Hello all:
I have an HTC touch ELF0100 GSM model. It comes with the HTC Audio Manager (AM) version 1.02 build 409.721 with a Black Skin. The manager sorts music alphabetically and not by track number.
I've been searching this forum, but I am very confused on which one is the newest version and if the latest version will sort tracks correctly.
I'm a heavy user of the "Today" audiomanager plugin, so I really want Audio Manager rather than WMP. I'm also very bad about installing software other than CAB files...and editing the registry creeps me out.
Can someone point me to the latest version (cab) of the audio manager and-or advise me on how I can get AM to sort the tracks correctly.
Thank you very much.

i have same problem .
we need helps!
PoorlyDuck's Diamond Audio Manager (QVGA). Also there is KidnamedAlbert's Audio Manager Other than that you could always grab an OEM version of the Audio Manager or an older version.

hi all,
in the library, does anyone know how to view by track number?. by that i mean when i click on 'artist', 'album' the track order is always alphabetical and not in the original order.
i'm running audio manager 1.02 build 409.721
Hi there!
On most download pages where I found the HTC Audio Manager the requirements are described as "WM2003se or above" or "WM2003/WM2003se/WM5/WM6".
So does anybody know if there is a way to get this nice player working on my magician (or any other WM2003se phone)??
If not, is there a simple audio player with a similar interface (e.g. ipod-like interface) which also reads the id3-tags (and of course let me sort the songs regarding them)?
Thanks a lot, Roman
I have searched the threads but found no real answers yet.
HTC home plugin installed on AT&T Tilt Rom, when you try to select start audio manager, I get The file AudioManager cannot be opened. etc etc
Audio manager is installed in my program files.
How can i fix this?
Think i read somewhere to copy the whole audiomanager files into windows directory. Will that work?
Also is there a better way to do that, don't want to clutter up my windows directory more than microsoft already has.
Thanks!
Good question. I just realize this morning that I have the same problem.
I found a fix
1) Uninstall Audio Manager and HTC Home Plugin
2) Install Audio Manager
3) Install HTC Home Plugin
4) Fixed
For some reason you have to install Audio Manager first.
You can find the files Here incase you deleted them.
Actually
It turns out the fix above only switches the player to Windows Media Player. I think the error from HTC Audio Manager is from the install. I found a different version that works fine.

Thanks Pops_G, I had this problem too and this version of Audio Manager fixed it.
As always, I did extensive search on this site and Google but was not able to obtain an answer to my problem.
Problem: When changing the default audio player from "Audio Manager" to "Windows Media Player" using "HTC Home Customizer version 1.0b5", I am not able to see the song details after the WMP is launched or use the "previous - play - forward" controls. This feature only works when using the "Audio Manager" player and I would like it to work with WMP.
Any assistance in finding a solution to my problem would be greatly appreciated.
Device info: T-Mobile MDA - Rom 10.1.0.811 WWE - XDA Mobile 6r3 - HTC Homeplugin version "htc_home_xplode_n2a". I use this version because it allows me to update the weather tab via GPRS.
Interesting, I'm running a WM 6.1 Prophet, not a Wizard, but with the same problem. I think maybe it's a problem with the version of HTC Home I installed. Back when I was using a different ROM that had htc home cooked-in, the music launch tab worked fine. I'm wondering if one of the HH_... files that htc home installs in the windows directory can't be replaced with a different version to make it work.
EDIT: Double checked, the "HH" files are all .pngs, and only determine the look of the home plugin. So scratch that idea.
A follow-up: I've solved the problem by just installing another version of HTC Home 1.5, since I needed the patch to receive the weather via proxy server (a la T-Mobile). You can find the version I used here:

I should note that the problem started when I changed the default music player from the HTC audio manager to Media Player; the 1.5 cab I got was from pocketemu.com was set up that way, and I used the HTC Home Customizer to change the default player. It seems that the 0.8 version of the Customizer doesn't change all of the relevant settings for the audio player tab.
To all cooks, in all of the most resent roms with WM6.5 or WM6.1 running TF3D 2.0/2.1 or higher the audiomanager doesn't work with avcrp (bluetooth remote control) so I have to get my phone out of my jacket when I want to go to the next song, my remote control doesn't work. I'm aware that this is a bug in the audiomanger, but is there anyone who have fixed this yet? I'm absolutely not a fan of wmp or other players, and I'm stuck with some old wm6.1 version where avcrp still works.
Does anyone has a solution for this?
Edit; CR192 Touch HD™ V6.5.0.0.2 has a new engine `Audio Manager Engine ( LEO )´ which works, maybe other rom cooks can use this aswell to get avcrp up and running
Hello!
I have same problem, i think the bug is in wich program has to answer to remote button presses. I think wmp and manilla audio manager are both answering to buttons on remote and all music playback goes to hell
Usualy when i press play/pause button audio manager starts to play song and wmp is starting in the background, then music starts to shater and in while all comes to hold
To listen to the music via bluetooth i disabled music tab in manilla, and im using wmp

I believe this should solve your issue. Except, if you Plan on using MSVC, make sure you install that first then the cab, that's only if you don't have it already in the ROM.
AVCRP fix
Here is a cab that i been using. and it works like a charm
Thanks for your reply's, I'll try to flash a new rom when I'm home with one (or booth) of the cabs. I'll let you know if it worked
