Guys I succesfully dumped Cotulla dft sspl hd mini bootloader from ram, hex compared it, ida pro compared also (I see in asm all modifications, I see deleted parts of spl in sspl, but I am not an expert in asm) so I waiting an developer who is good in asm to enable spl uploading to nand from sspl! Here is all you need: (spl is original hd mini bootloader, sspl is modified hd mini bootloader but sspl is able only to flash rom and not spl "Cotulla disabled that option!"). There is raw dump and raw dump in hex and there is an hard spl hspl from htc hd2 leo dumped directly from memory! Also there is sspl.exe (from there I dumped sspl) extracted from Cotulla dft sspl hd mini (run from winCe - you will see 3 color screen - temporaly super cid enabled bootloader!)
I tried all to get writing to memory region (spl region in nand) but absolutely no way to write to that memory region, so I stoping here all my developments ...I want to say you GOOD LUCK with our phone ...goodbye guys

I think maybe the bootloader in wildfier S may indicate something.
2.maybe we need sometool like RSA(motorola) to crack the spl.

Well... they're hidden often times (not always), but I wish they need some help of us....
I don't know what they're doing with the project.. I saw the Issues page, but in what stage.. it looks like isn't up to date.. don't know..
I liked to know how they're now.. do they need any help us.. or something another else?

they are not hidden,they are just not this kind of developers which says "i think i fixed this and that"(and finally it wasn't) ..they will post fixes(tested fixes) and releases,and also answering and supporting their releases.
When a fix will be done they will post about it,don't worry
As about help..i don't think you have the knowledge to help them..do you know how to unlock bootloader,how to fix video,etc?

I love the latest ROM release. But I have to say, Having the Joker cheesing back at me everytime i Re-Boot my phone is shall we say, way to reminiscent of a bad Batman Movie. So before I break out in "...golly-gee wilickers Batman, the Jokers has taken control of my Bat-Phone..." I need your help in not just changing the splash to a generic HTC screen but, to something a bit more palatable.

That means I know how to put up the generic HTC. I want to customize a boot splash as well. I am familiar with the tools but I am asking for help from some one who knows a bit more than myself. Thank you for your input.

wow, i am soooo sorry. hahaa i was in a hurry to defend jesterz. because i am very grateful for his work on all these ROMs (and i'm sure you agree with me). and I feel he shouldn't be bothered with such simple questions he answered/posted before (and such simple question = my misunderstanding of yours, my apologies).

You can try “ThingOnASpring” new version and that will be version 3.2 or you can wait for “Beasty & Leo” new ROM. Rumors going around that the new version is going to change the way we see our universal. So there is a big hype about their new ROM.

(I think this makes my device G3 ! Right ?)

Thanks alot for ur concern in my problem!
I read about 'thingonaspring' but I got confused when I read this warning:
'Before flashing ANY 5.2.19xx-based ROM your phone should be fully unlocked and SuperCID, otherwise it may lock up or crash randomly'
I wasn't able to understand what actually 'full unlocked and SuperCID' meant.. I was also confused that how to make my device superCID.
If you have any knowledge about it... please do let me know!
and u r rite about 'Beasty & Leo' ROM, even I've read same things about it so let's hope for the best !

I've got a HTC Tytn 2 bought in the netherlands and it's shipped rom version 1.56.404.6 and radio version 1.27.1.32
I've searched and tried 3 different roms:
Ruu_Signed_Duttys_WM6.1_Hybrid_1.64.08.21__RTM_
Ruu_Signed_Duttys_WM6.1_5.2.19700_Hybrid_V2_1_65.14.06_CubeV2_
NoThrills_WM61_NLD_V3.exe
They all give error [262]
I've disabled the windows firewall.
Did a clean XP install and activesync 4.5
None works.
Anyone can point me in the right direction? as i'm new here.
ps. what mean these terms?
Cube, No_Cube, Lite and Hybrid?

search for duttys roms they are the best XD and remember before you upgrade download and install hard spl or you can brick your phone

Its not blurry. Start with the sticky and read. Hardspl, how to flash, sd or usb, there is alot of info to read before you flash.

Like P1tater said before start on the first sticky of the forum or just click on the Link in my signature labeled "Flashing virgins click here". That will reveal all pertinent information. And like stated above this post for the love of God, Allah, Flying Spaghetti Monster, or whoever HardSPL first.

How is it blurry? There's a huge link with nice big red letters in that sticky that even a pile of freshly shaven wool covered in alfredo sauce would know addresses your question:

I hate to say this but I never had to ask how to flash a ROM to my TytnII (AT&T Tilt). Every question on flashing ROMs has been answered time and time again. It doesn't matter what phone (Pocket PC, Smart phone, or other), you need to unlock it before you can change the OS, built-in OEM software, or the entire ROM on the device. You will only be able to update the device with the manufacturer's or cellphone comany's software updates if you do not unlock the phone.
As for updating to WM6.1, there is no update method that I know of. You will have to flash an entire 6.1 ROM to your phone. If your cell phone company releases an "update" to 6.1, it will most likely be a complete ROM and not an update like they might say.
Due to European law, most all phones are unlocked for use on different networks. That does not mean you can just flash any ROM to your phone, it still has to be software unlocked.
HINT: look up "HardSPL" or use the XDA-Wiki link at the top of your screen.

I did not notice that i've first need to unlock the htc.(i did not find it in the faq)
This is what i did:
1] kaiser-HardSPLv1
2] Ruu_Signed_Duttys_WM6.1_5.2.19700_Hybrid_V2_1_65.14.06_No_CubeV2_
Now to figure out how to set the thing to 24hours clock.

I can't update the Rom of my Htc Tilt to wm 6.1 (Duttys Non cube 1.65.14 and Hybrid 1.64.08-tried both). The update process is starting and stays at 0% for 2-3 mins , then showing an error message-"ERROR 262 UPDATE ERROR:..........
I attached a pic of the error message.
Now what shld i do? PLS PLS HELP and REP ASAP.
Did you follow all directions, including Hard SPL first?
Check the Wiki for answers to this error. And use Firefox to post so it will correct all your punctuation and grammatical errors.

for your sake i sure hope you flashed hardspl onto your tilt before deciding to flash a rom .. If you did make sure you read the information relevant to your phone and the procedure you were atempting than you are not in too much trouble. All you probably need to do is make sure your phone is synced to the pc and give the flash another shot.
If however you were feeling lazy and didn't bother reading any of the instructions and just flashed the rom after downloading it off of the thread than my friend you are royally screwed. I don't know what to tell you to do next if you didn't flash hardspl first as i don't know (nor hope to) the consequences for not doing that. You need to get in touch with the senior members (be nice in your request) like gsleon3 and see if they can help you solve your issue.

I think you may want to read the wiki's and do the HardSPL, it may save you from paying money for a new device. IMO

best rom is a matter of opinion, try a few see what you like, personally i don't like dutty's roms, i prefer a fully loaded multimedia gaming rom like movile vista 1.3, and as far as your CUBE question search

copy this file do you device.

Please, oh please....don't do another thing to that phone until you have read GWENI. People here have broken a lot of devices and compiled an unbelievable amount of information so that newcomers won't have to make the same destructive mistakes or ask the same old tired questions. It is oh so very frustrating to contribute this work just so somebody can drop in and deftly avoid all of these attempts at shoving information into them. There is no such thing of FM or AM radios in this PDA phone...
That radio is a ROM extension that manages the cellular/wifi/bluetooth radio frequency emissions and audio.

To answer your question, you might need to go to Start->Setting->System->Device Information, then you will see basic information on your device

ah ah ah remember... dutty being the god that he is has gotten an FM radio to work (sorta) and we can download that cab but we need a wired headset to use the FM radio and personally i can't see spending $400 on a phone if you are unwilling to shell out a few more bucks to get a bt headset so i don't have the wired headset to use the FM radio

I mean If you are talking about the Phone Radio You won't "find it."
However others have brought up a good point, if you mean FM radio. You won't find one either. It doesn't work.

In the post he say's that device felt very fast compared to the Diamond.
Maybe we could benefit from it also.

Perhaps the HTC stuff from this rom, and the OS from the Xperia 20226 - although both of these are Beta roms, stability may be an issue.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Reading the post it seems that it will benefit Diamond owners more than Kaiser owners, plus there's nothing there that can help with porting Manilla over.
But I've been wrong before, although it was only 1 time.

The UI interface won't work on Kaiser, we know this already. Looking for some new Builds though and maybe better drivers....how about some new apps. This is what I would like to see

Hope this isn't too n00b of a question, but what about the OS version? If the UI won't work, that 's fine; but perhaps the OS is a bit more optimized and will work well for the kaiser..? what about the Radio? can it be used? Is it any better than what we have now?

Nope radio's won't work. GSLEON bravely tried to flash a Diamond Radio and it bricked his device. I would recommend that you wouldn't do this.
The OS version is what I am talking about.
The Windows build is 19960.1.2.2
Did the dump and alot of nice programs built into the SYS folder....problem is like the Diamond is that it is made for a VGA screen so in order to use a majority of the programs they need to be scaled down or reconfigured...
Doing a ROM right now with an XIP Port and moderated SYS port will let you know how it goes!!!

send the cab file to ryncppr and let him give it try once he finish putting together his test rom.

what kitchen are you guys using, I got the sys folder with all of the stuff in it, but I can't port over the XIP for some reason. Keep getting errors. As a matter of fact, zipped up my SYS folder is 99MB. I cant even get it to build the OS. AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH
