Hi there!
On most download pages where I found the HTC Audio Manager the requirements are described as "WM2003se or above" or "WM2003/WM2003se/WM5/WM6".
So does anybody know if there is a way to get this nice player working on my magician (or any other WM2003se phone)??
If not, is there a simple audio player with a similar interface (e.g. ipod-like interface) which also reads the id3-tags (and of course let me sort the songs regarding them)?
Thanks a lot, Roman
I have searched the threads but found no real answers yet.
HTC home plugin installed on AT&T Tilt Rom, when you try to select start audio manager, I get The file AudioManager cannot be opened. etc etc
Audio manager is installed in my program files.
How can i fix this?
Think i read somewhere to copy the whole audiomanager files into windows directory. Will that work?
Also is there a better way to do that, don't want to clutter up my windows directory more than microsoft already has.
Thanks!
Good question. I just realize this morning that I have the same problem.
I found a fix
1) Uninstall Audio Manager and HTC Home Plugin
2) Install Audio Manager
3) Install HTC Home Plugin
4) Fixed
For some reason you have to install Audio Manager first.
You can find the files Here incase you deleted them.
Actually
It turns out the fix above only switches the player to Windows Media Player. I think the error from HTC Audio Manager is from the install. I found a different version that works fine.

Thanks Pops_G, I had this problem too and this version of Audio Manager fixed it.
Hello all:
I have an HTC touch ELF0100 GSM model. It comes with the HTC Audio Manager (AM) version 1.02 build 409.721 with a Black Skin. The manager sorts music alphabetically and not by track number.
I've been searching this forum, but I am very confused on which one is the newest version and if the latest version will sort tracks correctly.
I'm a heavy user of the "Today" audiomanager plugin, so I really want Audio Manager rather than WMP. I'm also very bad about installing software other than CAB files...and editing the registry creeps me out.
Can someone point me to the latest version (cab) of the audio manager and-or advise me on how I can get AM to sort the tracks correctly.
Thank you very much.

i have same problem .
we need helps!
PoorlyDuck's Diamond Audio Manager (QVGA). Also there is KidnamedAlbert's Audio Manager Other than that you could always grab an OEM version of the Audio Manager or an older version.
Hello all! I've grown quite fond of using Audio Manager since it's faster than WMP so great to use as an iPod! I find it odd though that I'm not able to use the left and right arrows when using this player through the Today plugin. I can launch audio manager and play/pause but not next and previous? I'm using an HTC s743, does someone maybe have a better plugin I can try? Is there just something in the registry I need to add to get this functionality?
Hi all, I've got a problem on my HTC HD2 (running NexusHD2-Gingerbread), however this doesn't seem to be a rom related problem as I flashed with a different rom (based on the Desire) and have the same issue.
Basically it seems the system wide media library (so not an app issue) is using the Artist Album tag rather than the album tag in applications such as Winamp, Power Amp, and the stock player. As a result when I select albums in these I get a long list of single track listings for each album for any compilation albums that I have on my SD card.... this is driving me insane because I cant then easily play a whole compilation album.
I have been using Android builds on my HD2 for months now and never had this problem before, it's only stated happening with the last two but different builds I have used.
Any idea's please?
Thanks
Seems to be a common problem.... http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=5938
