Short question:
1. Is there a way to change the language manually on a cooked Rom?
2. Yes? Can anybody provide me the thread were the instructions are?
I would appreciate it very much.
Come on people, nobody has the answer?
I know it"s a newbie question but I'm not, I just don't have any experience with cooking and modding.

I'm just trying to flash wm6 and found following page in czech language how to flash a rom without concerning about CID. I'm asking myself if this is possible and going to work properly?

Hi Folks....ive been looking around the forums, and as my knowldge is rather miminual could someone hold my hand?
Ive just bought the tytn II (italian) and i want to change the OS language to English. With my limitated understadning, some of the roms ive seen are bundled with extras, is it posible just to install one section (i.e. the language) or is the language part and parcel of the complete rom?
I dont want to ask 'which is the best?', but could someone suggest a rom that isnt so bundled with extra tweaks?
Also, ive read somewhere that the phones arent locked...si this true or do i need to do a Hard spl like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334678

Take it easy, use your Kaiser for some times and get used to it
meanwhile read all the stickies and search for some answers around this section and the Kaiser section.
Hard SPL is a must and its easy to be done
If you want a www rom; there are many verisons, the Shipped http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332246
or cooked ones, you can use Dutty's Hybird, its stable and fast.

I understand your point about using the phone a few times, but my italian is really bad, so i cant set it up as comprehensively as i would like...
I just thought that i would be better to get the language setup first, before i start to customise the phone

OK, get it unlocked with the HARD SPL, and flash it with the Duttys last rom
Hello guys. I've just found this excellent forum looking for help about the following case. Hope you can help me (I'm reading big quantity of threads and I very confused :S ):
I bought an AT&T 8925 HTC TILT KAISER TYTN II wich WM6 is original english. Is possible to flash a full Spanish ROM?. If possible, will the new ROM show Windows Mobile in Spanish?.
I only need you can tell me where to find the perfect Spanish ROM for me (if exists), and If I need to follow this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334679 to flash the new ROM.
Hope you can help me.

Yes, you can flash any ROM made for Kaiser or Tilt to your device. But you'll have to install the Tilt Keyboard fix to use your hardkeyboard properly on ROMs, that are not designed for Tilt.

would strongly urge you to read through the tutorials and to use the search function... trust me... it's worth it...

Before posting I read the wiki and some threads, but I'm still confused about what and what not is a valid ROM for my Tilt.

i don't think there is an exact definition of the term "dumped rom". Dumping a rom is basically extracting the rom that is installed on your device. when you dump a rom you get imgfs of the rom. Than you can further extract these imgfs by first converting them into raws ..
This is my understanding .. someone with more knowledge can probably elaborate.
