I've been doing a little tinkering with some different versions of WM and different dialpads, and I was wondering if there is a cab for the dialpad in XDA Mobile 6, or if that is just the default WM6 dialpad.
EDIT: the default non-touch dialpad.
I don't use XDA but here are some really awesome dialpads

Is it possible to add xT9 languages to Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional?
The thing is that I want to buy an Asus P750 or a HP 614c but currently there's no localized versions with Danish xT9 yet and it will probably take a few months for those to arrive.
If it was possible to add a Danish xT9 to any of those phones that would enable me to get the UK version of either phone and just install the Danish xT9. (ie. grabbing the xT9 from a Kaiser or another WM Pro device)
I know it's possible to do on Windows Mobile Standard edition but I havn't yet been able to find some decent information about Windows Mobile Professional.
HTC SoftKeyboard applicaiton have xT9 and lang pack for various language.

But can that xT9 also be used with the numeric keypad or just with an on-screen keyboard using the touch interface?
I don't know, never try. Goodluck!
You can use it with the keyboard too, I have it installed on my TyTN II and works just fine.
Do you have any download link to the keyboard? I would like to try it out on my Ipaq 614c.
Now I'm using the "phonepad" with T9 and it works but it dont work with the hardware keyboard.

This by OEM, so you must cook it in a ROM.
I just bought a Samsung Epix. I love it. But coming from WM 6 Classic (Smartphone), I am very much missing the one-handed input speed that t9 allows. I have been searching long and far for a good tool that works well on a square screen, and the best I could come up with - TouchPal - isn't very usable on this device. I don't think the built-in skin works properly at 320 x 320. Or it's just too complicated for my needs. I want something more lightweight - something nearly as simple as xT9 for WM 6 Classic like on my Tornado.
Are there any tools that put a 6.1 Pro device into "t9" mode so I can use the number keys and have full works auto-suggested for me? It's very hard to use a full QWERTY with one hand!
If nothing exists, I'll probably write my own SIP. I know HTC Touch Pad does *not* work with a keyboard device (it just acts bizarre!), so that's a no go.
Help!

Also like touchpal...give it a try!
I would go with Finger Keyboard created and developed on XDA as well
+1 for TouchPal
Not convinced on the changes they have made for the current version but getting used to them.
FingerTouch Pro definitely the best!

Have you tried Resco keyboard?
I applied the hack to suppress text autocompletion in WM 6.1, now upgraded the system to WM 6.5 and would like to try autocompletion again--but it doesn't happen, even though I've checked to turn it on in the settings. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Which keyboard are you using? If you use the HTC Qwerty keyboard there is a button on the left that says XT9/ABC. I think that is what you are looking for.
I am on a custom windwos mobile 6.5 rom.. I have the same issue.. WHen I use the hardware keyboard it doesnt auto complete or bring up the list of words.. I applied the classic word correction and classic word completion hack and make sure they were on in the settings....
I use SWYPE as by software keyboard and that has its own word list etc which works .. any ideas?
i have a t-mobile touch pro 2, i just upgraded the rom to windows mobile 6.5 (official release from t-mobile's website) the only thing i can't figure out is how to get the old style on screen keyboard back. the tiny qwerty that looks exactly like a full size computer keyboard and has the keys that are about the size of the stylus. that keyboard was the default in windows mobile 6 and i was able to choose it under windows mobile 6.1 but now i can't find it anywhere. when i disable touch flo 3d or sense as they call it now i still have thier 3rd party keyboard app running. (click keyboard icon in center of screen and choose about)("touch input for pocket pc version 2.1 copyright htc"). i don't care if i keep thier app or kill it as long as i get the standard keyboard back. any help is greatly appreciated.
