using NR deluxe I have an issue involving multiple presses on the same key or up and right or down and left in menus and ffw-ing
when in a menu I can go down 1 or across 1 only until I press the oposite eg right instead of left, up instead of down so im only able to go across in any direction by one step. I can also only ffw rw by the first speed only. what is the cause of this? is it a problem with my hermes100 running wm6 or something else. over to you guys

I've been pretty happy with this phone, especially since I got WM6 on it but I'd like to be able to use Morphgear as an emulator. When I do, I like to use it in "west" orientation with my left thumb on the control pad and my two main buttons as Button 1 (the "mail" button) and Button 5 (the "comm manager" button) so I can press them at the same time with my thumb on 1 and my index finger on 5. When I try to map the buttons that way in Morphgear, it calls Button 5 Button 6 instead and it doesn't work in game. I thought it might be a Morphgear issue but I've tried it with other emulators and it doesn't work in them either. Why is that? Is there any way to correct it? Another annoying issue is that whenever I accidentally press the center of the control pad and Button 1 at the same time it wants to align the screen.
Any help?

that combination is probably a built in feature to pull up the align screen program for your device, and i am pretty sure can be removed by tweaking the reg. settings that correspond to the short cut.
You should post your issue under the tnt rom thread to avoid creating redundant threads.
cheers
try vjcalibrula .
it may turn calibration combo off... it works on wizard, at last..
I was messing around with some suggestions that they list under the "Tweaks" section. I am not sure which one caused the problem, but for some reason I have text running off the right hand side of the screen that can't be read. How do I get back to the Treo 750 defaults in this area without doing a hard reset. As an example: in the "settings" under "system" if you open "clock&alarms" you will loose the minutes of the time settings. 5: is all you can see. I am sure that it is an easy change, however, I have not been able to find it. Thanks.
Does anyone else have locations on the programs tab that have the plus sign in the middle so that you can select a shortcut to go there, but won't actually 'stick' there?
Each time I try to use one to create a short cut, I get another 'spare' one appear so that instead of 18 locations (3 accross x 6 down), I now have 22, the last four being unusable (3 in a row and 1 on the next row).
It's annoying, but has no other impact.
Any ideas?
I keep running into a problem with my start menu not wanting to expand to 5 icons across in landscape, instead it only show 3 very small icons across.
Is there a way to fix this problem?
Started having this issue again, so I started looking into the hundreds of threads on start menu customizing over the years. It appears that HTC added the 5 column landscape start menu as
StartMenuCust_800x480.cpr
What was happening was following registry entry is being deleted by some program on my phone at random.
To Fix Just add:
HKLM\Security\Shell\StartMenu\CustomGridForm = "StartMenuCust"
I just upgraded from a Samsung i760 to a HTC Touch Pro2 (T7380) Sprint and I was wondering if there was a way to do this?
I know with my Samsung I could just do this:
**772
six zeros for the code (000000)
Scroll down with the d-pad till you see end of basic nam
hit right d-pad to change "exit" to "more"
hit middle d-pad to select
hit the down d-pad 76 times till it says slot cycle index
Change this to 1 or lower EDIT: By entering the value with the number pad and then you hit the middle d-pad to exit.
This changes the frequency at which the phone talks to the tower and will
start the unit ringing MUCH faster. the lower you go the faster but the more battery it uses. I find 1 gets the phone ringing within 3 seconds but doesn't hinder battery life.
