Hi all I have the new HTC Kaiser on o2. I have a car stereo unit that accepts a bluetooth connection for handsfree connection.
Callers can hear me clearly, but the volume of their speech to me is very low, and tinny.
My previous phone was the o2 mini s and a a vario II, all of which come through lound and clear on my in car speakers, in stereo, bassy as well. Also my wifes n95 comes through loud and clear.
Does any one have any ideas why the volume and the incoming quality of the incoming audio would be reduce for the Kaiser?
Welcome to the club, this is a known problem, the main problem, with Kaisers noted in many threads since the phone came out. HTC has acknowledged this on some peoples calls into service but no fix as yet (should be a software fix as BT is fine with most any application except the phone).
I am waiting for a solution as well.... Only way is to turn the volumn to loudest setting.
same here.

i have a XDA2i and a jabra 250v, when i turn on the headset the XDA responds by showing the headset icon, it also shows the icon showing sound is comming from the headset, and in the headset you can her a crackley sound. This is normal to me and has done it with other jabra headsets and also on the XDA2s.
But my point is today soon after turning on the headset in my ear i heard a reminder going off, so i started media player and played 10 mins of a film i had on my SD card, then a MP3 track, all with the audio comming from the headset not the XDA.
i had never tried this befor, as i stated it oftern shows the sound comming from headset icon, and a crackle is heard in my ear and i just quickley send and end a call and this disnonects the audio, but leaves the headset connected.
as this worked for audio is there a way to make it work properley ie you have the abilaty to turn the feature on and off
Thanks
John
Is this possible with o2 mini?
Anyone with o2 mini have got this experience?

Hi there!
I got my Trinity about 2 weeks ago and got I love that thing...she is so beautiful!
Yesterday I got a good deal on a Sony Ericsson HBH-DS200 Bluetooth Audio Device.
It connects via A2DP and then you can connect any std. 3,5mm jack headphone.
After I pair the devices everything works fine, handsfree and wirless stereo!
Now I disable Bluetooth and turn off the DS200 to shut it down.
Next time I restart Bluetooth and the DS200 it switches to Bluetooth Audio and all is well. But as soon as I try to play music it "skips" in 2-3 sec. jumps. This is as you can imagine not acceptable.
If I delete the conn. and repair it...it works again..up to the point where I turn it off and then on again.
Anybody have an idea?
thx!
pls search a2dpfix to sovel this bug.
but, it will make up to 90% cpu rate.
I got the HBH-DS200 headset, for music it works all fine.
But when i use it in a call the sound are really crappy. A lot of noice and very low volume.
I have tried my headset with other phones without this issue. does anyone have a soluton to have the same clear sound in a phone call as i have when lissen to music

hi there...
does anyone know how to make voip work with the correct (internal) speaker?
I installed the voip package as described in the wiki and works except for the problem that the sound comes from the speaker on the back of the phone...
did anyone get this to work with the vox phone?
i'm wondering if it's possible. i did manage though to get the volume lowered on Custel's Voip cab to the point where it doesn't "really" produce the echo. I'm thinking that's probably as good as it gets. Flip the phone around and use the 'volume lowered' speakerphone as the earpiece.
Seems to be an hardware issue.
When I use a bluetooth headset everything works fine.
I think that it works fine, because if you have connected your headset, everything comes to that headset, sound from earpiece and from speaker too.
When I use my headphones, sound goes out from the speaker AND headphones, at the same time. Boring, but what can we do...
Hi all, I have had this bug in varying flavours with both the Wizard and now the Kaiser.
If I make a call via Bluetooth (certain devices only e.g. JVC in car stereo), after the call, all audio is lost on the device when using the speaker, e.g. no ringtones, no TomTom voice guidance.
Strangely the touchtone sounds on the phone dialler continue to work.
Making another call via Bluetooth works fine and all audio is heard, but not if calling via the earpiece of the phone.
It is like Bluetooth is 'stealing' the audio from the phone's speaker (which is should), but not giving it back at the end.
Currently am running WM6.1 Sleuth 3.0 on the TyTN II. Any advice appreciated.
I am attempting to pair an ATT Tilt with an onboard bluetooth device on a GL1800 Goldwing Motorcycle. It pairs but, I cannot hear the person on the other end. It rings in the headset, connects fine, outgoing audio reaches the other party but incomming audio never reaches my headset.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Tom
