After the lot of trials I made with Jetware several releases, I found that this one solved it realy. It reads from phonebook not SIM contacts. It shows the name and save it as a name in the calllist, however this blocked calling from calling list on your Headset.
The example below as made by our colleague Dtread1 I just copied it from Athena accessories, is showing jus the BT 8010 and the advantage, The Jetware is giving solution almost for all. The BT 8010 was not on the list of devices but using the NOkia one worked fine.
Jabra BT 8010 - Solution to display Caller ID
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the first instructions caused some confusion, and some people couldn’t get Jabra to show caller ID, hear are them more complete.
Don’t forget that caller ID only “works” if the caller is in your contact list in the HTC X7500.
A problem still remains: Dialling from Call List in BT8010 doesn’t work
1 – Delete the paring between HTC X7500 and Jabra (if you have one).
2 - Upgrade the Jabra to V1.33 . (http://uswww03.gnnetcom.com/Myjabra/... enter_na.html)
3 – Install Jetware V1.30 on your HTC X7500 (http://www.jetwaremobile.com/)
4 – Soft reset Your HTC X7500
5 – On your HTC X7500, go to -> Start -> Programs -> Bluetooth Options -> Hands-Free Config ->
Menu -> Advanced options -> Ok. Here, at least, you must select /check this options:
.Phonebooks
.Messaging
.Caller ID
.Query status indicator
.Update status indicators
.Hang up/swap to incoming call
6 – Establish a new paring.
7 – On your Jabra settings select -> Display -> Caller ID and select -> ON
8 - From your Advantage (connected to ActiveSync or GPRS) go to this link (http://www.jetwaremobile.com/bthfx/D...kia_HS-12W.jcf.)
9 - When you download that file you should get a prompt asking which paired Bluetooth device the settings should apply to
Choose -> Jabra and -> Done.
10 – Soft reset your HTC X7500.
11 – Turn off your Jabra.
12 - Turn on your Jabra
Regards

Hello
I use the "standard" Diamond (WWE ROM 1.93.479.3) with car handsfree set Nokia CK-15W. The PDA can be paired with Nokia, the connections can be made but other activities are impossible to get
I see in BT devices that Nokia supports only Hands-free Profile 1.5, not any others... But I also know (from Nokia's website & XDA) Phonebook Access Profile 1.0 but it has crippled it so it actually cannot do what is intended for.
I was unable to download contacts from Diamond to Nokia so I installed Jetware extension. It worked and the contacts have been transferred to Nokia in a minute.
Unfortunately now the car kit is almost unusable - for example:
- there is no calls history available
- I can't disconnect any call
- there is always "private number" displayed for incoming calls, no matter whether I have this person in the address book
- and many more.
I tried several different jetware configurations (enabling and disabling many features) but no matter what config I try the situation still exist. I also tried to reset both Diamond and Nokia.
Anyone can suggest something that may sort out the problem? Shall I uninstall Jetware after transferring the address book? Any more suggestions?
This should work for many HTC models having trouble pairing with Infini BT handsfree included in the DVD Nav system.
Start the pairing as shown in the Infiniti handbook.
When the Touch Pro says it has paired but the Infiniti just hangs on the connection screen, make an outgoing call (anywhere wiil do, why not call the girl/wife for a change ) and pairing will complete.
If you have had a previous phone paired to the Infiniti, you may need to actually select the HTC from the phone settings menu on the Infiniti.
Incoming and outgoing calls will work OK then.
Phonebook entries can only be sent one by one by setting the Infiniti to receive a contact and then 'Beaming' one from your contact list as you would to another phone.
Hi,
I've got a 2 cars, both with combined radios and bluetooth Hands-free phone systems. Pairing with both systems was okay, calling via bloothtooth without any problems, but if want to listen music via bluetooth (e.g. TCPMP) I have to go to bluetooth settings (in Comm Manager) and a have to select the bluetooth device and then I have to select "set as wireless stereo".
And I have to do this every time again in both cars (with different systems). After each disconnection of hands-free and mobile phone I have to repeat the process... a bit annoying.
So now I have three questions:
- Is this a bug on my phone?
- or normal behavior (fireburned's WM6.5. Clean Rom V3.1 - everything is fine except this)
- Or if this is normal -> Is it possible to create a kind a tool, which I can start in start menu, and this tool does the settings automaticly (e.g. setting missing registry data - or whatever the problem is..). Then I have to start the tool everytime again, but this would be much better than scrolling through different menus to do it by hand in Comm Manager and Bluetooth settings.
