ok im using the CORE rom...
and everytime my phone goes to sleep, and i re light up the screen i get this message:
"CANNOT EXECUTE" \Windows\TimeWizard.exe
hmmm? anyone know how i can get rid of this.. or prehaps a link to the file lol
turning into rather anoying habbit on my phone now.

*** i got my phone up and running. i am using a very old firmware from at and t from 12/07. however, fromt this point on, any other rom that i try to use is giving me a 302 error, both official and cooked roms except for the old one. can anyone shine some insight on this? thanks.
UPDATE on current problem:
1) i tried to update to a custom rom for the first time. it had worked. i used hard spl 3.29, then installed the natf v4 rom. the rom worked fine and everything. however, it was not to my liking.
2) maybe this was my stupidest mistake because i am a newbie. i tried to install an official rom right after. when i did this, the phone was stuck on 89%, and just freezes. and now i am stuck at the tri color screen (boot screen).
3) nothing i load is working. can someone please point me in the right direction in what im suppoose to do from here. i tried the sticky thread, but i am not having any luck. i need this to work asap. please help. thanks all is aprpeciated.
when i try to install the same natf rom, i get the error 262. it doesnt even go past 0%.
when i try to install the original oem rom, it goes to 89%, and stops and gives me a 309 error.
there's plenty of stickies and other topics around that have potential solutions, try those first, post back if nothing's working.

yes ih ave tried. the phone is not workign whatsoever. it wont pass the at and t screen that show the R, G, and D numbers. i can do hard reset, that doesnt work. it just stops. im still searching all over the forum right now. but i need the right solution because i need to get this phone to work ughh im sorry if i seem like im asking to much. please any help is appreciated thanks.
i also cant plug it in through usb. after it freezes that stops too so i cant load anything to update the phone.
What version of hardspl are you flashing? Maybe your rom do not support that. try to manually go to tri color screen and see if it connect to USB or not.

i beleive it was 3.29. how do i manually go into tri color screen? note i cant go pass the first screen

thanks. i jsut tried that. it booted up and isntalled update. it went to the tri color screen, then to the white loading screen, and now im stuck again...
ok it got pass the white loading screen. now im stuck at the good ol tri color screen. anything i was trying to load fromthis point foward is not working. evrtygyhing either is stuck on 0% or it jsut gives me an error to go to recovery mode. please help. i jsut want to revert bck to the oem rom if possible. i just need my phone up and running.

Have you tried booting into recovery mode and flashing the RC29 NBH? How did you manage to get it to this state?

Follow the instructions for downgrading from RC30/RC8 or higher. After your phone is reset, it will be on RC29 (or RC7 if you have UK phone) with all previous data wiped.
But i don't know latest RC in my G1.....

It doesn't matter what the latest RC in your phone is. Just follow the instructions for downgrading from RC30/RC7 and your phone will be RC29 (they will actually work for any RC) and hopefully recovered.

It could be a hardware failure if you didn't make any software changes and the device died.
I actually had the same issue with my first G1, went to bed and everything was fine, when i woke up the phone was dead, would not turn on, only blue blinking led on top, tried another battery and nothing. wasn't even rooted. I ended up sending it back to tmo for a new one.
Yeah, if you're getting no response from anything it sounds like a hardware issue. Send it in for a replacement.

i have a htc touch very good phone i tried to update it when i did the program on the pc shut down because off a error. i tried doing the program again it didnt work (the same problem). so i unpluged it.
A red green and blue sceen came up. now when ever you turn it on it comes up with that screen. i tried taking out the battery, master reset ect. i am not sure how to reload windows if that is missing or if i need to reflash it or anything ele. I really need your help please!!!

Were you trying to use an official upgrade or a custom rom? If it was an official upgrade, then you can just reflash the original rom.
If you were trying to flash a cooked rom, I hope you upgraded your Spl or you could be screwed.
OK here goes.....
Turned my phone on and got "Process com.android.phone stopped unexpectedly. Try again." Clicked Force Stop as I couldn't get past it otherwise. Then got to the "Touch the android to begin". So touched the android and ...... nothing!! It just stayed on that screen. I can't get to any apps or settings and can only use the keypad to dial emergency numbers.
I searched the internet, as one does these days, and tried the touching all 4 corners of the screen to get around the android, and still nothing.
I've tried doing the reset and hard factory reset, taking the battery out and waiting, then putting it back and trying the reset again, but each time the phone reboots I get the "Process com ......" or "Touch the android...."
I'm not that au fait with Android and am finding it hard to understand much of what's being said on these forums (so much jargon and so many acronyms, it seems like you all were born knowing this stuff!!! ) that I'm sure the more things I'm trying the worse I'm making it!!
I can still get into Recovery and Download so I don't think I've messed up completely, but I'm so p!$$ed off with it now I just want to throw the phone down the toilet!!! So, pleeeeeze somebody, can you explain in absolute idiots language what I should do.
The phone is:
Samsung Galaxy Y Duos GT S6102 and it is rooted.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not trying to flash any ROM. I just want to use my phone.
It was Gingerbread but I don't know which version or which version of Android.
As I said above, I just turned it on yesterday morning and I got the message about Process blah blah......! I wasn't trying to do anything else except turn it on as usual.

You can ask here if you dont understand something. I believe that your firmware in your phone got corrupted or the internal SD is bad/corrupted.
If its the former, good you can fix that with the above link. If not, then your phone is bust. Its not going to get fixed.
Lower end smatphones do have these types of issues, so if you do change your phone to something else, just visit alot of forums and make up your mind, at least you wont get suprised when you see others report problems. I hope that this could help.

I turn on the phone and the Samsung icon comes up with the jingle. After the vibrate, it goes to the black screen with the android with a message saying "Touch the android to begin". Below that are 2 options - Emergency call and change language.
After a few seconds a window comes saying "Process com.android.phone stopped unexpectedly. Try again". And below that is a button "Force Stop". If I press Force Stop, I get back to the first screen with the android and the message "Touch the android ..........". If I leave it at "Process com..............................." that's how it stays.
So to clarify - the only screen I get is the "Touch the android to begin". I cannot get any further.
I have tried the touching the 4 corners of the screen to bypass the android but nothing happens.
Alright ...guess the best bet for you is to reflash your stock rom (the software thats currently in your phone). You could check out the link that shadowcore posted above.

OK, so couldn't understand how to flash the rom suggested by shadowcore! Told you I needed an idiots guide!!!!
Anyway I downloaded stock firmware XXMA3 from samMobile. Opened it up in Odin 3, let it do its thing until Odin said PASS. But phone looped at reboot so I had to wipe data in Recovery thinking I would have to start all over again but.....voila!!!!
All sorted!!!!!

ok im trying to get my daughter phone to work . i guess att says its out of warrenty so they will not help me.
so as of now i have put a custom recovery from odin . ive tried to flash the stock firmware it will boot just past the splash screen thviongen restart.
ive read that power buttoms stick , in this case i dont think its the problem . when in dl mode or recovery power button works flawless.\
after having tried the stock route with no luck i flashed liquid rom and it will go just past splash and then restart. im pulling my hair out posting everywhere trying to get some help with this ...
if i can get someone to give me a few thing to try before i toss it out and move on .. i really cant afford a new phone now so ill give anything a try..
