Suggestions:
I would suggest unzipping the kitchen first, which you'll have a couple files and a folder called flashing and one called tools.
In this location, add the OS folders SYS and ROM.
Also in this location, add the folder called OEM.
Known Issues:
5.2.1413:
Flash Player not working in PIE. No solution identified / not included
X-Button 1.5 causes theme / today screen issues. I don't recommend you install the X-Button 1.5 cab until a fix is found
A2DP is still a ??

In the OEM folder "Standard Reg Tweaks" are some of what he had. Here's the .rgu file from Faria's setup which has the registry settings. If you need the entire folder, you can download it from the sticky.

Easiest way is to just copy the entire folder 'x-faria settings' into your OEM folder. As long as there's no opxtions.xml file in it, it'll be included in the build.

i have it exactly like x-faria settings file (notepad can open it)
for example if i copy all the registries from mine and paste theme on the same x-faria settings file will it work??
for more clear (just example)

After I cooked and flashed a rom made with your great kitchen my phone won't boot correctly. It doesn't show me the configuration (align) screen. There's only the Taskbar and the welcomehead screen.
I had this problem everytime is used a RK.
Any suggestions?

Did You include teh FWUPDATE package?

great job - mem free specs?
does this base have the same free-mem specs as your 1.03 pandora base? might you be willing to include them on the 1st post?
also, outside of trial and error...is there an easy way to estimate how many OEM packages you can include without hitting the max rom space? it would be sweet if as one checked off the tick boxes in BuildOS that it automatically determined the amount of free rom space available...or if we knew exactly how much each OEM package used individually once installed ( not sure if it's the same number I see before the flash ).

Thanks I had already found it but thanks anyway...
My nk.nbf has gotten more than 120MB so I believe I did something what I should not have done with nb2nbf.exe.
Should I follow exactly Faria s guide ( filling out IPL Radio, Splash etc with those numbers even though the package contains no stuff like that )

Esmertec Jeodek support 3D found !

i've found an esmertec jeodek with support jsr 184 !
to install it i have to replace existing files by others
First I installed Esmertek Jbed Build ID 20070802.2.1
(really good KVM for 2D games)
and after i replace files by other and change the shorcut
(because old exe file is jbed.exe and new file is jeodek.exe)
this version is Jeodek Build ID: 20060421-95649
all games I tested are not running correctly
i will post files later...
jbenchmarHD results (with critical battery status) fight between jeodek with 3D & Jblend with 3D and the winner is jeodek :

when I 'tested with jbenchmark HD, it watch JSR-75 no and JSR-82 : no
the files i used :
Cloudyfa_EsmertecJbed.cab : good KVM only 2D games
Emsertec_3D_Java.zip : jeodek KVM with support 3D
the file in zip are jeodek.exe, mui etc... and you just have to place in the same folder than the jbed installation (in my device windows folder & appdb folder in sd card)

It seems there were / are no official upgrades ( http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...TypeId=215348&prodSeriesId=1822499&taskId=135 ). Fortunately, a friend of mine has a hw6915; I"lll take a look at its ROM version.

i hAd this blue jeodek but it was in chinesee and showed blocks and could not read the options and i tried this itz also the same it shows blockz instead of text and the * and # dont work but 3d java run so smooth and best of all they all have sound and they have no vibration and the back arrow dont work so when u enter text u cant delete it to make it work install wm6 dash jeodek and just replace the red jeodek.exe with the blue jeodek.exe the one which iz 3d it has the abbility to resize java gamez 240x3

In this respect, it isn't better in any way than any other MIDlet manager out there - see my remarks on this. It's only auto-resizable titles that are scaling-aware. If the MIDlet doesn't support scaling (the vast majority of the games are like this - see my remarks in the 3D article), then, this version will also play them at their original size.

It Does NoT ModiFY Ur Registry SettinGz So If U use a file manager to open jar or jad file it will open jblend oh FYI is U Have Jbed and jblend and every time you download a jar or jad it goez to jbed all you have to do is delete pieplugin.dll and use smartexplorer and go 2 .jar extensioN and change it to open with JBlend_VM.exe" - I<%1> Okay Me Goin To Bed Now zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

when i try to launch a 3D game(Deep from fishlabs), the midlet manager asked me if kill MIDlet , i click "No" and the it stuck in the loading progress bar
ps:the Jeodek manager cant FULLSCREEN & dont support left/right softkey click

It does support softkeys and yes, it doesn't support full screen. As has been mentioned in my above-linked review - have you read it? ;-)

Are you referring to the BT multiplayer-enabled one (3D_Juiced.jar)? Here, it cannot be installed because of the lack of BT support under Jeodek M3G.

Try the VS2008 rebuild (in the development and hacking forum) it works fine
Personally i use coreplayer though

pocketCM VGA theme
Would you have VGA theme for PocketCM contact ?

I hope I'm not ressurecting a dead thread but I was curious about some programs that let you underclock (is that the right word?) your CPU. Would be useful for battery saving in case you are not using the TP excessively.
I can see a utility for overclocking so I thought I will ask if someone has already used it and whether it can be also used for underclocking? Or perhaps some other utility?

HTC Audio cab
Can I request for this? I do not ued the TF3D hence the Audio portion is unavailable from the Program folder

Does anyone know where I can get the weather database program. I flashed my phone back to Stock Rom because of a lot of issues with keyboard and screen qwerty. I really would like to have my city show up on weather tab. Thank you.

Jblend alternatives

Hi guys, I'm looking for an alternatives for jblend...
I'm using it for launching my authenticator for WoW, but it's not confortable to open jblend and then every time tap the little name of the app....
Does someone known the name of a similar app more "thumb friendly"???
Better if support the lauch of the jar directly ( dunno why but jblend corrupt the file if i launch it directly)

[Q] cabinet (.cab) editor (extract registry keys)

I use a WIZA100.
I have to install Mi_MediaSupportv2 (midi support).CAB to be able to use mid as ringtones >.> unfortunately that cab also disables pimg.exe as a side effect. I can't preview my camera pictures and I can't add pictures to my contacts
I want to explore the registry added by that cab, but it is compressed and everything appears scrambled. It is not stored as registry entries anyways
I need a cab editor or a program which lets me extract the registry keys from that file. I know there used to be something like that during the rom kitchens era.

Solutions found
I used the excellent program
CeCabMgr_Setup.exe by OCP software. It costs $100, so I will have to stop short after the trial.
I modified the cab so It didn't affect my pimg.exe It also uses up 1mb less from what the original file uses, still enabling my PDA to use MID and MIDI files as ringtones.
I will uploaded the modified file here.
