[APPS] jBlend VM with 3D support (JSR 184)

Hi guys,
I have been playing with Samsung Blackjack (i607) and some beta WM6 ROM. I have been pleased that the jBlend VM (Java midlet manager) supports JSR 139, JSR 118, JSR 185, JSR 184, and JSR 75 (it's on the About screen).
It sounds nice and the 3D really works (at least on JBenchmark 3D). So Im looking for some way to enable this on my WM5. I have extracted all the needed files (I hope) and rewrite the registry values... But nothing worked, not on my phone, neither on Dash.
Is it because it is designed for WM6 and uses the special WM6 API? Is there a way I can find this? I will test it tommorrow on Vox, so I hope I will finally get to know...
BTW: The jBlend version is 20070413. Doesnt already someone smarter released this one?

I've tried to overwrite the original files of the slightly older, working (but non-3D-compliant) version available at http://www.winmobiletech.com/sekalaiset/JBlendFullScreen.cab with the files. No success - after this, the midlet manager refused to start.
Will try to go on with hacking.

BTW, I've uploaded TONS of 3D benchmark results to http://www.jbenchmark.com/resultsoflogin.jsp?benchmark=pro&login=Menneisyys
As can be seen, current JVM's only offer about 10% frame rate (because of the software rendering) compared to 3D-enabled devices like the Nokia N93/N95 equipped with a hardware 3D accelerator.
All in all, you won't rellly enjoy 3D games on any PPC / Smartphone.

Ok Guys!
I've ripped last exe-rom-update for Samsung i607. Make imgfs and dumped it. All files are avalible for me. I've copied Jblend and almost all dlls to SD card of my Tornado and make required registry entries. And ... it wont run. VM runs but AMS don't.
I've checked in LordPE (exe/dll viewer) what files AMS use, all have been copied into it's directory - still nothing.
I've looked depper into AMS in HEX/String mode and there is something about "Samsung Privileged Signing Certificate" there. And I think that this is what blocking AMS.
So this is my idea. Anyone know where are certificates in rom, is there a chance to rip them and install to any other machine?
I know that certificates can be added - for example RegeditSTG have one (without this cert it can't save registry changes).
Anyone knows something about certificates?

if the games you mention are 3d java games then a 3d java compatible midlet manager is required not sure if there are any though
wm dont nativly play java stuff and always depend on 3th party software for it

Of Chopper Fight, did you try the normal or the GL ES (2700G) version? Try the former. (Mini jetfight only has one version; therefore, it should run.)
Also, give a try to other games. (BTW, OmniGSoft's games aren't very good if you ask me - you may want to look at elsewhere for considerably better titles. See my related game reviews.)

TAO Intent MIDlet Manager 11.1.x and a newer version of Jblend. They, however, can't run several device-specific games.

Shadow - Jeodek 20070806.2.1 has no fullscreen & Jbed don't work fully

The Shadow comes with Jeodek 20070806.2.1 which in most respects seems to be a decent Java...except it doesn't do full fullscreen. I also tried to sub 'tckmax' for 'untrusted' in the selector.utf file and you couldn't even get to the menu to launch Opera mini, it just keeps crashing.
More bad news...I tried to install Jbed to the new Shadow and it works fine until a password is required (like the area where you enter a password to sync your Opera bookmarks). The text entry area won't take any input.
Hopefully one of you hackers can do something about this, but for now you've gotta answer those network prompts each time.

Is The t-Shadow a smartphone or ppc ? if itz a Smartphone i got something that might help if you have e-Natives smartoolkit you need , to go to opera mini and then go to the login part the active movie window where you enter the pass open it the bring the clip board part of smartoolkit where you copy n paste whilst press the key to high light the text instead enter what you want to enter in the text box when your done you press done and voila! it worked for me on jeodek and jbed because everytime i kept trying loggin in anywhere it gave me wrong pass til i tried the above method and now i can log in anywhere hope dis Works 4 u

Thanks - the Shadow is a smartphone. I really want to figure out what's wrong instead of using another utility to work around it tho.

Found the problem, corrected, and am working happily now. I had downloaded TNT's JBED and it didn't work properly. I uninstalled it and installed Cloudyfa's JBED and it worked fine on the Shadow.

Nope. To my knowledge, not any public Jbed rip supports M3G, only an older Jeodek. Read the MIDlet Bible.

here is the jbed which suports 3d
extract to the sd then rename folder to "j" note it must be small "j" not capital. Then use resco explorer to import reg file. then u can play 3d games

negative:
-transpatently area on bottom of midlet list.
-long time of generating midlet list if folders aren't used (caused by midlet icons- sometimes BIG).
(ratcher cosmetics bugs - don't affect running games)
positive:
-Keys mapped corectly
-Great performance
-Fullscreen
-Good compatibility with most midlets

Read the Bible and try the other Jbed version (that of Cloudyfa). Does it work?

ok it works!i have problem with folder names in Eten storage card "folder" is named SDMMC so I have to create folder "Storege Card" in my memory, and now works ok.
but I don't know how to change .reg file to put "j" folder in SDMMC\

I second the Question, how can I change the path of Installation? I want to replace my built-in Jbed with this one, so I want to have this inside of Windows.
I searched through hex editor and Ressource Editor and couldn't find the String.

The non vanilla ROMs already have some, most or even all os this functions.

Would you have VGA theme for PocketCM contact ?

I hope I'm not ressurecting a dead thread but I was curious about some programs that let you underclock (is that the right word?) your CPU. Would be useful for battery saving in case you are not using the TP excessively.
I can see a utility for overclocking so I thought I will ask if someone has already used it and whether it can be also used for underclocking? Or perhaps some other utility?
