Most powerful htc device - General Topics

I could probably figure this out by going through the wiki for awhile but I was just wondering if anyone knew off hand which htc device has the best processor and other things combo.

HTC Advantage (614mhz) and HTC P3600i (500mhz) are the fastest I found from HTC
Bookmark this site, they have all the info on WM devices you need.

WM6.5 can be ported to any HTC device by the chefs on here
I havn't seen enough info about WM7. MS might be enforcing HW requirements, we'll have to see what they do in the fullness of time...
Dave

He has not mentioned "Touch Pro 2". Tattoo and Touch2 are identical except the Tattoo is an android device while Touch2 is a win-mo. Diamond is now old phone where as the rest three are newer devices. If you want win-mo then either Touch2 or Diamond2 will be your choices. Touch2 must be cheaper than Diamond2. The advantage of Diamond2 over Touch2 is the former one has higher resolution.

So: The Touch Pro 2 is the best at the moment!
And if you wait some more time... HTC Leo

He wanted to know which is the best
So, for me TP2 is the best, even if it´s not included on it

Wait and get the Leo when it comes out next month.
Touch Pro 2 is definitely best w/ WM & keyboard...check out the Rhodium section for the scoop.
If no keyboard, then wait for the Leo

did i miss something? The Tattoo and Touch2 look diffrent to me. They may have identical hardware specs, but that doesnt make them identical (apart from the os). They have diffrent dimensions and a diffrent key layout and you can change the case of the Tattoo for an individual look.
And the "except" you mentioned is probably the biggest thing. I switched to an android phone and will never switch back (have no faith in winmo7).

So, if you only consider the phones you mentioned, i would go for the tattoo... (or any other android phone)
Diamond 2 of those 4 you listed for sure.

Ok, I did not check the CPU, but if money is no object, go to HTCs website and look at the details for these:
1) HTC Shift
2) HTC HD2
3) HTC Hero
4) HTC Touch Pro/2
5) HTC Touch Diamond 2

HTC Shift - too big..
HTC HD2 - it looks great, the size the shape and even the CPU
HTC Hero - don't like the design
HTC Touch Pro 2 -too slow
HTC Touch Diamond 2 - too slow and don't like the design..
What about Nexus one?
You can always use pdadb.net for help on choosing a device
http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdachooser
Hardware keyboard needed?...
WM or Android?...
Size screen?...
For WM get the HD2!
I can vouch for the Nexus One. Google-supported, meaning lots of rom updates (hopefully), lots of great features out of the box, intuitive UI, speedy phone with the Snapdragon processor.
If you get one, try and protect the screen. It seems that the screen can get hairline scratches easily. Treat it like your child

You mean HD2?

[Q] Hard choice... Please write your opinion.

I think it is time to get new PDA!
I have think about HTC HD2 and HTC Desire. Question for thous who have used HD2, Desire or other similar mobile devices.
Of course Desire use Android OS 2.1 but HD2 use Windows Mobile 6.5. I have expirience only on WM because now I have HTC TyTn.
I want now which is moust customizable, which one have the best soft etc..?
I also now what now on HD2 you can do dual boot with WM and Andorid OS. So maybe it is worth to buy HD2. Also if you sugest me to buy other PDA please levae a comment with reason why..

[Q] Opensource HTC FieldTest app. I need your support

Hello
At the moment I am developing a open source FiedlTest app for the HTC cellphones with a Qualcomm processor.
For comparing the values, I use a old HTC Magic. But the responses on my HTC One or HTC One S are a little bit different to the HTC Magic. Can sombody tell me, what are the Listview entries of his FieldTest app on the Rogers HTC One X? I would be interested in all pages. A screenshot is attached.
Thank you in advance.
Felix
Interesting app, did you solve the issue you were having?
is this app still in development? I could really use this for T-Mobile LTE field tests im doing.
