Please Help I Cant Boot Past "smart Mobility" Screen - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

Someone please help me i cannot boot past the smart mobility screen on my att tilt!!!!! I think its bricked. All that comes up is the R G D values in red. Then it just stays there. I dont have a clue what to do!!! Someone help me please!

Tell us a bit more!
Have you tried to Hard Reset? Or did you attempt to HardSPL, or to flash another ROM? We need more info to be able to help you.

Thanks for the reply...what happened is I noticed TomTom wouldnt start up like it normally does...I think the link was broken so I decided to soft reset and I noticed it was hanging at the smart mobility screen and couldnt boot past it. So after getting really nervous for about 10 mins I luckily turned the phone off and found out how to enter the boot loader mode and refashed the HTC ship rom back on my tilt and have restored everything..I keep back ups of all my cabs on my transflash card. I dont know what caused it though. It's my first brick I guess. Hopefully my last.

Hello to all, I am a noob here and have tried to adhere to all of the demands to do research and not post ?'s, but I am at a wall.
I have a Tilt and I ran the sim unlock and I was using the Sleuth 3.0 on it. Everything was working fine. I added the Iunlock cab and it worked fine as well. I then tried to install the icontacts, but i would have to go to program files and icontacts file in order to use I contacts. Well, wanna be innovative me thinks to try and move that file so it would replace something. I copied it to the windows appbuttons folder and deleted the regular contacts and nothing happened, then I put it in the start up folder and no luck, then I simply copied it to the windows folder not at the bottom where all of the extra files are. After that I tried to reset it and now all that I get is the bootloader screen. it reads as follows:
KAIS1*0 MFG
SPL-1.0.Olipof
CPLD-8
At the bottom, it shows either USB or Serial depending on if the usb is plugges up.
I tried running the sim unlock again and the dutty rom and both load to 100% but it goes back to the same screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please help and thank you so much.

You could hard reset if you altered something in WM to cause it not to boot...hopefully
I tried the hard reset and same thing I flashes for a very split second loading and then goes back to the screen.
Hard reset is both item buttons above IE and Mail with soft reset correct?

- well you could try go into the bootloader and flash an OEM original ROM on i do not believe that doing this would brick your kaiser.

In case u dont know how to do it:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Kaiser_Resets
Or else search for MTTY. That helped a lot of ppl who got stuck in boot loader.

U need to hold the stylus in the hole longer, untl a message pops up on the page.
If it does not hardreset or help u, do what zeezee told u - flash a new rom.
OK, thank you all for you diligent assistance. I have tried the hard reset and it does the same thing...goes to black for about 2 seconds, then for a very split second goes to a grey screen and flashes loading then back to the bootloader.
I will try a search for the people stuck in bootloader and try flashing a OEM ROM, I will let you know how it goes. Thanks again.

Before you try the dangerous MTTY method, you could try refresh a oem rom w/ the SD method
ok, I am flashing an OEM rom now, but what does it mean to do it with the sd method?

From youre sd card (memorycard), look it up in wiki. Moust of us flashaholics keeps oure rom on oure memorycard and just rename the rom/bootsplash/radio or whateva and place it in root then activate bootloader -> flash. This is an alternative for not using usb cable, pc and active sync
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=KaiserSDFlash
ok thanks, but am i correct in understanding that to do that I have to use the phone to access the mem card?
My issue is that the only screen I get is bootloader, no nothing else. I can't even turn it off. I can take the battery out to get a black screen, but any action to try something will take it back to the bootloader screen. But for some reason, it still allows me to flash the ROM, I think. I flash it on my pc and then my phone goes to the grey screen where it shows the % of progress. It reaches 100% and the pc tells me to click finished and I do then it goes back to the bootloader.

yes, just use a card adapter or something to acess youre card (if you cant connect via active sync) then copy the rom over and follow the steps in wiki. Beeing stuck in the bootloader some times aint the worse place to be stuck

I don't mean to argue with you here and you are right about research threads, but honestly it's easy to get caught up in frustration with the amount of information. Some authors are good at documentation and some skip steps along the way or extra links are in the threads.
I just switched over to Gullum's Diamond Rom and was I nervous upgrading "Yes" and did I read much that I could "Yes". Were the instructions to HardSPL, Jump were a little unclear "Yes" so people asking questions are legit to a degree but we shouldn't also be eagar to pounce on...

I agree with some of your remarks. Yes myself and others have jumped down people's throats yelling, "Search." One thing you have to remember though this is a developers forum, not a novice forum to help people making there phone look "cool."
Going into flashing / upgrading / modifying, you have to have a little bit of knowledge or time using Windows Mobile / Windows in General devices and machines.
Usually reading some background information can be a world a difference before jumping into this sort of thing.
I found the problem to stuck in bootloader. Thanks to all who have posted threads.

Aboslutely man. You go take care of your family. I will pray for God to guide you all through this trying time.
On the Kaiser note, I found after further studying of some threads, a solution to my issue where I was stuck in bootloader. I think this will apply to anyone that is stuck in bootloader with the usb/serial showing at the bottom and when they try to flash a new rom is goes to 100%, but the are still stuck on the boot screen.
After reading more threads, it appeared that there was some sort of disconnect between the usb and the phone. Since my PC was stating that it was successfully completing the flash, that shows that it was not getting any type of error from the phone. After reading a thread I simply blew in my tilt usb port and used my stylus to try to straighten it out as one of your post state to ensure the usb connection is straightor it may give mtty an issue.
Once I messed with my USB port, the phone came back to life and everything was fine. Everything was rebooted and all my info was lost however. I was even able to successfully flash a new ROM.
In closing, if anyone is stuck in bootloader mode and their flash goes to 100% and doesn't fix their issue, tell them to clean and straighten their usb connection.

got problems with my Qtek S200 phone..
IPL 2.20
SPL 2.20
heres what happend:
All things were working perfectly until one day my phone went to bootloader mode with me doing nothing on it... i tried to soft reset and it went back to its normal functions. a few days passed again without me doing nothing like upgrading etc etc... < im afraid coz im a newb in this and i dont want to mess up my phone> the camera went crazy like turning on and taking random pictures etc etc and then all of a sudden back to bootloader mode < as i read on post bootloader mode are the 3 color screen in which you can only see IPL and SPL >
then i was mad and dont know what had happend to my phone, i did a hard reset this time and it went back to normal again but after a few hours it went back to boot loader mode. i turned off the phone took off the battery sim and let it rest a bit but LO and BEHOLD when i restarted the phone it seems to be stuck on boot loader mode... i talked to some forum users here on PM and i took one advice to flash it to the original shipped ROM since mine was in Spanish language.. so i did... i took the advice and flashed it in bootloader mode.. i followed the instructions carefully as i read in the forum link he gave me... but after that theres no change.. its still the same! i tried to do a hard reset again and it was a success i was able to use the phone < this time in english language> but when im on the user customization part < the part wherein the phone installs its needed programs to run perfectly> it needs to perform a reset afterwards, after resetting it went back to boot loader mode...
i really dont know what had happend to my phone.. if anyone here know whats the possible reason and know how to fix my phone i would be happy...
thanks a lot and waiting for a clear reply

Depending on what happened, it's a yes/no situation. What did you do?
Try this:
get into bootloader mode (tri-color screen): Take out the battery for one minute. Put it back in. Getting into bootloader mode is done by holding the Volume down button while you do a press/release of the Reset button. OR hold the Volume down button while you do a press/release of the Power button.
That should get you to bootloader mode. Now, plug in your USB to the PC. Flash a CDMA ROM from there by running the .exe. If you cannot do that, transfer the .nbh file (rename it to "RHODIMG.nbh" [no quotes]) and follow these instructions.
Good luck, and happy new year!
*The majority of the CDMA ROMs can be found at PPCGeeks*

Well, this forum is for CDMA TP2s, but I'll help.
So you took out the battery for at least one minute? Then you put it back in. Get into bootloader mode (T-Mobile version: phone is off, hold the Volume Down button while you press/release the Power Button. Keep holding the Volume Down button until the colorful screen shows up).
When you're in bootloader, plug in your TP2 to your PC. Now run the .exe of a GSM ROM and follow the steps, as if your phone is synced to the PC. (aka flash as you would usually do).
To flash via the Storage Card: On your PC, go to Start > My Computer > Removable Disk drive (something like that; make sure this is your phone's Storage Card). Drag the .nbh of a GSM ROM there. Rename the .nbh "RHODIMG.nbh" (no quotes). Unplug your Phone. Take out the battery again for one minute. Now, go back into bootloader (hold Volume Down button and press/release Power button [keep holding the Volume Down button]). Follow the steps to flash the phone.
Good luck.

You did exactly the reverse of what I did, and the instructions already given are how I resolved it: put it in bootloader and flash a compatible ROM. I flashed a stock ROM just to be sure, but that's probably not needed.

See if you can do a hard-reset right now. While phone is off (which it is), press and hold Talk/Send, End, and Power button at the same time. Wait for a screen to pop-up. Follow steps to hard reset. That will bring it back to factory defaults.
If it doesn't work, maybe you could post your question on PPCGeeks, where a lot of CDMA people go. They might be able to help you.
Can you Unbrick a Touch Pro 2
Hi to all,
I'm a new here and a little desperate . I flashed my rom by using a raphael update instead of Rhodium. My phone got bricked. My phone is a Sprint HTC touch pro 2.
At the moment, it will not boot, when I plug it to my computer and it was looking for qualcomm cdma MSM drivers.
I tried sof and hardware reset including the boot loader. Nothing works. I also tried using different RUUs. Nothing works. I hope somebody can help me.
Fixed the problem...bought an android...ha,ha...

Well if you can power it on, and go to bootloader, then your phone is just fine. Just flash a Rhodium ROM.
I suggest take battery out, and put it back in after few seconds, to see if it powers on. If not, leave it in the charger, and see if it powers on.
After installing the HardSPL, I decided to flash my US Cellular CDMA phone with a GSM rom and of course it bricked it. The phone would only boot to bootloader, so I was going to have it repaired for $70. But if I was willing to flash my device, then I'm sure as willing to look for a DIY solution somewhere. Goodthing I searched this forum, because the answers where right here!
Just format your microSD to FAT32, install an extracted stock ROM kit to the root of the SD insuring you rename the .nbh to RHODMIG.nbh and place the other extracted files on the SD as well. Place the microSD in your HTC Touch Pro2 and boot to bootloader. You may have to take steps to get to the bootloader, mine booted to bootloader automatically anyway at that point. Follow onscreen instructions, and your Touch will be as good as new!
thanks a million for helping me unbrick my tp2
wow man thanks a million, i followed the instru and it worked but was slow so i did task 29 and flashed the rom i wanted and it works great, i really appreciate your help on this

keeps rebooting?
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the problem I'm facing:
I have the latest Energy rom, with Android 2.3 on SD card. Android proved to be quite unstable and requires soft resets every now and then. Most of the time I would let it boot into WinMo and then run Haret again to get into Android.
Yesterday I left in running in Android all day, and in the evening I noticed the phone had died. Thinking it was just out of battery, I just plugged it in, let it charge for a few hours, then tried to boot it up. But it just kept rebooting, never getting pass the Touch Pro 2 boot screen.
Did hard resets twice, same thing. Re-flash the rom, same thing. Took out SD card, flashed again, same thing. Everything I tried, it would not get pass the initial boot screen, and just cycles the reboot again. Oh by the way, the hard resets and re-flashes are all successful with no errors.
Anyone have a solution to this? Thanks!

Huh. Thats kinda strage that it wont even boot into recovery, Becasue when i thought i bricked my droid incredible, I had to go into the recovery menu tell it to mount my phone as a disk drive, After that i had to put the OS back on my phone though a zip file,(Htc sense is my OS) And do a factory reset. So the chances of your phone being bricked are very slim its difficult to birck an android phone but i would try to find a method that will allow you to hook your phone up to your computer so then you could just find your OS as a zip and install it on your phone.
how
no way to find it computer doesnt see my phone nor will the phone do anything wont boot in recovery or download mode or boot period for that matter
It would REALLLLLLLY help if you used punctuation. Commas, periods, and capital letters really help people to read your garbled mess.

HD7 Stuck on White HTC Boot Screen

Hey Guys,
I need help,
here is my problem:
My HD7 restart it self. After enter Pin i go to Pictures Hub and it loads, loads, loads after 5 min my device does nothing so i took battery off. My Device start up and stuck on HTC White Screen.
I can go to Tri-Colored Screen, can go to Restore(Checksum)
After one Restore everything works. Now the same problem appeared again. Now i dont want to restore my device again.
Is there a way to start the device without hardrest??
Hope someone can help me.
Sorry for bad english.
Sounds like you may have bad hardware. I'm assuming you've never flashed a custom ROM or anything like that? I hate to break it to you, but your only options at this point are probably either retore again and hope for some reason it works this time, hard reset and hope the problem was in writable storage and not in ROM, flash a custom ROM 9if your bootloader is compatible) and hope that fixes it, or get a warranty replacement for a defective device.
Thanks for your help. I have tested Custom Rom's and Stock Rom's but the problem doesn't go so i have read that it can be a memory card problem. I know my device felt sometimes to the ground so i opened the phone and the memcard was not really inside the socket so i but it inside and all works fine.
