but evesince i installed tnt 3.0
ive been having problems with the internet and gprs connection it keets reconnecting , i cant sync with msn properly without and interuption, and most of the web pages , keep giving me and error and saying it cant find the page
any suggestions?

That's quite odd. I am running TNT 3.0 and am having no problems with GPRS and the internet. I use push mail, and my GPRS is on all the time, and have had no issues at all. Could be your location and carrier? Not sure what else it can be.
You may want to look in the wiki and enable the GPRS always on tweak; that may help.
Or you may try other Radio ROM versions, it may help.

i did all a that at one point right now i have the tmobile 2.19 radio rom
it cant be the carrier because it did work before , im not sure whats happening to it now , now i cant even load the is site on the browswer and i now have to be resrting to opera mini

I got the same problem. Are you using TZone internet? That's what happened to me. Before I just install the USA_T-Mobile_WAP.CAB then the internet would work fine but since I flash the official T-mobile Rom now my Tzone internet doesn't work anymore until I do the proxy set up witch is didn't required before.
I don't know if that T-mobile official ROM mess up my device or the Tmobile bloxk The tzone itnernet. I am still looking for fix too.

yeah it kinda sux now because now i cant even veiw wap pages , well i even tried to downgrade agin and matter the rom im on , the internet behaves the same,
has any one else encountered such problem ???
im in jamaica a,d im on cable and wireless gprs ......... does that help ?

On the connection setting for your GPRS, set the proxy to 216.155.165.50:8080

As I am using XDAII for 2003se which is 2.0600WWE downloaded in this forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=16880). The radio is 1.18 and the bootloader is 1.01. As I can upgrade my rom from 2003 to 2003se without any problem, I would like to upgrade it to WM5 in these few days.
However, I face some problems in my updating.
I have try XDA_WM2k5_2.01a64WWE, XDA_WM2k5_2.01a00WWE, however, I cannot search the phone network after upgrade rom. As I have read some posts before, I know that there may be my radio's problem, so I upgrade my radio also. I have try 1.17, 1.18, 1.08 with these rom. Unlucky, it also cannot search phone network.
So. for the only solution is get back 2003se with "Asia O2 Xda II WM 2003 SE Upgrade" in this forum. I can get my network back.
As the result, I would like to ask that what problem am I facing and what can I do? Is it the problem of bootloader ? or the problem of radio?
And also, there have "Asia upgrade" for WM5? It helps me a lot and I need not to afraid the networking problem.
Please help me. .

you're lucky you can install that file to your XDA2. Mine can't I donno why. Activesync kept on disappearing. Although upgrading to 2003se is not a problem.

waht edition of active sync do you have? to get wm2005 to work it has to be active sync 4.0 or higher and for the newer roms you have to have AS 4.2 or equivalent beta versions

I'm currently using AS 4.2. The problem is that I couldn't install WM2005 2.01 64 to my himalaya. Once I double click on the installer, AS disappears and an error screen will come out after 10 mins. I also tried installing WM 3.0 but still the same result. I really wanted to try using WM2005 on my himalaya. could you guys help me?

I understand that AS will disappear the same way as it does when I installed SE. However, what puzzles me is that all of these installers will inform me that there is an error and I could not proceed further with the installation. I even have to restart my laptop because AS couldn't communicate with my himalaya after my attempted installation.
Sorry I'm not well versed with computer language/jargons that's why I could not understand the readme file. I would really appreciate it if you could guide me. Thanks.

high what network are you with and are you on contract or pay as you go?
cause i have the settings for o2 contract gprs and also havw the settings for e-mail etc
I'm now able to access my emails. however, MMS is still a problem. Still can't send or receive. I'm using a globe telecom postpaid line here in the philippines. I installed the attached file for the network configuration but still nothing.
hi guys im using haykruo g 5.01 and well my cell radio flashes in an out everywhere i go. and when i try to apply the radio update it says signature failed verification failed. the same when i am trying to install h 5.02 any direction on what to do at this point would be nice. and just like a ton of people my market dosent work either which is slightly dissapoitnting

are you downloading the updates via g1? or pc? because ive noticed that when u download updates with the g1, all of them are corrupted somehow some way. but when i get home, i donwload from the same source and it works.

So I rooted this morning, went well, no problems along the way. Immediately installed this Android Wifi Tether application (linked above) and it isn't working right.
Any computer I connect to the phone will get an IP assigned to it, it sees the gateway (phone) but it cannot ping it, cannot ping out to the internet.
IPConfig output looks like this:
IP Address: 192.168.1.103
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.2.254
I've tried following the FAQ on the site, tried reinstalling the config files whatever, no help. I've also tried enabling/disabling WEP security, makes no difference, the computer still connects and sees the network as unsecured. :wtf:
If there's a different application I should use let me know. I'm just wondering if there are other settings I should be playing with.
Are you on the stock ROM or a custom ROM?

i think you may need to download an older version but i forgot which one, im running it right noe on Darch AOSP 2.1 and its running great
I think its one that has a pre1 in it
You should have a custom ROM to use that, I recommend MoDaCo's if you don't want your phone to change that much. Also, give mine a try
On MoDaCo now, working fine, wifi tether works flawlessly.

although there was something in the stock rom that interfered (that most custom roms dont have), it DOES work with the pre1 version that was mentioned and posted... you do not HAVE to upgrade to a cooked rom.

You should download the 1.70 pre2 version. It will keep your phone from heating up so much like the earlier versions did. I've been using it on Fresh 1.1, Gumbo 1.5b, and the various 2.1 ROMS lately, all with great results.

I updated my skyrocket to ics from gingerbread through keis. After doing so i noticed that i lost my wifi capabilities, att and samsung coundnt help at this point all it would do is say wifi turning on but it never would and i think i remember seeing my mac address in the phone status. Then i walked into the att store and my att wifi hotspot started working so i held signal for a min until i left i came home it wouldnt work so i flashed back to gingerbread using odin now it says wifi mac adress unavalable. When i try to turn on wifi in seting it acts like its going to but dont then says error under ive done resets recoverys all that crap and i cant figure this out i realy need some help. Any advice

I had that same issue when I updated my girl's skyrocket to ICS via kies. It seems to fine now after a couple reboots and a few days of use. I would root the phone and do a complete wipe and flash stock ICS but thats just me.

i guess ill try that and se if it helps i havent tryed rooting yet . did you use odin for your flash and what flash did you use.and did you root before or after you flashed. just kinda wanting to get a heads up on the prosses

I used ODIN to root and recovery to flash the prefered ROM

Use odin and return to stock. Then re-try the update.

A buddy of mine has been going crazy trying to get his wifi working on his tmobile htc one s, we tried completely wiping and formating everything, tried multiple roms (on AOKP now), but no matter what we can't get his wifi to connect.
The phone sees all the nearby networks, but only saves them and will not connect.
Any way to fix this? He would really appreciate it.

If he is on hboot 1.14 or 1.13 that is a common issue of which you describe. He can either use the newest RUU to restore to stock for wifi again or downgrade hboots with the new tutorial and continue using a custom rom. If he isn't on 1.14 or 1.13 I'm not sure then.
