hi everyone,
please help me out, i only got the phone today...i've been trying to flash to wm6, i've done all the teraterm stuff and i've flashed the wm6gsmupdate but now i'm trying to flash the actual rom (Phil's Tornado WM6) and when i run the update utility, it keeps telling me there's no phone connected, check the connections etc.
i am using active sync 4.5, i think i've tried everything...well obviously not, please help

I installed Blackberry Connect on my Cingular 8125 and cannot get it past the point of the "Radio In Use" message. I'm currently using Molski's latest ROM but the problem has occurred on all the ROM's I've tried including the default Cingular ROM. I installed Radio ROM 2.47.11 this morning and the problem remains. Does anybody have any clue as to why this happens? I have never been able to get it to connect because of this issue.

Please help me out here... Got my new G4 Prophet screwed during upgrading... Now it can't boot up at all.. Bootloader is working tho, could somebody send me a SD dump image for G4 Prophet? Thanks a lot!!!

why do you need an SD image, you can use a ROM updater to fix 95% of the problems
Thanks, Jesterz. You are right, I got it fixed an hour ago... here is the story, just in case it may help other people later.
Got my XDA Neo and it was in Chinese rom, which has Wi-fi disabled. So I tried to upgrade to AKU3.2. but there was an error, something like "Can't write" or similiar. Then cellphone just stop responsing. Tried soft-reset and hard-reset, both stopped at splash screen (where shows the version of IPL/SPL). Bootloader still working tho.
Then try to download some rom from xda-developers, especially that stopatbootloaderfix, but the updateutil just can't update it, report different types of error code. Others just complain no connection through activesync has been established. After trying for over 5 hours and got desperate, that was the moment I login here and ask for help.
Today I tried the stopatbootloaderfix again but this time with "Allow USB connection" disabled in ActiveSync... and it works! It successfully flashed the ROM and now I am running the new AKU2.3.1 rom!

Looks i have the same problem. my Prophet stays at the Splashscreen with IPL, SPL, GSM, OS :-(
OK, worked it out by pressing and holding the powerbutton while performing a softreset

ok i have a major problem i was updating the radio and it stalled on 95%. SO i restarted it at the bottom with the soft reset and now my phone wont get off the three colour BL screen. i need help bad please help. I am currently using a HTC TYTN II. if anyone has any help at all i have nearly given up I have no idea what to do when i try to reflash it it wont go past 0% on the installation!

i met same problem before try fash e any original rom (WWE) you have

the radio ur trying to flash is probbly not compatible with ur device i think. try searching to radio in the upgrading section and find out which radio would work with ur device. and by the way what make is ur phone and wat carrier. as Redfilm said try using the original WWE rom, it should fix the prob.
Was installing duttys rom when my anti-virus program started. Update failed and since then all I see is the tri-colour screen. Sometimes I can get the rom updater to recognise my TyTNII but it will not continue to upgrade. Any suggestions. Have tried mtty1.42 but it doesn't seem to have a usb port option, have tried hard reset etc with no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
An update, I have tried several rom updates since, most get to the stage where the progress bar is shown and the stop. The HTC update to revert to shipped rom gets to 1% and then tells me that this rom is not suitable for my pda!
How about some more information...
What is your Tytn II - Tilt or HTC?
What Rom was on it before you tried upgrading?
What Radio was on it before you tried upgrading?
What version of Duttys did you try to flash?
Did you upgrade to HardSPL before you tried flashing?
This should enable someone to begin trying to unbrick your phone.
Also DO NOT USE MTTY unless you know what you are doing - it can seriously kill your Tytn if used incorrectly. Wait for GSLEON3 to swing by before trying this - but he's very busy at the moment helping others unbrick their toys so you may have to wait for a while.
If you had an original rom/radio from AT&T or HTC it shouldn't hurt trying to download an original rom and try to flash - preferably using your SD card.
Also, while you're waiting for someone to help, have a good read through the Kaiser Wiki (in my signature) before trying anything else.

HTC TyTN 11, Was using Q-mobile 1.2 but couldn't install tom tom navigator 6, don't know what radio it was using because i hadn't got that far. Was trying to flash Dutty's 6.1 and I had run jumpspl from device because I got the white screen when I treid to run 1.93 so installed 1.56 to pda and ran it. this worked to insatll Q-mobile this morning.

Try to reset pda keep getting tri-colour, attach usb and usb shows at base of screen. When i try to install rom The problem in my second post occurs. I cannot hard reset device to anything other than the tri-colour
Thanks for your help, I tried one of the roms indicated and it worked! I have spent so much time reading various wikis and downloading files. I'm not entirely sure why it worked this time but I'm not about to ask questions! Thanks again!
OK, now you've got your phone working again, make sure that you get HardSPL installed before you try anymore flashing.
ok i was installing KAIS_Radinly_0.26.07.06_CustomRUU and it froze at 96% and now my phone is bricked!! every time i restart the phone its stuck at the RED GREEN BLUE and WHITE screen.. i tried using mtty but then im not trying to mess my phone up any more. i dont understand how to fix it.. if i download a new ROM and put it on my SD card then how do i read it with my phone? sorry guys, im a noob at this as you can tell..

okay i have one problem after fixing it. i downloaded the TEST rom for the ATT tilt and now every time i reboot my phone it says 'TEST ONLY. NOT FOR SALE.' how do i get rid of this? when i installed a new rom it still says this and i even tried hard resetting my phone but it did not reset anything to factory settings. it just reloaded the rom that i last had!

hey i own a jasjam and i recently installed a wm6.1 rom...the rom is ok except it often crashes. now i want to change the rom but activesync cant find my device. when i first installed the new rom everything was ok and activesync worked fine.
now the phone keeps crashing and activesync never finds my device...anyone know how i can fix my activesync problem?
any help this is really bugging me
I have a similar problem, too. My rom works fine but activesync can't find my device. So, I cannot install anything and can't make file transfers...
