Windows Mobile 6 - Titanium 2 (WM6Ti) for Universal ?

I'm starting this thread because I saw this amazing ROM for Wizard. Http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310864&highlight=titanium+2
Is it possible for this ROM, under modification, to run on our Universals?
And how difficult that would be?

Sorry but I'm new with WM phones. Still using my Treo 650. I didn't understand that very well. Already tried that ROM. I thought it would simulate the one of I-phone with the HTC cube but I didn't find that fuction. Could you be a little more specific?

ROMs for Wizards wont work on Universals.
It is very difficult to port a ROM from one device to another.
We already have several WM6 ROMs for the Universal. Pick one.
Then just install those other apps they included on the WM6Ti ROM.
About the HTC cube thingy on Elf (Touch), they haven't figured out how to get them to work on Universal yet. And since only few devs are left working on the Universal now.. you probably won't see that happening soon.

I've installed the New HTC Home Plug for the Wizrd it runs well, but the problem is that the row which shows the missed phone calls, the sms and the e-mails appears only the by half. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Think it's a problem with using the same CABs between VGA and non-VGA phones.

What do you mean by "since only few devs are left working on the Universal"? I haven't seen as many on the other forums, as on the universal one, or am I wrong?

We used to have Midget_1990, helmi_c, indra, etc.
The only ones left are Ivan, Laurentius26, and kdskamal making new ROMs.
Laurentius26 and kdskamal only creates new ROMs via the kitchen using the same old base ROMs.. so they're not really the kind of guys that ports a ROM from one device to another, but of course they could also do it in due time, that's why I said we are not going to see that anytime soon.
Besides, they don't need to port those ROMs since we already have a very good base ROM (courtesy of Midget). All that is needed to do is fix a few problems (wifi, mms, and that bloody video call). And that's what our master guru god Laurentius26 is doing.

Do you know what they switched to?

Can anybody confirm if Jwrightcmp is working on an updated ROM for the universal with the current build.

Midget's currently using a Himalaya, he broke his Uni. He's planning to get the Advantage for his next device. I don't know about the others.

Everything one needs to do a Tilt to TYTN 2 conversion!

So far it seems that you need 3 things to turn a Tilt into a TYTN 2
1. Hard SPL
2. Kaiser Shipped ROM
3. Keyboard fix
I haven't gone about doing my conversion just yet.. but it seems that these are the only required apps?
I would appreciate it if an experianced individual could provide a confimation or correction to my thoughts.

Sounds good to me, course my Tilt ROM didn't last longer than 10 minutes past charging time...HELLO AustinSync Big ROM!

Yep, the Camera in the front, and also u gotta unlock your phone, then u pretty much have a TYTN II.........Good luck with that!

Ok so after flashing the phone... i wanna get rid of the ATT branding and replace it with my custom Terrorist branding.. anyone got any ideas?

So my Tilt comes in tomorrow! So my question is, is the Kaiser Shipped ROM the best way to go? Any other suggestions from Tilt users on the other ROMs (there does not seem to be many). Perhaps the Kaiser AKU.0.7.0 Cooked ROM?

for me personally go with Dutty's rom! They are fast, stable, lots of apps, and of course like any rom you can tweak away!

I have a tilt and i am using Dutty's, probably the best out there in my opinion

no you didn't understand what I was saying I said ROM not phone

I got my phone last night and spent a couple hours setting it up...
I got it Unlocked
Put the HTC firmware on it
Added the keyboard fix
Configured the gps
and signed up for media max for $20
and now im ready to go and piss on some iphones

Yep, nice ROM this is what I am using now. Camera works great too (this picture is pretty much middle of Austin, Texas that I took at my office parking lot).

Dutty's WM6.1 Rom?

Why can't I find Dutty's WM6.1 Rom? ...or is it that it don't exist yet?! Which I would find very strange considering Dutty's usual pace is 3 Roms before going to bed ....
Its just that I'm using his ROM 6 V3 for my Tilt and its been ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL to me. Funny how one guy can make the WM6 platform more stable /useful in mere days of work than MS and their "team" of experts taking 2+ years..

Oh.. thats why. I went to his new site and found the latest to be V4 of the Polaris for the Kaiser, I believe.
BTW: can you share some thoughts on Dutty's 6.1 beta you're using. Any bugs?.. warnings?!

Unfortunately, there's been some unnecessary talk in my thread that has forced me to request a mod to delete it. In no way does this mean FingerMe is going to stop being developed, I will be releasing 0.5 soon in a new thread.
I also request that other people respect other's threads. We are a community here to help other people, and that has always been our mission. However, it gets difficult sometimes when our fellow cooks and users feel that their opinions mean more than the respect of others. It takes a lot of time and effort into making these ROMs, and many of the greatest cooks in these threads have had to sacrifice many hours of each day to try to make something great for you as a community. Therefore true respect is the very best gift you can give someone, but the very least that they deserve. Looks like all the good HTC Mega packages are in there. I thought about releasing a ROM with them, too, but I decided that I'm going to stick to kitchen making for now.
I love the fact that we finally have full QVGA versions of all those programs instead of ported versions.
How's that comm manager treating you? It doesn't seem to like the Wing/Herald without some mods.

Well I haven't done a ton of testing on it. I just added the OEM packages and it worked. Haven't done a ton of testing on it. Just basic testing, and so far everything on that works.
Most of the modding I had to do was to get these things to work well with 6.1, but it's looking more and more like FingerMe 1.0 will be a Windows Mobile 6.5 release... I'll have to see how the RAM looks though.

Yep, WM6.5 version is coming soon. Me and apreichner are teaming up. I'm doing the OS, he's doing the packages. It'll be boss. Thanks again, Ivan!!

Huh, I'd think it'd work on any ROM.

And this ROM shouldn't be any different than the Ava ROM or the PointROM. They're all the same kitchen, and apreincher didn't change anything that would break WiFi.

Yep, unfortunately, those packages are meant to work with 6.5 so they go nutz with 6.1 at times.

The free version of WifiRouter or whatever it's called isn't compatible with most 6.1 builds or any 6.5 builds.

Did you fix the problem of the growing cprog file that eventually eats up all storage memory. This has been reported to be a problem with the phone canvas from HTC mega
