "hands free".
If I plug in my wired HTC head phones while maintaining the blue tooth connection to my helmet and play music the music comes through the wired headset, but when I try to voice activate an outgoing phone call the music changes from the wired headset to the bluetooth headset temporarily.
I have the same problem (posted on another thread) Jabra 320's I use to cycle to work, worked OK with my SE W880i. But like you the TD only registers 'hands free', I have checked the profile in BT and it only shows hands free, there is no BT Stereo box to tick/untick. I have tried installing/uninstalling and using a third party BT program (recommend in a previous thread) and have just upgraded to the new official Rom all to no avail.
I think the TD likes some stereo headset's but sees some others as just a mono handsfree unit.

I have the same Jabra 320's... finally got them working as Wireless stereo pressing the main button again and again during pairing... I didn't know it was going to work - It was out of frustration!!!
I tried several times with my 320's (deleted, re-installed, tried different ways/software) all to no avail.
There is a software upgrade for the 320's on the Jabra site but you need a special usb connector to flash the unit.
In the end I picked up the newer BT3030 cheaply on e-bay and they were recognised straight away as Handsfree and stereo BT streaming.
Both the 320's and 3030's have the A2DP profile, so not sure why the don't see the 320's correctly?
So happily cycling to work again with the BT3030 and listening to BT stereo.
In order for you to do what you want your headset must support A2DP Bluetooth profile (and even if it does it may not work!). That is the profile needed to send stereo music from the HTC. Most handsfree units do not do that - they just support headset and handset Bluetooth profiles.
There is a utility available called BTMusic that can be downloaded free from here. This will allow music to be sent using the headset or handset Bluetooth profiles, and it worked with my Parrot car kit, so it may work for you. The problem is that it is mono only and the quality of the sound is not brilliant - after all these profiles were never designed for that.
So the alternative is to find a new headset that supports both handsfree and A2DP profiles and works with both.
umm yea... i went through EVERY SINGLE thread this thing has. none of the programs work for me period.
I am using I-tech clip radio it support A2DP, AVRC with buit in FM radio receiver and sound quality is great.
But i am facing a problem -
My Wizard detects it as 1.Wireless Stereo and 2.hands free
After paring it plays music and handle call very well
Once i switch off BT on phone then again switch on to reconnect it connects only Hands Free part not Wireless Stereo - so music doesn't come on Hands free
If i start A2DP from Battery Status it transfers music but very poor sound quality and AVRC function.
I even tried Widcomm BT Stack but no help.
So after every switch on/off of BT i have to delete and pair it again with my phone.
Please help
I have same problem
rom TNT 273
genius bt-03i
sometimes it hepls when I turn my headphones off and on again and at bluetooth devices I tap and hold stylus on my phones and click set as wireless stereo, sometimes I have to unpair and pair again...
Solved
If i follow these steps it works -
OFF
1. switch off BT on phone
2. Switch off Handsfree
ON
3. Switch on Handsfree
4. Switch on BT on Phone in Connectable mode
5. After few seconds in BT config panel select & hold on listed handsfree set as wireless stereo
This process works very well
in my BT panel "Set as wireless stereo" stays grey after this procedure :-(
running tnt series pro on a g3 and trying to connect Jabra BT-320s
Hi,
Yesterday, I installed a new car stereo and after a lot of frustration installing it, I was happily surprised the A2DP worked by default, just paired my touch pro with my stereo, start playing in wmp and it comes through my stereo system. However during the day I started looking for another player to use (during my breaks of course ) and installed pocket music player bundle ( I don't know if it has anything to do with my problem, just trying to include as much info as I can ). In the evening I enabled bluetooth of my phone again, I think I also had the headphone logo, but when trying to play using pocket music player and wmp, it always just used the speaker of the phone and didn't seem to send anything through A2DP.
Any idea how this can be? Is there a setting somewhere to change what audio is used (A2DP/Speaker/ whatever...)?
TIA!
OK, this seems to have been quite stupid.
Haven't been in my car since, but same behaviour with my logitech a2dp bluetooth headset.
Going into bluetooth settings, "right click" on logi_stereoV01 and "instellen als draadloos stereo" (set-up as wireless stereo) did the trick, probably the same for my CAR--BT,sorry for the stupid post.
Although it would be nice if the touch pro would automatically set the detected bluetooth device as wireless stereo every time, just as it seems to do for setting it headset when in range while turning on the bluetooth.
Sorry for the strange sentences... it was a long day
same problem
i just bought a bluetooth receiver for the car.
it fits in the lighter place and transmits via FM to the car radio.
My htc connected staight away (no code required to me) with the new "car Kit" found, but whatever i try i always have the sound from the htc speaker...
How can i solve this?
Thanx in advace.
Hi!
the radio in my car doesn't have bluetooth (BT) so I need to use a BT audio adapter that I plug in the audio jack. THis would be the first device that I want to connect with my Honor 8. Because I don't want to switch tracks over the phone display, I would like to connect a bluetooth remote too that is attached to the steering wheel. FInally I would like to use a BT headset to make/answer calls while driving.
So there would be 3 BT devices that need to be connected to my phone at the same time...
Have any of you tried this? Should / can this work?
Thanks for your thoughts!
Greetz Ric
You can do that if you use 3 different protocol.
1. BT headset-phone audio
2.Bt aux-media audio(this give music audio and dedicated music control)
3. BT remote-have to be some kind of input type.
My setup for proof of concept using BT speaker, BT headset and BT remote(in pic)
I haven't had any luck connecting to my car's Bluetooth with emui 5.1 so I wish you the best of luck bud! I'm back to the aux cord life until something gets fixed. Please keep us posted on how things work out for you.
