I'm trying to cook my own rom and i have a few questions:
1. How do i change the default page in internet explorer to another htm file?
2. Can i edit the device information to my own needs? and how do i do that?

And also if we can remove the Write Protection from it, then we can Build our customized EXT_Rom, and use the extra few MBs -if any- for other Gizmos.

Ahm, currently we can't even unlock a standard ROM of a x7510 less speaking of an extended ROM...question answered?

Have you tried Resco Explorer, I beleieve it is able to see the contents of the Extension ROM, I am not sure whether you can also edit it, but just give it a try.
the totalcommander shows the content from extended rom, but you cant edit/delete

First of all, thanks for reading this, it's my first question and there were a lot of answers about some questions from users that were usseful for me.
I have HTC Touch Diamond 2 and i would like to know the best way and the safe way too, to install wm 6.5. At the Support from the oficial HTC site, it was possible for me to download the file that will install it.
And i would like to know the best software to make the Backup in HTC Dimond 2.
