Is it possible to add xT9 languages to Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional?
The thing is that I want to buy an Asus P750 or a HP 614c but currently there's no localized versions with Danish xT9 yet and it will probably take a few months for those to arrive.
If it was possible to add a Danish xT9 to any of those phones that would enable me to get the UK version of either phone and just install the Danish xT9. (ie. grabbing the xT9 from a Kaiser or another WM Pro device)
I know it's possible to do on Windows Mobile Standard edition but I havn't yet been able to find some decent information about Windows Mobile Professional.

But can that xT9 also be used with the numeric keypad or just with an on-screen keyboard using the touch interface?

You can use it with the keyboard too, I have it installed on my TyTN II and works just fine.
Do you have any download link to the keyboard? I would like to try it out on my Ipaq 614c.
Now I'm using the "phonepad" with T9 and it works but it dont work with the hardware keyboard.

If you can select Italian from the langage menu of the keyboard settings, it might just work.
However, I tried to get this to work in my german Kaiser and although I could select german, it did not work afterwards.
Anyone knows if it's possible to switch to italian keyboard and xt9 ?

You would need a CAB for the keyboard extracted from a italian device. Then perhaps it will work.

I have manage to fix the norwegian letters for te keypad but i still need som tips about some good phonepad with norwegian letters.
don't use wm6.5 but would assume wm6 phonepads works just fine

By default the HD2 keyboard comes with 5 languages. Does any one know how to incorporate additional languages? I am specifically interested about the greek language.
I also are intrested in alternetive language keyboard settings. I want Swedish, and that im thinking of keyboard support for Bluetooth Keyboards. External BT keyboards works great, but cant se that im using a Swedish Keyboard. We have the darn å,ä,ö thats messing up the usability for me.
Any Ideas?

Use the search tool on the top bar with key words like t9, xt9 or even et9 and your preferred language. You might find a suitable solution on another device's topics.

Use Fingerkeyboard 2.1 for additional languages... its free and has a much better interface than the standard keyboard. You can switch between languages easily...
I recently upgraded from a HTC Magic with android 1.6 to a HTC Legend with 2.1 Eclair and noticed alot of new and upgraded stuff.
The only problem is that i can't use English language in the menus without losing the swedish XT9 dictionary. is it possible to install a swedish one and where can i get it?
i already checked in my phone settings and i can't choose swedish xt9 even when i have set swedish language for the phone menus, but when i have on swedish language the swe xt9 works.. (really strange)

I have updated to 6.5, but my keyboard layout is wwe and i need Norwegian keyboard layout, if anybody could point me in the right direction, i would appreciate it. this relates to the slide out keyboard
ok, found various Norwegian keyboard files almost all were custom made and not fully mapped correctly.
But the good news is I found one that seems to map everything correctly on the slide out keyboard, its a small cab file just copy to your vox and then run on vox, job done.
I hope this is helpful to others as well.

Please note, this is only for the slide out keyboard, it does not effect your Windows Mobile display language, so will work on any language version installed
