Universal Windows 6 (Fisrt)

Hi everybody
please test WM6 the fisrt for Universal. I tested but can't fix SMS Vibrate when we have a new message. Please fix to help me. Thanks.

Guys, the contents does appear to be Crossbow. I haven't flashed, just decompiled. However, it appears to be a custom rom, ie contains custom 3rd party apps like WM5NewMenu, so this isn't stock AFAIK.
It is a HTC branded rom.

just saw it by accident on ftp, and flashed my Qtek9000 with it. I didn't even now it was that for sure and took the plounge. LOL

by the built this is a RTM version, so it should safe...but maybe this release is a earlier built... it wont do UMTS/3G, and a lot of registry missing, and a lot of bug....

Got 3G icon and its connecting (I'm on Tmobile NL).
I'm on the net now and it seems to work (FYI) (testing at home.versatel.nl/c.pootjes05/tvs.htm) watching de goudenkooi stream right now

A wizard version of WM6 is said to be unable to be reflashed to old versions(WM5), how about this one?

Its safe..

Reflashing to an older ROM (Helmi for exemple) is indeed possible, and it does appear to be a self made ROM indeed (lots of apps)

Activesync 4.5 is needed to sync

i have a HTC8125 and i want Wm6 on it i was wondering if some can guide me in the direction of getting it......

and then read about each different ROM and Kitchen, and before you even think about flashing read, read, read, and then read some more. Or you can just pick a rom, and turn that beautiful new phone into a shiny little brick that you can use to stop your bedroom door from closing....

There will not be an official rom from any providers for the Wizard device.
If you take the time to read the sticky that badbert pointed you to, it has all the steps on how to do this. Its not rocket science, and as long as you follow all the directions you will be on your way to upgrading to WM6. But the point that was being made is, you need to read and understand what you are doing, or you have the potential to brick your phone.

Look, you need to read the entire how to flash sticky, then spend a few days reading the posts on this board. We're not going to tell you "Hey, use this one!"

its says i have a choice of AKU2, AKU3 and WM6 whats that mean that after i flash i will have WM6

u have to flash a rom that is WM6 to have WM6

AKU's are like Service Packs for Windows XP. If you want WM6, then you will flash one of the many WM6 roms. Just read the first post of each rom thread to see what the roms have in them to try to decide what you think will be what works for you. Then when you choose one, start reading the rest of the thread to see what issues / problems that rom might have. Some rom cooks may even try to update the first few posts with fixes / patches / cabs for you to use to fix the rom (or make the rom work better).
But take your time. There is no rush on upgrading. Don't ruin your new phone...

so as you flash you putting Wm6 on your phone? sorry im really consufed
or how do you know if its a Wm6 Rom?

because i dont think anyone here is cooking windows mobile 5 roms for a Wizard... flash a term used when you are installing a ROM image to your phone. trust me, if you read enough you will know which roms are WM6... if you dont know then chances are you didnt read enough. i swear we have answered this question for you already

there are a lot of roms indeed , but it depends on wht you want as extras, between the roms there is such a little difference in speed.
but personal i prefer the TNT or the black diamond roms , and also the nbd roms are very good
if you know what you are doing flashing one of these should be easy, but i suggest that at first you read the wiki of the wizard , there you find everything you need to know.
But before flashing detect which model you have : a G4 or G3
i am an experienced flasher but even i got confused when i bought a new wizard so read a lot of postings on the forum
and at last , if you have second thoughts try a seach on the forum , we have a magical search button, if you still dont know ask , there are a bunch op people who know a lot about these things

This is by far the best rom I have ever used. It is super fast and stable. I HAVE TRIED ALOT OF ROMS!!! The only thing is this does not have the cube but I dont use it anyway.

T-mobile does not have official WM6 rom, many WM6 roms hare all are ported from other devices!
it is fun! if you like it, do it, otherwise, keep your old one ..

Good luck dude, check my ROM on the Signature (TOUCH NO EVIL)

Can't update Rom to 6.1 in Tilt

I can't update the Rom of my Htc Tilt to wm 6.1 (Duttys Non cube 1.65.14 and Hybrid 1.64.08-tried both). The update process is starting and stays at 0% for 2-3 mins , then showing an error message-"ERROR 262 UPDATE ERROR:..........
I attached a pic of the error message.
Now what shld i do? PLS PLS HELP and REP ASAP.

Did you follow all directions, including Hard SPL first?

Check the Wiki for answers to this error. And use Firefox to post so it will correct all your punctuation and grammatical errors.

for your sake i sure hope you flashed hardspl onto your tilt before deciding to flash a rom .. If you did make sure you read the information relevant to your phone and the procedure you were atempting than you are not in too much trouble. All you probably need to do is make sure your phone is synced to the pc and give the flash another shot.
If however you were feeling lazy and didn't bother reading any of the instructions and just flashed the rom after downloading it off of the thread than my friend you are royally screwed. I don't know what to tell you to do next if you didn't flash hardspl first as i don't know (nor hope to) the consequences for not doing that. You need to get in touch with the senior members (be nice in your request) like gsleon3 and see if they can help you solve your issue.

I think you may want to read the wiki's and do the HardSPL, it may save you from paying money for a new device. IMO

best rom is a matter of opinion, try a few see what you like, personally i don't like dutty's roms, i prefer a fully loaded multimedia gaming rom like movile vista 1.3, and as far as your CUBE question search

I highly recommend that you do both the HardSPL and the security unlocker.
copy this file do you device.

then run the .exe from your phone. Unplug your USB, then reconnect it.
Then disable USB connections in ActiveSync.
Run the HardSPL w/ AT.

Please, oh please....don't do another thing to that phone until you have read GWENI. People here have broken a lot of devices and compiled an unbelievable amount of information so that newcomers won't have to make the same destructive mistakes or ask the same old tired questions. It is oh so very frustrating to contribute this work just so somebody can drop in and deftly avoid all of these attempts at shoving information into them. Everybody is being very nice and calm while doing what we call spoonfeeding you. Show that you respect and appreciate the patience by using the resources that the members here have worked so diligently on providing. Trust me, it is time well spent and will keep you from making one of the many mistakes out there that will render your device the most expensive paperweight you own.
Remember, we have forums, threads, Wikis, and stickies. The purpose of all of these is to share our knowledge. Do not walk through this forest blindfolded or you'll find yourself sitting on your backside picking bark out of your teeth.

There is no such thing of FM or AM radios in this PDA phone...
That radio is a ROM extension that manages the cellular/wifi/bluetooth radio frequency emissions and audio.
Please read the WIKI in full...

To answer your question, you might need to go to Start->Setting->System->Device Information, then you will see basic information on your device

ah ah ah remember... dutty being the god that he is has gotten an FM radio to work (sorta) and we can download that cab but we need a wired headset to use the FM radio and personally i can't see spending $400 on a phone if you are unwilling to shell out a few more bucks to get a bt headset so i don't have the wired headset to use the FM radio

I mean If you are talking about the Phone Radio You won't "find it."
However others have brought up a good point, if you mean FM radio. You won't find one either. It doesn't work.

Guys I succesfully dumped Cotulla dft sspl hd mini bootloader from ram, hex compared it, ida pro compared also (I see in asm all modifications, I see deleted parts of spl in sspl, but I am not an expert in asm) so I waiting an developer who is good in asm to enable spl uploading to nand from sspl! Here is all you need: (spl is original hd mini bootloader, sspl is modified hd mini bootloader but sspl is able only to flash rom and not spl "Cotulla disabled that option!"). There is raw dump and raw dump in hex and there is an hard spl hspl from htc hd2 leo dumped directly from memory! Also there is sspl.exe (from there I dumped sspl) extracted from Cotulla dft sspl hd mini (run from winCe - you will see 3 color screen - temporaly super cid enabled bootloader!)
I tried all to get writing to memory region (spl region in nand) but absolutely no way to write to that memory region, so I stoping here all my developments ...I want to say you GOOD LUCK with our phone ...goodbye guys

1.Have you compared mini with wildfire S ?
I think maybe the bootloader in wildfier S may indicate something.
2.maybe we need sometool like RSA(motorola) to crack the spl.
why don't you work with robin schlund and other devs?

Well... they're hidden often times (not always), but I wish they need some help of us....
I don't know what they're doing with the project.. I saw the Issues page, but in what stage.. it looks like isn't up to date.. don't know..

they are not hidden,they are just not this kind of developers which says "i think i fixed this and that"(and finally it wasn't) ..they will post fixes(tested fixes) and releases,and also answering and supporting their releases.
When a fix will be done they will post about it,don't worry
As about help..i don't think you have the knowledge to help them..do you know how to unlock bootloader,how to fix video,etc?

they should talk more (if possible), not only when new fixes releases.
