ROM Tool that works with Prophet ROM

I have downloaded the smart wm6 ROM for HTC Prophet. I intend to extract files from the rom. I have used prepare_imgfs to split the rom, and this was successful. I then tried to dump the imgfs_raw_data.bin file. I received one or two errors (¨unknown header type, FS_DATA_TABLE?¨). On entering the dump directory, it contains a load of *.dsm files and one *.dll (acmdwrap.dll). I am going about this correctly? How can I dump this rom to extract more files?

have tried it, it only extracts .nbf files not .nba. It comes up with an error when I try.

Install Molski Pack v 1.1
and read its readme first.
Every thing is automated
no need to manually do
except minor editing and
addition/deletion of files/packages
if u know about them.

Seems there is no extended rom in the Kaiser...

Where's the files that the Kaiser install when there's an hard reset?

Take a look at \Windows and you find the CheckAutoRun.exe and the AutoRun.exe and, of course, the CABs files...

If you make Hard Reset, all the content you copied wiil be lost, so you need to recook a ROM to add content here.

Yes there is NO Ext_Rom in the Kaiser....

is there a config or ini file autorun reads?

you can dump roms at this point just not rebuild them so you could go look for yourself lol.. But it is 3 config files not just one in the Kaiser

My thinking was that you could modify the autorun config files to only load what you want and do a hard reset - if the files are all in the \windows directory and not in extended ROM - would it read the files from there or are they in some secret place?

Once you cook a rom, you can edit the config.txt/preconfig.txt to point to installs anywhere:
CAB:\Storage Card\install.cab
However, you must cook the ROM in order to get changes to the files to stick. If you edit it now, it won't persist after a hard reset.

Original Raphael Manila.exe (TF3D) on Fuze

Has anyone try copying the manila.exe file from the original to the Fuze?
If so, did it work?
I want to get the animated clock/theme but not ready to flash the ROM yet.

Doesn't quite work like that, the .exe is only part of the manila, there are about 1200 more file's you need, look a my signature, there you can also find a cab to install the HTC manila, cheers 12

Can someone upload Treo750_2_23_ROW_EN_DesktopUpdater.zip on rapidshare/mediafire?

Hi there,
I looked over to the "sticky" thread but apprently the links won't work anymore, thanks to all so helpfull palm support (from November 1st).
Could anyone share a generic wm6 rom on rapidshare or mediafire, or link me to a download page if I have overlooked something.

I got my treo 750v one week ago from Palm after several monhs in their reparation center and it come back wih WM5 and now WM6 is not available in any official site.

the updater.exe file is dated 16/10/07 is this recent enough to be WM6.1?

I found this on a page in some Asian Language, but I downloaded it, unpacked it, and used an SD card to install it and it works great! It is a very slow download however!

There has never been an official WM6.1 update for the Treo 750, so the short answer is no. That file will get you WM6.0.

How does it not install for you??? Did you try the SDversion instead of the Desktop version?

Any updates on this file? Can't seem to find it anywhere is Palm actively eliminating this from the internet?

You're actually wrong. That's a common misunderstanding. You can flash an update with lower spl, but not with lower mainver, as here.

Try to log in via ftp://ftp.3gin.net and then move to the directory. Worked for me but dl speed is quite slow (12 kb)...

I also downloaded, extract the .exe without error. However the .exe inside was corrupted!
So how about your .exe? Normal and can be extracted to boot.img?

I already tried to flash the boot.img using fastboot USB and fastboot via SDCard. Fastboot USB said the signature check failed. SDCard method (after renaming it to whatever name it looks for) also failed
Happy to try something else if anyone has any suggestions.
Also - the Android Kitchen tools said that the rom was rooted. Anyone know how reliable that info is?
