First Clown,
Try giving respect to GnatGoSplat and others for porting the wing rom to a wizard. Second when everyone else know you will know, just like you many people want the cab file for myfaves or standalone install for the wizard or any htc device. When that happens check the link in the first post. Look on XDA, Google IT,
BUT don't come on here disrespecting people who are busting their ass not to mention XDA for keeping this site up.

I don't know what your suggesting with your little post there, CDguider. I was not suggesting that the fact that we now have a wing rom on the wizard as being lame. I was just stating my frustration that this post made it seem like we now have an all encompasing myfaves app for our phones. This isnt the case. I was clearly stating this in the post so nobody else was at all confused. I read throughout the entire post for the wing rom. I appreciate the efforts. I've been using my wizard for quite sometime now and have lived with the fact that I have to swap sims to a myfaves enabled phone to get the changes to save through. I think I can manage a little while longer (and will be watching that post for any updates, of course.)
And since when was saying something as simple as "Lame" disrespectful. Not near as disrespectful as CAPS and Boldface characters.
Oh... and I see you live in Wichita, Do you work at the call center also?

By the way I do not know GnatGoSplat, I just appreciate the work that he and other put into this rom, I could not find myfaves anywhere besides, official extraction thread, etc.
I now live in Buford, GA, I lived in Wichita KS my whole life, I did work for tmobile when the call center hadn't been built, seniority number 4, there was like 500 of us had to draw for it, we were all at a college because the facility was being built so we trained there, anyways this chic from tampa bay I believe trained she pissed me off and training, I walked out

I am pretty sure guys that you dont need the MyFavs part of the rom for the call filtering to work. Ive been using my Qtek 9100 (Tmobile MDA) for a month now. And it has filtered my minutes. Notice that your MyFavs contacts are stored on your online account with TMO. All the MyFavs does is give you graphical user interface.

See this is a pretty strange thing... Sometimes it works perfectly fine if you set it up on the internet. Other times i have seen peoples accounts completely messed up because they didnt have a myfaves phone. All i know is what you HAVE to do if your not using a myfaves phone. the myfaves system sends a confirmation to the phone whether you do it from the handset or the internet. The confirmation checks the phone for myfaves. If you dont have myfaves on the handset it wont confirm. That means all you have to do is set your myfaves when you have a myfaves handset handy. Just pop your sim card into the handset to set the myfaves.
And there are myfaves serial numbers... We are supposed to do an IMEI check each time we set up myfaves on anybodies accounts. We can tell with the imei even in the same handset if its myfaves or not and whether its myfaves 1.5 or 2.0 the new version out.
I almost forgot I was going to try to extract the MyFaves. It was requested around or before Christmas and I completely forgot about it. It's not going to be easy for me to test since I don't subscribe to MyFaves so I'm sure the first few CABs I release probably won't work at all. I'll add this to my ToDo list unless somebody beats me to it.

trying to fix my no gsm/ ext rom problem on my hp ipaq hw6925, somehow yesterday i change the model number and erased the whole thing with some mtty commands, the next rom utility i used was 6915 and it made my phone that model number strange.

ok im just going to say you shouldnt check this post for a couple days because other users are going to flame the hell out of you.
Now, there are things that we here at xda-developers have done to our phone to make them work very fast and become very reliable. I suggest that you look at some other posts and try to figure things out.
There will be a picture of your phone and then there will be different sub-forums, please just look.
You could at least type "what is wi-fi" into google, it'll will tell you the answer in less then a second.
But getting back to your post, im running Wm6 on my HTC Wizard, and it's incredibly fast and reliable.
so what are you trying to get across that you don't like your phone? And what do you mean about deceiving us.. who are we( this thread) deceiving. You posted this in the Wizard Mobile 6 part of the forum but you don't mention anything about WM6? so I dont understand what your trying to get at except that your unhappy with your device which I'm sry for but this site has done nothing but wonders for me and i thank everyone for helping out esp with my questions that are sometimes dumb.

I do not have any problems with my phone!!! Do you know why i dont? cus i took the time to research about my phone and read what can be done to it to make it so much better. Yes when i first got the phone with the T-mobile rom, i was abit let down, but that is cus the rom was badly made. But i am now running WM6 and it is running faster then i have ever had it, and i built it myself use a kitchen, so it is how i want it not some company.
Can i just say that the phone goes for about £200, I could have got you a Good PDA for less that will "read some books , apply few calendars , perform some tasks". And that you dont know what WIFI is and dont want to know, just says alot about you!!! I would just sell it to someone that knows What to do, and go back to using call boxes, (thats if you could work that out)

2nd I bought that device to help me in my job as i'm a doctor and have many
references , cases , calendars , and my patients' tasks, etc.
by the way the OS now in my device is your Xplore 1.1
In our country the mean monthly income is about 80$ (not me of course)
and this device costs me about 440 $
3rd question yes this device turns me mad as I surprised with it hanged and lost my incoming calls and sms
I tried everything I could and later I entered this forum may be I found an
answer to my problems
It doesn't matter to me if Wi-Fi , GPRS are excellent or not as these are not
of my importance
at all I thought I finished carrying my lab-top everywhere and replaced it with

i would really like to use this option but the wm5 is not an option for me.
i have arround 4000 contacts and wm5 is extremly slow to consult and call a contact. on the other hand, wm6 beta is very quick and i'm addicted to it!
i tried to go back to wm5 so i could use the video call but i quitted a few hours later...
so... is there a prognostic on this matter?

Unless the developers themselves are interested in using video call, it's not gonna happen.
Few people use the video call function... If they don't see the need, then they won't focus on fixing it.

As a developer myself (PC).. I usually just create applications or fix things that I am paid to do. If Im not paid to do it, I just tend to to things that cater to my own needs.
My point is.. if a ROM developer does not need video call, why bother fixing it? Are they being paid to fix it?
Although monetary benefit is not always the best motivator, most people can also get motivated in doing things for self-gratification, if they are being praised, or hearing people say "thanks", "i love you!!!" or "you're my hero!" also works.

But some of us really need the videocall function and that's the main reason why some people use WM5... Even with an older ROM, we (yes I'm one of those who install back Helmi's WM5 AKU3.5 ROM) are able to explore all Universal’s functions.
There's anyone still working on it? In January videocall issue as faced like a resolving soon problem

I thought there is a cab file to put in the video call??? I tried it on the last rom and it works but incoming caller ID was being pushed out of the screen hence i uninstalled it..

Some of us bought it because it was a good pda with a vga screen, full qwerty keyboard, UMTS (for data) and was at a good price (I got mine for £250 off eBay). Also, point me to a device with the same specs that is cheaper and without video calling... Thats what I thought - there isn't one....
In Australia there is only one carrier that supports video calling and, at the time of purchase, I wasn't with them.
Don't get me wrong - I would love video calling. But if you want it so desperately ask what you can do to help, rather than moaning about it. I do believe that JWright produced a beta for his ROM - see how that went and see if you can improve it.
And, if you aren't a developer:
What are you doing on these forums?????
Register your interest (ie vote in the poll)
Ask, politely, once
Switch back to WM5 if your desperate
Remember: ALL OF THESE ROMS ARE BETAS. Most of them have a lot of issues fixed and I'm sure that the developers are working on Video Calling... just be patient and have faith

Funny damn thing is this. They coud have inventoried them and then gave them to us but rather they, some of the ATT employee's, were being lazy so I just had to find a store that would sell it to me.
First impressions... Software complaints... Yes I want it all.

Second, Youtube, Where are you??? I can go to the site but the youtube application sure the hell doesn't work cause I can't even find it.
Third, The messaging feature is way cooller than the proprietary WM6.1 junk but what sux is that A. id doesn't collect all the messages for you from one person... and B. when you reply it just goes back to the native WM6.1 isn't there a way someone could get this to be the actuall text program???
Forth, Where the hell is the external camera button. I will first thing change the PTT to the camera button but what the heck would you get rid of this for?
Fifth, where is the damn program that cuts songs mid stream and allows you to have them as a ring tone???

Keep in mind that a lot of the stuff you are looking for is in the Diamond forum since that was the first phone with this interface. You might want to try searching there also.

Thanks... would it be possible for the texting through the touch3d interface... And lastly, could someone write something that would enable windows live to be underneath the new youtube icon?
I like threaded text and wish the interface did it as well. I just hate the format in which WM 6.1 does it in... Does that make sense?

Since this is obviously a redundant thread created by someone who didn't spend much time looking, i think you should be careful with the words that you choose. The was correct in saying that most of what you requested is easy to find if you look for it. If you have a questions related to FM radio, you might try posting it in the threads already talking about the FM radio feature. Also, maybe posting ideas about development of TF3D in any of the existing TF3D threads. I bet the guys who are best suited to integrate the features you're looking for will see it there.

Can someone post confirmations for these installations working on the ATT Fuze - just to help a newb get more confident before purchasing?

Most stuff that runs on the diamond will run on the touch pro, and almost everything that runs on a touch pro will run on a Fuze. Really the difference will only be something that needs the front camera to run i would think. You should feel plenty confident that you'll be able to hack your Fuze to your heart's content.

The main exception that I've found is themes. A lot of the Diamond themes won't work right on the Fuze in landscape mode (with the keyboard slid out). Some will work but it seems kind of hit-and-miss.

yeah it's the same with the polaris, nike, and kaiser. The devices that don't support landscape obviously aren't gonna work very well in landscape. But a lot of the times the issues with software is being at the right resolution. Themes...well that's definitely a different story.

Third, The messaging feature is way cooller than the proprietary WM6.1 junk but what sux is that A. id doesn't collect all the messages for you from one person... and B. when you reply it just goes back to the native WM6.1 isn't there a way someone could get this to be the actuall text program???
Forth, Where the hell is the external camera button. I will first thing change the PTT to the camera button but what the heck would you get rid of this for?
Fifth, where is the damn program that cuts songs mid stream and allows you to have them as a ring tone???

I agree with this post. Everything here should have been provided WITHOUT having to 'hack' the phone. Much of these things I was expecting as well that also convinced me to buy this phone.
Yeah, yeah...give it some time, they'll be hacks galore for the Fuze specific, since the Diamond things aren't completely 'compatable' with the Fuze.
I think ATT did much too much as far as stripping down this phone.
And they have the nerve to keep the HTC name...[HTC Fuze] Ha!
What part of HTC is still left on it??

Ok, heres my wish for my new fuze. i wat to view flash content such as mlb.tv and some radio stations such as wfan NY, but the phone doesn't do it. if someone could let me know how to do this i would love it.

Thanks this is awesome as this one place to get all of this information is so much better than searching everywhere for them. I really do appreciate it. AS well, the only thing that really still doesn't work is the PTT button remapping. Any success anywhere else on that?

Actually, there has been some development since that thread. Take a look at this one. It is possible to map the PTT button using AE Button Plus (all except for single-press, which apparently causes the Home button to do the assigned action as well as bringing up the Home page, but the other three possibilities seem for the moment to work okay).

Hi. I had been looking for almost a year now. Please help me. I have HTC P4351 (its unlocked)(but I use it on T-Mobile network) a.k.a. T-Mobile Wing. I want to get an Instant Messaging application for AIM service. T-Mobile Wing has this OZ Messaging program on it, it doesn't require any INTERNET connection. It signs on and sends/receives instant messages using your SMS connection. I want just that. For an app to actually log on to AIM server, and whenever I send/receive an IM, for it to count as 1 SMS. Can somebody develop or is there something like this ready already??

***Solution***
1 - Copy and run of your MAIN memory (do not paste this file on your storage card) Network Wizard CAB: http://thewingster.com/Documents/ArcsoftMMS-2.CAB (Install on Device Memory, run it after installing, pick your carrier, and follow instructions)
2 - Find a *.cab file of OZ Communicator on this forum and install.
This should do it. Did it for me!!

Cuz, Ivan, apparently OZ Comm doesn't work on non-Wing phones. He's on the T-Mobile network, but has a Herald. Is that true that it won't work on non-Wings?? Or should it work just fine on the Heralds?

I don't know. He has an Atlas, not a Herald, so it's basically a Wing but from HTC. Has he tried OZ Comm?

He should try flashing something based on the Wing (like JustStable (NOT SuperJustKitchen as that's based on the Herald)) and try OZ again.

I too was wondering if one of our ROM's would work. I would think it would.
Here's his thread, IM Messanger (Which is nicely mis-spelled, lol)
I just sounds like his settings might be a little off. He should install and run Network Wizard or the Tmobile MMS/GPRS settings cab.

So anything you rip off another phone is illegal, how come we do it with alot of stuff on here... then again what do i care /ripriprip
The problem with this is that it's the map data mostly. When I was on Windows Mobile, we had the same problem with Microsoft Voice Command. Even though it came with most WM phones, you weren't aloud to share the .cab (equivalent to .apk) file for it. In fact, cooking roms with it was kinda frowned upon. The problem was the licensing, because Microsoft actually charged for the app, for the few phones that came without it (the manufacturer had the option to use it, I'm guessing they decided to just pay for it to have it come loaded). Even when TomTom came out with a "trial" for one specific WM phone, the cracked program wasn't allowed on XDA, even though cracking it just made it possible to use it on other phones...... You still had to buy the maps from TomTom for the phone..... It's all just a CYOA policy, and it's what makes sure XDA won't be shut down!
So I guess the question is: if I am able to find the.apk, would it work on my inc. Has there been any success stories?
It would certainly be interesting to find out. I remember someone in the past had made a GPS Phone based off Windows Mobile. I can't remember who offhand, but I'd think it would be more profitable for them to release the software for a reasonable price than to offer it only on their phone, which who knows how much they're really making off it. I mean it comes down to profit, but I'd think that considering my DInc came with built in Nav for free, and is a much better phone, why pay a premium for a phone with GPS, when you can get a better *phone* and add GPS software for a minimal cost (or use the FREE one included!). Just my thoughts though.....
