Why can't I find Dutty's WM6.1 Rom? ...or is it that it don't exist yet?! Which I would find very strange considering Dutty's usual pace is 3 Roms before going to bed ....
Its just that I'm using his ROM 6 V3 for my Tilt and its been ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL to me. Funny how one guy can make the WM6 platform more stable /useful in mere days of work than MS and their "team" of experts taking 2+ years..

Oh.. thats why. I went to his new site and found the latest to be V4 of the Polaris for the Kaiser, I believe.
BTW: can you share some thoughts on Dutty's 6.1 beta you're using. Any bugs?.. warnings?!

There is no official ROM for HTC universal available yet. I have previously use Ivans Touch Rom. Currently using PDAVIET 21.10.10. all the ROM available having some little problems like WIFE,email, video call etc

I have issue with both ...
Wifi & email
Currently i'm using the PDA_Viet ROM 2.10.10 and I don't have the wifi problem.
Creating a newvemail accout is possible after the known regestry tweak. For now it is a good and stable ROM.
The only thing is that you have to say bye bye to video call...
Looks like the only Wifi problem free ROMs are Jwright's 2.02.02 and PDAVIET's 2.10.10.
For people having problems with WIFE, you can install Flowers v0.3 Beta (it doesn't always work, buggy) or a more expensive program called Jewelry v2.1 which is always guaranteed to work.

Be frank I dont know. Universal is somehow aged device therefore the service providers will focus on the newer devices. Beside HTC Omni(universal successor ) is coming out by October Then universal will be really older version!!!
there was not even a live picture of OMNI. only ambiguous figure. kaiser had not sold everywhere ... the same POLARIS we still do not see ... KAISER at least initially, and then POLARIS fellow and then OMNI. and the coming of OMNI happen until December

In my case(I m still very young and thus got a beautiful GF), none of the things you mentioned work for >1day. After 1day, she(and sometimes me) yammer over something and I hate it.
But, you know what, a tight hug does the job and sweet kiss emblazon the whole relationship

I would say that this thread had deteriorated, but when it starts with someone asking for the Official Version of WM6 for the Universal - you know its going to be bad
The interest in our Universals is fading fast (or completely gone already).. it's already 2 years old. The developers are getting newer devices... The manufacturers no longer support it.

Let him work on it. I think he's doing a great job. I'd rather wait and have a good rom, than get it now and have a incomplete rom. He's probably working out a few kinks.

after testing a lot of duttys ROMs as well as a few others I have to say that quentins ROM is a very good alternative, either for good or just while waiting
I'd go along with that - flashed Quentin's 1.2 a couple of days ago and I like it. It'll feed the addiction until Dutty's next

yeah! me too. but you gotta check out quentin! he is awsome. the kaiser teaks, the fast flow, no hang ups, awsome wiki (you know what you are doing when you flash!) cache setting that works better than anything else I have tried. This is a VERY HIGH quality ROM!

19400 was only just released for the Kaiser a few days ago. (As well as a few other devices) I thought of porting it, but I didn't have the want, need nor time to.
Looking forward to another ROM from itje, though. The more ROM's, the merrier. Now, if I could just get past this school semester and spend some time on that kitchen...
EDIT: Actually from your lol... I wonder if 19700 is what you're porting. I thought that was WM6.1 Standard only, though.

Ok Guys I have resisted long enough. Tell me why every rom I flash only gets me part on the rom. Like right now I have the latest version of touch it,but yet I hav a blank home screen?.....

No, it's newer internals and all the GUI changes of 23041, so it's newer AND better.
The older 234xx series is older.

You'll know when he does because you will see it here. If I were Ivan, I would delay the release one week for every time someone pestered me about it. Porting ROMs is not easy, be patient people. It'll be here when it gets here.
I ported it as soon as it came out... but I've been busy with work and school. I just sent it to Apreincher, so you'll see it soon enough.
