RTS for Mobile Planet next week - - Touch Cruise General

I just received a call from USA Mobile Planet asking for confirmation on my credit card info for the Polaris order. Apparently, they ARE getting some in next Monday/Tuesday. (Dec. 24th-26th) They needed to know who still wanted theirs and they are getting on a small shipment. Checking their list and checking it twice.
I will let you know if I receive anything -

Please let us know as soon as possible. Actually, let us know if they charge your card. If I'm not mistaken, you should incur a charge only when they're ready to ship your item to you. Keep us informed.

I think we're in luck! OnTheGoSolutions is shipping the last week of the year!!! I pre-ordered from there, will also keep you posted.

Just spoke to expansys (mobileplanet) stated that HTC has shipped to them but to not expect delivery of phone next week due to the holidays and customs. He told me to expect delivery between the Dec 31st and Jan 4th. No info on quantity they will be receiving.

Got my confirmation call from OnTheGoSolutions today... My Polaris will be shipped next week Thursday (dang holidays). I was told that their shipment has already came in. I don't know how many they have but I know they have mine (or so they say). I should be getting it before next year.

Mine still shows pre order status with date as Jan 21st. When called mobile planet they said they are getting stock from HTC only after jan 16th.. Lots of confusion. I would be delighted if got mobile before 20th atleast for sure..

I just got off the phone with OnTheGoSolutions. It appears that their shipment hasn't came in yet but I was told they're expecting it today or tomorrow. I don't know what to expect! Last week, a rep told me they got them in... but this was also the same person that said she would upgrade my shipment to Fed-Ex 2 day free of charge - I was charged - Needless to say: this rep told me that the units will be shipped the day they get them in.

Just got a call from onthegosolutions and they are now saying due to custom clearance don't expect shipment before next wednesday.
They are shipping black version.

Just spoke to OnTheGoSolutions. I was told they got partial shipment in: hopefully customs will release the remaining tonight... if so, they will be shipped tomorrow. If this isn't the case, they will be shipped out next week sometime.
To those that has already received their unit, were you given a Fed-Ex tracking number? And for those that have their tracking number but no Polaris, are you able to track it?

I also got a call from On the go today and they said I would receive one of the "last" units that are not stuck in customs. Just a few minutes ago I recieved the Fed Ex tracking and it's on schedule for Friday delivery. I never thought I would be so stoked about getting a new phone... I hear these are the Black versions?? That would top it off !

I was just told they were expecting it very, very soon. In a matter of days.
I don't believe we will see it until the week of the 24th as well. No stores have gotten any preliminary info and that is a pretty telling sign right there.
I wonder if the Fuze will be a part of any black friday deals. I would doubt it if just released that week. I would like to see it more in the $250 range because I don't think it is worth $350 and waiting 10 weeks for the 50 rebate, but I will probably ending up spending it anyway and dumping the Tilt on Ebay.
well given how they are releasing phones the epix came out like two weeks or a week ago bold came out today so i give the fuze another week or two it's definately coming out in november though

I just called a local store in Indy and was told "We don't know when it'll be in. It's been delayed I think. I'm the manager and I would know!"
If he's the manager and "would know," he should be able to tell me and not just "think."
A little different answer
Not really important but... I called a major store in Denver. Lady has known of it some time as her job is dealing with new releases. She said that they were supposed to have displays up already but the materials are not in so they are behind schedule. She expects it any day. Also a sales person is getting trained on it tomorrow and hopes to know more then. Only significant thing is that they knew of it and were supposed to have displays up by now.

I still say it has to be sooner than 11/25 because that is when the ATT rebate ends. And why would they include the Fuze in it if the phone isn't even going to be released by then. So I say it can't be Black Friday (11/28).
I was told next week... though previously told today... as far as black Friday and not wanting to discount it, well... they're in control... they can release it tomorrow and that doesn't mean they have to discount it. So, I don't see any reason they'd have to wait until then.

[INFO] Vodafone UK Orders

I've just received an email to tell me the phone is out of stock and delivery will be 2-4 weeks!
I think that seems to be a stock mail that goes out after a pre-order,
i had the same, they did the same thing with the launch of the original nexus.
i called Vodafone to make sure that was the case and was assured that it was....still, you never know, the woman may have been lying to get me off the phone!
im gonna expect mine on the 19th but i wont be holding my breath just in case
I sent them an e-mail about not receiving my credit check response and they replied saying it was not in stock but the credit check was fine.
As long as i have it by Thursday i'll be happy.
I've had a reply back from VodafoneUK on Twitter..
We haven't been made aware of any stock delays. If there is any further info on this i'll be sure to let you know ^SM

Yeah when I ordered mine they told me it would basically go straight out as it arrived to them so they will be 'out of stock' for a while, or at least until preorders are filled.
Yes, I got the "2-4 weeks" e-mail too but assumed it's just a generic e-mail.
When I spoke to Vodafone yesterday before placing my order, I asked if they had sold out of all their initial pre-order allocation. They said no, and that I would definitely get my phone on the 19th May.
My desire was out of stock when I pre ordered. Had to wait 2wks. Hope u guys get yours so u can tell us what you think.

Peeps who ordered online usually get screwed when it comes to delivery time as it's like a different sales division. Typically online team have so many phones to sell, but the telephone team also get so many phones to sell and the high street shops have so many. They WON'T dip into one another stock levels.
I got stung when pre-ordering the HD2 early on, only to find, people ringing customer services on the day of release were receiving their phone the very next day. Infuriated, I cancelled my online order, as I got a sorry we are out of stock email. And re-ordered by telephone. Was a bit of a ball-ache doing this on the phone, as you had to speak to different sales teams on the phone.
My advice is to keep ringing the telephone team and when they say they have stock, get it ordered.
I'm going after work on Thursday, hopefully make it before it closes at 17:30!
I managed to pre-order mine over the phone, only had the confirmation to say that my order had been processed! Hoping to get the dispatch email tomorrow! Last exam tomorrow, so I can play with my new toy on Thursday

I thought I would have had an email by now as I thought it was going to take a day or 2 from email to me getting hold of it...and they said I would get it *by* the 19th
I think I'm going to wait until it's out in the Netherlands to see if the rumour of 16GB internal memory is correct. I'm highly sceptical but you never know.

It's a good way for ATT to receive some "positive attention". To be fair, when you purchased the phone, it even said the shipment date is may 2nd.

Its impossible for Sunday delivery. So it's Friday or Saturday!
For what its worth the premier rep that I talked to said the phone would be delivered on friday, she even gave me a cut off date in which to preorder by to have it by friday.
Well according to the email it's not so obvious that they will ship it before.
It says as early as May 6th aka not before that.

I got the same email above, and I read "as early as may 6th" meaning I won't see it before May 6th. There is a whole different context when compared to "on or before may 6th"

UK Pre-orders. Shipped? Received?

Has anyone in the UK received their pre-order today?
Waiting on mine, but I'm worried that the status on the Microsoft webstore hasn't budged and it still says "Pre-Order 02/11/2012" despite me getting an email saying that I should still receive my tablet on the 26th. I also called the number for the Microsoft store today and although they couldn't not give me a tracking number, they said I would receive it today.
I'd hate to wait in all day for something that isn't go to arrive!

I called them today in the UK and they told me after the 2nd, you won't get it today. enjoy your week end, the 2nd will arrive soon !

When did you order? Mine was ordered on the 17th with a delivery date of the 26th.
There won't be anyone at home at all on the 2nd, so I shall be peeved if the delivery date has shifted given that they emailed me to say it would be delayed until the 2nd, and then emailed again to say that the earlier email was a mistake and my original delivery date still stood.
I'm not at all hopeful it will arrive today, but the woman I spoke to this morning (after being on hold for nearly 30 minutes!) was adamant that I would. The very fact that I've not seen a single post from someone in the UK who has received their Surface makes me very sceptical though.

I have booked later than u but the email saying it will be pushback on the 2nd that was sent by mistake make me feel it wasn't a mistake.
I have a feeling the customer service has no control of when it is shipped or what is happening.
2 days ago, I was trying to cancel my surface (change of heart) I rang and they told me that it was in the warehouse in process of shipping so it couldn't get cancelled.
2 days later they told me it will be ship next week. (didn't ask for cancellation this time)
I hope it can arrive before the 2nd for you, I am ok to wait until next week.
It will also give me the time to see the nexus 10 and maybe change my mind again

If it's any consolation, things aren't better in Germany. Ordered mine on the 17th and my order sill states that it will be delivered until October 26th, but as of now, no Surface has arrived. I also have not seen any reports that anyone in Germany has received it...

It's looking increasingly like MS missed the boat on the Surface launch in Europe (at the very least).
There's still time of course, the day isn't over yet, but given how long they've had to get this right it would be a very poor showing if they fail to get it out of the door.

guys/girls uk/germany the surface will not arrive today ! like suddenly 10000 surface being delivered at 4pm lol.
we'll play with our new toy next week, less than 7 sleeps to go...
Now it gets wild (at least in Germany): The German tech site Winfuture reports that some orders have been canceled by the Microsoft store, because of technical failures... The support says that those with canceled orders should place new orders, but then they will face the current 3 week delay. There is also a report of a customer whose order has been canceled.
Either Microsoft was overwhelmed by orders or they have a serious problem with the store and/or the delivery process...

Not at all - I've no problem accepting reality, but I've also every right to be pissed off when I've arranged to be at home to receive something that was supposed to be delivered today, having also been told this morning by customer services that I should expect delivery today.
Being pissed off won't change anything of course, but given how MS first sent out an email saying orders would be delayed, and then retracted that email, it shows a deep lack of respect for their customers to delay again without sending out some sort of communication.

I'm absolutely appalled and devastated about the complete lack of support for UK surface customers.
I pre-ordered mine as soon as I possibly could, I phone up yesterday because I received an email saying that my pre-order had been cancelled. I've been basically told that it was a computer system error (this isn't encouraging) and that it has happened with a few people. I was basically given the options of re-ordering, which can now take a month for delivery, or "drop into my local Microsoft store". The customer service representative didn't even take time to consider that Microsoft is so narrow minded that they only have Microsoft stores in America, but hey, what's an 8 hour plane trip just to get my surface tablet on time?
To add insult to injury, I asked them to reorder, and no matter which card I try to use, it just throws me and the customer support team error after error, it's almost as if my account has been blocked! They only offered to email the error to their teach support team (I haven't heard anything back yet).
Finally I had a great surprise to find that, despite the fact that my order is cancelled, Microsoft haven't released their greed grasp on the money in my account, so I have £500 effectively missing from my account because of Microsofts 'computer system error'.
I've gotten round the re-ordering problem by using a different Live ID, but I almost feel cheated by Microsoft, if I hadn't been waiting so long for this I would have just gone for an iPad (which I can guarantee would have arrived on time) or one of the alternative windows 8 RT tablets.
If my money hasn't been released on Monday I think i'll have to just contact my solicitor/trading standards, as there is no reason why Microsoft should have my money since it was cancelled before it was charged.
It's times like this why I can understand why we have so many apple fanboys, yes they are over-priced, yes they are borderline evil, but they never basically say 'screw you because your not in america'.
After my laptop finally sold on eBay yesterday I went ahead and bought a Surface.
So my order date is 27/10, Had to buy the more expensive 64gb version as the store claimed there was a 3 week wait for both 32gb versions.
My status is Order in Process, there's no estimated delivery date or anything like that, I'm guessing because it was technically not a preorder.
Hoping it gets shipped out tomorrow, for Tuesday, but I'm guessing that's a bit optimistic.

Ordered on 26th as well. Wanted it soon so ordered the 64gig, if they don't ship it my tuesday .. I ll call them up and ask for a 50gbp coupon since it said expedited delivery and no wait on this version.

Hopefully we'll get E-mails tomorrow saying it's been dispatched, for delivery on Tuesday.
I've not ordered one yet but was planning to go have a look at the Experience Centre (read RoadShow) that was planned for Clapham London this coming weekend. Looking at Microsofts website this morning I see they've taken all the UK experience centres off the list so I reckon that no stock is in the country yet:
Some good news for those of us in the UK! Despite me calling this morning querying why my 'Order in Progress' had now vanished(!) from the MS Store website, and being told that it was there and will be dispatched 'soon' - my Surface arrived minutes later! It must have been dispatched on Friday. The accessories I ordered haven't come, so I guess they'll follow - I can wait though. I've only had a few hours with it, as I'm also trying to work, but it seems great. Looking forward to someone on here hacking the secure boot/digital certificate thing so we can run ARM compiled desktop apps

My order still stays in process. I called this morning and asked have any Surfaces been shipped to UK customers. He told me yes. I ordered virtually on launch day. Still no joy

Question Status for Everyone who Ordered/Received their device

I am not complaining in this post, I just wanted to see how everyone else was doing in getting their phone.
I ordered my phone on PDA Plaza.
I pre-ordered well before the Release Date (Jan 18.)
On the Product Page, it says "Ships within 10-15 business days after purchase". It has now passed 15 days.
I contacted support and waiting a response.
It has been almost a Month since i pre-ordered, and not a single email from PDA Plaza to update me on anything, even if its delayed.
I am starting to think perhaps a Refund is in order, and maybe look somewhere else.
If you've received your device, where are you Located? where did you Order from?

seems like Chinese New Year right now no one will be shipping until next week earliest vopmart says orders will be processed On the 10th I think. I'm getting tired of trying to obtain this phone thinking I might just keep my mate x2 collectors edition since gms and push notifications fully work anyway

I just want to ask how's everyone's order doing? I have placed an order on PDA plaza last January 28 and have yet to receive a tracking number for the order. I am in contact with customer service via email but they just keep promising that they expect to receive and ship the order after every week with different reasons; i.e. Chipset Shortages, Ukraine-Russian war (really?). At this point im beginning to tire in waiting and getting more anxious that i may have been scammed.
Anyone here who can share their experience with them?

So, it is now almost 28 business days and no news. PDAPlaza mentioned that they should get it by tomorrow and will ship the same day, I don't think so. Placed order cancellation request.
I ordered mine (magic vs ) from alibaba and got it in 5 days.
