could any one please tell me how to hard reset the xda2 please

keep the power button pushed in and soft reset (put stylus in little hole side bottom left).

HELP my TP wont start

i did a soft reset, after that the screen turn black with the word TOUCH pro and the red letters and it stuck there..
it dont start..!!!
someone help please..

what did you do BEFORE you soft reset it?

i have installed eLiAs_HTCDlg_Killer1.1 aka softkiller or killersoft dont remember and eLiAs_ASyncKiller aka synckiller..!!!
and right now a screen appear saying: "The device is unable to boot beacause either you have turned off the device incorrectly or tried to install an application from untrusted source, Press SEND to reset your device or press any other button to cancel, This operation will delete all your personal data and restore the device to its factory default settings."
so press the SEND button (below the house icon) and nothing happen..!!!
help please...

pressing volume down button + enter?? (the round button)?? what else??

and push the reset button...

which is the reset button or where is it?? i cant find it :S mine is a HTC Touch Pro..!!!

Hard Reset: vol-down and enter (round buttong, then insert the stylus into the hole in the bottom of the device.

hold volume down and the round enter button, then use the stylus to press the reset button next to the USB port

I have a very tricky question:
Does anybody know how to perform a hardreset if your volume up/down keys don't work. I bricked my raphael with a backup and the volume keys where faulty for a long time. Now I hang at the blue starting screen and thats it

Not sure if you're comfortable with taking your raph apart, but sometimes if you press the key directly w/o the housing it works.

You can hardreset your device by the following:
start=> settings=>system=> clear storage

2. remove battery for a few seconds then put it back in again.
3. turn it on again.
Hard reset: 1. turn off your phone.
2. PRESS AND HOLD the center of the directional keypad (OK button).
3. press the power button. do not release the OK button.
4. Unit will ask you if you want to reset. press yes.

just go to settings and then security thene you should find something about hard reseting or soft reset
