I am not able to decide between these 2. I want something fast with GPS, Wifi and a camera. You guys have experience, please help me decide which one is faster?

Thanks for the reply...I guess with Ameo, Jeans pockets are out of question. So, I would need to lug it around in either a small man-purse kinda thingy or in my bag...hmmm...i am willing to do this if it is fast enough...

my jeans have rather large pockets and it fitted in them just (x7500).
what you need to decide is would you prefer a large screen and microdrive to small size?

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Well, I used to own a Nokia 7710(3.5" screen)...considered really big when it was out(friends actually made fun of me saying that i was carrying a pencil box or a brick) and well, to be honest..i loved it for its big screen ...Internet was a breeze on the big screen...so i would love the big screen on Ameo too...
Well, I guess it might fit(after some struggle)...I wear 32"...how does it perform,..is it fast and snappy. Comparisons to iphone or touch cruise will help immensely...

but.. i love my touch pro 2, but i love the design of verizon's sleep black look, could i swap the housing considering their both cdma?.. i've been told yes, but i dont know where to look, i did a search but it came up with housing for the old touch.. not for this, any help?? =)
I would say maybe. They seem very similar, but I think there would have to be a lot of delicate work involved transplanting the screen and keyboard.

I used my Hero on the bike.
Great when going for long cycle rides to track the distance/elevation...etc.
Never even worried me as the holders are very good.

It would be fun on a bike but I think I'd be scared. Maybe in a few months I'll be less precious about it.

ahhh ok i got it to work. i want the car dock but there's no price. also as far as a Stylus goes.... where did you go for that?

Nope, but I'm not that bothered about a stylus. Should be interesting to see how sturdy it is. Don't like the look of how close the track ball is to the base, for $26 it's worth finding out though.
I know this has probably been answered elsewhere, but the dock connections on the bottom of the Nexus, are we to assume they do charging and data connection without having to have a plug go into the micro USB port?

yeah you do got a point. i mean for $26 bucks you cant really go wrong. ill stay tuned to this thread to see your review of the product. what was the total cost with shipping? and where did it get shipped to? what state that is?

yeah. im guessing your guess is as good as mine. but for some strange i believe that the dock that you ordered will be charging using a USB connection. but like i said ill keep my eye on this thread to see how you make out.
It appears they do that unfathomable thing of shipping free worldwide like some Chinese companies seem to be able to do. Mine's being shipped to the UK.

What do you mean? What does the weight of the phone have to do with anything?
The lens is mounted to the case that comes with it as far as I can see, if you're worried about the weight of the phone being a bit too much for the whole construction... I'd say the phone should be able to care a lot more then it's own weight.

Hello all. I tried to do some reading but due to illness have limited time i can read . So my screen is secerly cracked but amazingly its still repsonsive ive seen nillkin iloome and a couple othwrs but since this is an s pen screen i wanted to ask people who deal with the 8.0. I cant afford a fix.or at least im assuming i cant. So any suggestions would be a huge help for me
Edit: i have amazon prime and use ebay so if you have a certain seller or item youve had great luck with if love to hear about them, especially if i can dhave off a few bucks or free shipping but ultimately i will go for whatever helps me survive this even if my beloved device is osmetically challenged

Buy only the glass and change it yourself?
How difficult is this? Is there a tutorial link. I have tremors and spasticity in hands from spinal disease but I may give it a try if double. Thanks for the response. Any other thoughts are welcomed and appreciated

does your screen cracked severely or small crack only? if small, you could go for glass screen protector only for $9 just to hold the glass stable with pressure spread evenly. if it hinder your usage i suggest replacing would be an option because note 8 is still a great device and i use it a lot in my study so for me repairing it would be a great investment. if you thought about changing it yourself, its not that hard but still need a stable hand but still very moderate for people with no experience. Just think about it, buying a new tablet is a waste unless you get tablet that is more powerful than note 8.
edit: Im sorry for your hand, i hope you get better soon
edit again: you might want to consider replacing it sooner, with a crack, unwanted things can get through the crack and can damage the internal if you're not careful

I'm so sorry if a thread like this has already been created but I haven't found one and I'm starting to freak out. Today my Oneplus One fell out of my pocket and at first I didn't notice a thing and shoved it right back in the pocket. A few hours ago I attempted to use it and noticed that the screen had ghost touches and that I couldn't control it myself. Even the hardware navigation buttons are dead. Power and volume buttons seem to be working but since I can't use the screen that's not really useful .
Do you have any idea of something I could to fix that? Any help would be appreciated.

What more could've been done than ordering the display from eBay/aliexpress and replace it yourself following tutorials on YouTube? It's pretty cheap and easy actually.
Wanna make it more easy and have some more bucks to spend? Buy display+frame,so that you don't have to do much except putting and glueing stuff.

This is just the display,no frame included.Do you have heatstation or a good blow dryer at your home? If yes,that should do fine,and even if you're doing this first time,it won't matter if the display comes out cracked and messed up 'cause your display is feked up anyway.
Otherwise,as I already said,you could always spend a few more bucks and go with display+frame and save yourself a bit of time and hassle.

I suggest you buy this one with frame,it is actually damn cheap..just a few bucks over display alone.
