Hi all,i've tried to change the camera of the magician with the camera of one htc s310, that is phisically equal (but better). the magician naturally doesn't find the camera and doesn't start the camera.exe app.
So i've tryed to extract the drivers from the s310 (cameradriver.dll and cameradriver_m.dll) but i can't. the phone hangs and i can't copy them.
anyone knows a solution?

I am looking for this one as well. Found another one but has far less functions, only phone turn on/off instead of sound/vibrate.
that one is on this forum, but I want the one in the picture, which has far more options.

Correct (given the two softkey buttons at the bottom).
But now that you've seen this post, if you did your research <winks> , you'd see its the same for SmartPhone too (albeit the buttons have NUMBERS on them, for the SmartPhone version).
And as I now have a Wizard to add to my existing two tornados, either or both versions would be fine anyway folks...
Shadamehr, what do you think you gain with installing this executable on your current WM5 Tornado's?
I've added the Commanager files from a C600 AKU2.0 ROM. I doubt it will work on your Tornado but you can try.
I was able to get the Comm Manager to work on a tornado SDA(US) but it wouldn't stay connected. I think I might also need ActiveSync from the rom.

That picture may be, however in the Imate sp5m WWE rom my comm manager looks just like that, and yes this is a tornado (T-Mobile SDA US).

Can somebody help me please tell me why if I open am application and after that when I run another application over the first one, the second one stays on the screen but when I want to go back to the first application, is not anymore opened?! It closes automaticaly. so I can`t run 2 or more programs at once on my ppc and I have no idea why. I`ve tried different programs but it happends the same thing . I have 23-24 free RAM memory on my device and I don`t think that is the problem. I use an ETEN M800 64mb RAM vga screen with WM 6.1. I have the same experience with WM 6.0 and different versions of ROMs. Can somebody help please?! Thanx.

do you not have a camera built into your phone?
My phone has a physical camera, but the ROM itself has the generic Windows Mobile Camera application. Not the one that controls the Flash etc. I found that the Kitchens have the Camera Application and Drivers but I would have to cook my own ROM. I like the ROM the way it is right now, just desired a better a camera application like what came with the phone when it was WM5.
which rom is it? and do you have it hardwired to a button?
on some roms, there is a "second camera app" that you can get to using PIMG (standard picture browser)
Please list more info. chanses are that you already have it installed, but you may need a shortcut in the program files.
I used netremote on my htc 9100, but after upgrading to htc touch pro and installing the netremote app it give "netremote is not a valid pocket pc aplication".

The PPC has an 'optimization' where any DLL that's loaded into memory that has the same name as a DLL your app is trying to load will be used instead of the one that's in the same folder as your app. I bet that's what's happening here. It's the PPC version of DLL Hell. The hard part will be finding out which DLL it is.

I would like to install Real VGA and the other 2 DPI cab files into my Italian htc x7510 WM 6.1 pro but, beig really a newbye,...WHERE have I to put these files ? In wich Folders ?
2nd Question...Is there any risk ? It seems someone in the forum had problems due to the WM 6.1... Is there someone who tried successfully Real VGA on an Italian version ? With wich precautions ?

I've used RealVGA on my x7510 since I got it w/o any problems at all. Works great and it makes the huge display really worthwhile.
When you install it be sure to install to main memory, not the flash drive or a storage card -- that's true for the RealVGA program and both dpi programs. Then reboot your x7510, open RealVGA, select whichever dpi you want and it will reboot again -- should then work fine.

I had a similar problem (not ony with excel but with any program with a box to edit a number).
I think that the problem is with the SIP keyboard that does not work on 96/128 dpi. Install another SIP keyboard (like resco keyboard) and all should work fine again.
Or you could just drop the three files in the attached RAR into your Windows folder...

I installed Real VGA and also the file you suggested but there are still problems:
1) first of all there is a message that msimit.128.dll and msimit.96.dll are missing. Where can i find them ?
2) some programs do not run properly: e.g. in Agenda Fusion 8.60 contacts, the icons commads at the bottom are not displayed.
3) If it will become necessary, how can I go back to the original display ?
you must copy the msim.128.dll and msim.96.dll to another folder, rename it to msimit.128.dll and msimit.96.dll, and copy back to windows-folder
if you want your original display with 192dpi, start real vga and set it to 192dpi, restart, ready. some progs are not working with that, eg s2u2 will not go back to 192dpi

I solved the problem with missing msimit : it was enough a files' rename.
Still open instead the problem with Agenda Fusion 8.6 (Developer One). At 192 dpi works properly but, at 96 and 128 dpi, even working well, the icon buttons at the bottom pages disappear, so that commands are not available.
Anyone knows a way to solve it ?
