as long as you install the SDKCERTS.cab should be fine but why would you want to take a step back the dail pad is amazing that comes with the Kaiser

He is using EZdial on his diaer, and it dosent fit on the Kaiser dialer.

shay is right it is not possible to use EZDail on the default dialped.
since the default dialped that comes with the original ROM on the Kaiser is also a SKIN
it is not possible to disable it by editing the registry and install a different skin because the original skin always have preference
i need to find a way to disable the default dialped deeper than only editing the following registry velue :
HLM > Security > Phone > Skin > Enabled to 0 from 1

I also want to change my current dial pad on vario III. I already have whats presented in first post and want to have something I had on my wizard with WM6 which looked like this. Any ideas how to change to that dialpad?

I managed to get this dialpad by mistake !
I tried to use the program "Realvga". It has an option to remove dialpad which I selected, It then gave me this dialpad that you are talking about. Obviously the rest of the programs fatures didnt work. But i find this defualt dialpad to be faster then the default Kaisers pad.
Lemme know if this is what you are after.

The registry key posted above by ori_lavee and a soft reset are enough to get back to the original dialpad, which i like better than htc's dialer, but..... 3g video call doesn't work. it's not on the dial pad, it's in the menu, but it doesn't work

yes that is the problem

well not for me as I'm not using video calling but i can imagine it is a serious limitation nevertheless

I was just checking in to see if there was a new dialer perhaps that looks like the one on the touch - like the one in the attached jpg in the first photo?

Dutty's newest ROM for the Tilt has almost that exact dialer.

Thank you very much! I don't use speed dial but the person who asked me if I could find one complained that speed dial disn't work afterwards - do you know if I just wasn't doing something right.

If you want to revert to the standard (and nicer IMHO) WM6 dialpad, just edit the following key :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\phone\skin]
Enabled = 0

Thank you, it works. Now I have a DialPAD I like. After custom ROM I got a Touch DialPAD which somehow missing the Speed Dial key pad.

Was the same for me, and I didnt like the blue background for reading the smartdialer's matching entries

Can't get color keyboard or dialer to work.

I am using Schap's WM6 Pro 4.22 and I have installed the cabs for the keyboard and dialer and restarted, however it is still coming up as the big black keyboard, and the black dialer. When I select "keyboard" in the options it does not show anything, I then realized that the TOUCH keyboard was the only one that is working. I have a Tilt btw.
Hope this made sense.

I have never get it work either. It just disappear after installation. But it is a critical so I let it slide.

This has worked fine for me too, but I found that if I uninstall the M&M TOuch Wait Cursor, I lose the gray keyboard too. Something is being changed in the wait cursor cab file that also is effecting teh keyboard. go figure...

Sprint Theme from Diamond

Anyone out there that wants to make this theme work oki on the raphael.
its alot of bugs in it and the landscape mode dont works etc.

Make sure you have restored the original theme first with TF3D Config before installing the theme...

If that doesn't help, unzip the attached file on your Windows folder.
Hopefully it will work.
PS.: If it does work maybe I could edit the files to fit the whole sprint theme...

oki, thx man. there is also a bug when deleting sms. the text that comes up is totally different. do u know if that is fixed

Edit: Don't install the theme file (have a clean TF3D)... only the cab files.
SprintBackgroundAllTabs.cab - Looks like this doesn't work in TouchPro

SprintMenuIcons.cab
Let's hope this works

havent tried yours yet. i will tri that now. it was after the landscape.zip it still didnt work.

I know... that's because the manila file from SprintBackgroundAllTabs.cab moves the 'slider button' to the side...
I had a look at SprintBackgroundAllTabs.cab and it works on my Diamond...
So I think the TouchPro cant integrate the Sprint background in all tabs...
I guess u have to live with it until 'the Fuze' comes out (looks like TF3D is similar to Sprint)

Updated the SprintMenuIcons.cab in my first post

yes the landscape mode works. thank you for your time. i will try the other cab as soon as i get home.

but the sprintbackgroundinalltabs.cab should be able to work. the .theme fil on the diamond site works but then not the landscape mode and what i have seen when u delete sms in tf3d.
so it wouldnt be impossible. aint im right

any screens of the landscape mode working?
Maybe we should wait for the pro on sprint to be released... that would make things a lot easier I guess

Hello, I made a screen in Photoshop and would like to know if someone can make a skin for incomeing calls who look like that.
I removed all curtains for an advanced look.
The programm should not cause any problme with my beloved iDialer & iContact, it should be only about the incomeing calls.
What do you think?

There is not the smallest reason for HTC to program it the way they did.
That small Images are quit useless. Only 1m away, you cannot recognize the person anymore and to read the name it is also to far.
That could not be too heavy to be done for the guys on XDA.

I don't mind if someone would do that for you, but I would like to say that I like the images as they are, I don't think that they are useless. To be honest, I think that the fullscreen image looks very ugly.

As for now you can't use caller ID in S2U2 on HD2 devices because of this caller ID in WM6.5. So untill someone is making this guys idea come through or if A_C is making his S2U2 to work on WM6.5 devices we're stuck with this small contact picture.

So it is unnecessery to try S2U2, wont work? What means S2U2 by the way?

For now it is unless A_C have released something new that works on WM6.5 lockscreens...
Slide2Unlock2 where 2 is means to i think!

I found a lot of thinks with S2U2, are that different cabs or is it a big programm that contains that all?
Would like the "Slide to Unlock" .cab only.
Is it for free or does it cost something?

I have using Inesoft Phone (it has skinable caller id)
My current skin attached as example
It can also lock screen from acident taps before answer (like slide to answer)
But it's shareware

update : slide 2 unlock version 2.21 FULLSCREEN ID

Download slide2unlock version 2.21, then install BSB Tweaks and
kill all windows Mobile sliders with these tweaks.
THen configure slide to unlock to show FULLSCREEN CALLER-ID.
It works like a charm and even looks better that the drawing from the OP.

Want a big caller picture when phone calls.

Sorry for my bad english guys, I have searched and searched and not find what i want.
Does anyone know how i can make the photo much bigger when someone calls?
Like the iphone when someone with picture calls it gets fullscreen and not like the htc hd2 with a tiny pic.
Hope i could explain it as much and best as i could.
Any tip and trick would be appreciated.

isnt there any other solution.S2U2 doesnt work flawlessly on my KS20 with wm6.5.As do phoneEX and inesoft phone.Isnt there a way just to get the caller picture bigger or even fullscreen like with phonEX without any fancy app or one that works better with wm6.5.3 ?

Well, the Diamond dialer with the Slide to Answer will give you the iphone look that you are looking for. I don't know what device you currently have, but if you have a TP, head over to the TP section and look for a rom from NRGZ. This has this feature available (I think that the app being used is PhoneCanvas but I could be wrong).

TP stands for Touch Pro. There is a QVGA port of PhoneCanvas floating around in the Dev and hacking section.

Phonecanvas is an app (or rather a port) of a dialer.

pocketshield isnt bad but as all others my wm6.5 doesnt like it.I think either my cell is too slow or the builds arent ready for other dialers.The wm6.5 incoming call nearly always puts itself in front of the alternative one which looks odd.I ve done trying now for a while,and stick with stock,but thnaks for the tip
