I haven't tried on my 710 as it is unbranded, but years ago on my old spv from orange it was possible to remove the logo with a sugar cube. I don't know if it is still possible, but just wanted to give share my experience.
ahh
ahh the old sugar cube trick.. kinda feel like trying that since that the orange logo lies on top of the chiny chrome layer..
hmm tempting haha
ehh
ok dont use the sugarcube haha
it will remove the chrome color on the plastic front if pressed to hard.. i got 2 black scratches and a square blurry bit instead of the orange logo (still better than that orange square i think haha)
but for the masses i think it better be left alone..

First off I did do a quick search and didn't find anything over here on xda about this topic. If its here, my apoligies for a redundant post.
Second off I take 0 credit for this b/c it was alredy posted over a ppcgeeks.
RIT dye will allow you to get your back cover black or whatever color you want. It works amazingly well, no rub off. Looks like a factory job.
Pic posted with my new black back cover sitting next to an original.
Sweet deal. If you do use this be sure to thank xweaponx over at ppcgeeks, not me.

I have to tell you, I was nervous about dropping my nice back cover in a pot of nearly boiling water and adding dye....but you really can't tell its moded at all. Unless someone told you, I don't think anyone could notice.
Best $1.60 I have spent in a long time.
nice i had a friend that was askin me about if the fuze back cover would work on sprint which it wouldn't but this is a good way to get a nice lookin back cover
I wonder if I can do this with a fuze back cover @[email protected]

I can't confirm this, as I have Sprint version. In fact I have never even held a fuze. Does the back cover have some texture to it? The dye seems to only attract to certain textured surfaces. The dye didn't stick to the inside of my cover, or the plastic camera lens cover.
I use RIT dye to dye lacrosse heads, and works real nice. Just be aware that it may fade a little.
And if you hit your phone against something (why I'm not sure), the dye will come off a little.
Color
Okay, went for grey charcoal by mixing blue & black as stated on the Rit dye site. Well, it came out flat black. Looks like a xbox 360 elite (flat black w/silver).
Personally, I think it is kinda ugly, however, better than the original silver.
Anyhow, another confirmation that the process works. I have the Sprint version & everything is the same cept the color.
Gonna try to dye it back a bit lighter & will post results.
--Update--
Ok, so, the cover started to turn a reddish purple (probably due to the blue), anyways, I tried to dye it just black and it eventually started to turn purple. Never did get a dye remover or try to dye it lighter.
Soo, for me the black sucks because it is a fingerprint magnet, and in my case it turned purple / red (again, probably due to the blue).
In the end I got lucky & acquired a new silver cover -not gonna dye this one.
Might be a totally stupid question......but has anyone figured out how to remove the horrid branding from ATT in the top right corner. I'm not even with ATT I just unlocked it for TMobile.
It would be so nice if one of the genius' here could help with this small problem.
I don't think it's going to happen cleanly as it looks like the logo is underneath the touchscreen's plastic facing.
EDIT
Nm, I'm retarded.

Actually I think he is not speaking about the logo on TouchFlo3D but rather on the casing. It's just riht of the earspeaker. Sadly it doesn't look to be silk-screened on like with past phones.
OOPS should have read a little closer, the branding on the case is as permanent as it gets, I don't see any way of removing it without totally messing up the device.
Do what I did... get a case that covers up the logo
go take a photo sticker and stick on it
If not, use a sand paper... I was considering paint over it... but then I've already put the film on it
Yeah its weird that this is so locked down I used to have a Dell Axim and I could really play with it and make themes and all kinds of stuff, I think the app I used was called Pocket Facelift, but these new style sof phones seem stubborn and not user friendly at all.
Ok so corner of my bottom cap started to peel of.. its small thing but ti makes me mad so Ive ordered navi cap from internet.. disambled diamond and removed complete bottom keypad but I cant figure out how to replace cap. I found HTC Touch Pro manual where they say something about putting it to oven for 5min.. Guess its glued but my question is how I could put it back ? Glue I guess but how exactly anyone done that ?

If you look at the keypad it has a sticky surfaced that it's glued to the "circuit". The new keypad that you have it's covered in the back with a "3M" sticker too. You just have to remove the old and stick the new. (Very easy if you already are at that point).
Best regards
I just replaced the navi cap.
I used a thin stanley knife to take of the old, it is attached with tape.
i did not disassamble the phone.
The navicap i ordered did not come with a new tape so i used the old one,.. for as long as it holds..
I'm gonna have to find some new tape but i dont think its gonna be easy finding the same.
I'm pretty happy now as i have a good as new diamond for only 150 euros after replacing the battery cover and navicap
i think dats quite expensvie..150 euros just for battery cover and navicap..actly m having the same problem..can u temme the cost of navicap only??

I'd keep the color as it is, personally. You never know how it's going to turn out once you start modding.
But if you're set on painting it, I'd guess taking a light sandpaper (something like 150 grit) to knock off whatever protective finish is on the cover to begin with. You're not trying to sand the color away - just knock off any protective coat so new paint will stick. Then just use spray paint to color it however you want.
Good luck.
(By the way, your English is fine)
Actually, the finish of the blue part of the case is rubberized so i thing it will stick very well, but i don't know what tipe of paint to use...
I've seen some rubbersihed paint on gray and black but i don't know if it will work, or using krylon... y have 2 Airsoft M4 painted with krylon in black and TAN and the painting is awsome but its comparing a full metal body to a plastic case...
I would give Plasti Dip a try... you can even peel it off if you don't like it.
PlastiDip? hmmm i will search for it in the hardware store near my house, and the freemarket (Mercadolibre.com) to see if i find that paint...
vinyl dye works wonders on plastics and rubbers!

i like gold
Another Sapphire Black user here. Although I covered my front screen with a Nillkin CP+ Screen protector so my front just looks black. I thought the sapphire black looked really classy with the metallic coloured edge of the phone.
Black Sapphire here too. It's a nice colour, going from black to quite a light blue in certain light. As for a fingerprint magnet, I wouldn't know. I have the official hard case in use with a basic SP and I'm happy
Wait for new Nexus or something else with a larger battery.
People won't recognize that it's an S6 if you choose black or white as the front looks like previous galaxies! I chose gold! But black is as sexy though!
Remember to put a case and screen protector as I've already cracked my screen from 1 fall on the road (at pocket level) and got scratches from daily usage(only 1 week old!!) as I've wanted to use it as is, but damn I was wrong!
Curse on Corning Gorilla Glass 4! They are $uckers and rippers and I won't pay to repair my cracked screen!
